Well, it's been three weeks since the last visit to the site, and I have to say that the girls have grown significantly in size! Defoliation has proven beneficial for them! It's also clear how well Plagron bat guano is working. As you can see, the plants have already begun to flower and gain mass. I want to note that the Fast Version from Sweet Seeds really started flowering earlier than the regular versions, giving me a two-week head start. This gives hope to avoid mold during harvest. Overall, I am very pleased! I'm considering adding Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients to enhance sugar production in the flowers and make them taste better!

- Not much to report this week. Shes still stretching like crazy. - Lowered the pot down in the bucket a few Centimetres because she reached the top of the led strips already. Now shes reached them again, hopefully she doesn't stretch much more because i'm quickly running out of space. In the worst case scenario, ill have to move her outside. - Finally some pre-buds started forming towards the end of this week. - Its drinking a lot as well, giving her a good soaking of about 2 litres every 2-3 days.

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

Plants came back out of their 36 hours of darkness and were a little droopy, so I made the decision to put them outside for the first day of light. Unfortunately they suffered from wind burn so I brought them back to the tent. Foliar fed the plants daily at 400PPM.

30.12.24: So I finally became brave enough last night to use LST on my grow for the first time. Watermelon 🍉 is doing much better than the other plants were at this stage, and still better than one that's 7 weeks old already! I'm very pleased with this strain and phenotype so far. As I've implemented the LST much earlier for her, I'm very excited to see what happens in the next couple of weeks 😃 Thanks for checking out my diary 🙂🍃✌️

Im worried about it stretching too much also I switched to 12/12 this week

Week 1 of veg was a tough one. In the middle of updating my grow tent gear, i stumbled upon hardship with the young ladies. The first days was with my old LED light, and when i switched to the new light, they suffered from light burn and high temps adjusting it. This is the first day of week 4. I decided against any form or training or topping and decided to focus on watering and getting nutrients correct for this first grow. Being it’s a tent grow, I can essentially grow when I choose now anyway. Touching the plant leaves the soft but pleasant smell on your fingers that we all know and love. I’ve also drilled more holes in the bottom of the pot and do get some runoff when I water now. Considering switching to 12/12 in a weeks time.
