This platonium is a beast. Shes put on a huge stretch and has a nice amount of branches that are starting to grow some buds. I have them on half bloom and half grow now. Will probably cut our the maxigro in about a week and start them in a pinch if flower boosters. Other than that everything is running smooth.

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Grew genetically similar for a while, one is going long the other going wide. The one treated with magic sauce is growing rapidly vertically even though the umol range is well within the flowering range. (No need to stretch).

I really feel i am showing I know what I’m doing with feminized plants! It’s a great feeling to actually be so relaxed during too!

2018-04-03 Week 14 Day 1 Not much to say, there isn't much drama going on in growroom 2, the only things I do is giving them water and nutes 2 - 3 times/week and making sure that the lamp don't burn the girls. I gave them 4 liters today, and since they live in smartpots I can see when the pot gets wet when watering the girls, but you could hardly notice that. They are getting thirsty 😛 The flowers are developing very good, they look really healthy and their colors are fine. Zombie Kush nr 1 is 66 cm Zombie Kush nr 2 is 87 cm 2018-04-04 Raised the lamp to it’s highest level and turned all girls 1/4 turn, it’s really hard to get in to the ladies in the back, I need to push the girls up against the walls on each side and crawl on the floor to be able to turn them and give them water/nutes. 8/1 This wad the most fucked up morning ever. Didn't get much time with the girls. I was able to take a few pics when I got back amd a video this morning. Pillars are still around. I killed a couple but I probably should spray BT. I think we got rain last night. Bags are heavy. I defoliated a little bit more on the interior and found some small yellow leaves. Event horizon is still on point to flower first. I NEED to lst and add supports for flower bit I've got a lot of other things going on too. I'm going to TRY to spray BT tonight if weather permits and I should have the supports up this weekend. At least that's what I'm hoping. 8/2 Quickly watered as I had to fix a flat tire to get my wife to the doctor. Gave most a gallon but closer to 3/4 on one event horizon and the sherb pie. Half g for the 10 and I gave the 5 and the 50 a little water. I didn't give the 50 much. That holds water far longer. I'm glad I got it done. It was 90°+ and sunny all day. Earlier everything looked great. I think I'm gonna go check them and maybe add a few pictures. WENT OVER AND FOUND THE EVENT HORIZON I GAVE A LUTTLE LESS WATER TO, IN THE BACK COMPLETELY DEOOPED OVER AND DRY. I QUICKLY WATERED A GALLON. I CHECKED THE OTHER PLANTS AND SAW A COUPLE THAT "MIGHT'VE STARTED DROOPING BUT WERE LIGHT SO I GAVE ALL THE GMO'S HALF A GALLON. I WATERED THE CONTAINER PLANTS AND THE ONE IN THE 50. BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. THEY WERE SUPER LIGHT. SOME ARE SHOWING SOME HEAT STRESS BUT I DONT BLAME THEM WHEN ITS PUSHING 100° OUT. I HOPE THIS PLANT WILL PICK UP BUT ILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MORNING TO SEE. I GOTTA GO EAT DINNER AND IT WAS IN ROUGH SHAPE. CANT BELIEVE THIS. ITS THE FURYHEST IN FLOWER TOO. I've had a really rough few days but at least I've still got my girls. After this little bit of rain I'll do the supports and a spray of BT for the pillars. I'm noticing more damage and I don't want them arpund when they can burrow into buds. WENT BACK AT LIKE FIVE. THE 5 GAL WAS DROOPING AND THE 10 WAS DRY AF. OTHERS WERE ALSO LIGHT. I USED 5 GALLONS ON THE GARDEN AS SOME STILL "LOOKED GOOD" BUT WERE DUSTY AND DRY. I ONLY GAVE THE GMO IN THE 30 A HALF GALLON. DIDNT WATER THE ECENT HORIZON IN THE BACK AND THE GMO IN THE FRONT BY THE DOOR ASXTHE LOOKED GOOD AND STILL HAD SOME WEIGHT TO THEM. THIS WAS ANOTHER DAY IN THE 90s THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE RAINED. LUCKILY IVE GOT THAT INTUITION AND I CAN CHECK. CAMS HELP WITH THAT BUT ITS BEST TO CHECK A FEW TIMES A DAY IN WEATHER LIKE THIS. FAR TO HOT TO SPRAY ANYTHING. 8/4 Chose not to water as we were supposed to get an inch of rain, then a half in and now it says .1in. I'm going to go over and check on the garden and see what they look like. I took pictures but I'll have to wait to upload them. WENT BACK OVER IN THE AFTERNOON AROUND 2ISH. GMO IN THE FRONT WAS DROOPY. WATERED THAT A GALLON AND IT WAS UP BY THE TIME I LEFT. THE GMO ON THE END (MY CANARY) WAS SUPER LIGHT SO SHE GOT A GALLON. THE EVENT HORIZON I DIDNT WATER YESTERDAY GOT ABOUT 3/4 OF A GALLON AND I WATERED THE ONE IN THE 10 1/2 GALLON. SHOWERS ARE IN THE FORECAST AND EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKED PRETTY GOOD AND WASNT DEAD LIGHT. AS OF 3 EVERYTHING IS GOOD. I IMAGINE ILL PROBABLY NEED TO WATER SOMETHING TOMORROW. WENT BACK OVER AND FED. EVERYTHING GOT 1.75 PINTS. THE 10 GOT HALF THAT. THE FIVE A LITTLE LESS. I DEFINATELY NEED TO SPRAY FOR PILLARS. I ALSO HAVE A BIT OF DEFOLIATING ON A COUPLE PLANTS THAT I NEED TO DO. USUALLY I'VE LOST TONS OF LEAVES BY NOW. I JUST NEED TO IMPROVE AIRFLOW. THE TRELLIS WILL HELP WITH THAT PLUS SUPPORT. I THINK I MAY BE ABLE TO SPRAY PISSIBLY TONIGHT (DEPENDING ON WEATHER) AND SUPPORTS AND DEFOLIATION THE NEXT FEW DAYS.

All at all really nice plant with beautydull colors at the end the smell during flower is unbeleavable Sweet im sure this is the right seed for a Pheno Hunt there are bangers hidden 100%

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each (nutrients see table above) I will tie the Dr Grinspoon down again with LST and apply topping because it will be damn big 😂. Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Info and pictures were taken at day 12 of flower. Nice progress this week. There's plenty of new growth. She hasn't grown upwards as much as the other ladies, only about 5 cm this week. BUT she's got a darker green color, stronger smell than all the others. It's smell is unique and very strong. Not sweet, VERY pungent, it's a slap in the face kind of smell. Her bud formation is also more advanced than all the other girls. That's something I need to watch out for because she's an early finisher. Supposedly finishes in 40 - 45 days. Feeding 1,5L each, every other day. Will be increasing as they ask for more. How do they ask for more? When feeding if the soil is drier than normal I give a 150-200ml increment of water. I do that until they stop feeding so much then i just maintain that amount. I start reducing if it takes longer to dry. That works good for me. The old finger in the dirt trick. 👍 Nothing like knowing exactly what your ladies need first hand. That's it for now.
