The two fastbuds are showing many pistils, whereas the two zambezas seems to be a bit behind in flowering, must be for the ruderalis genetics I imagine. Haply with the way the canopy is developing, looking forward to see these babes fatten up!!

Its been amazing watching them grow in the first week 😍 Lets go for week 2 🤞 I think they look a bit heat stressed so i raise the lamp a few centimeters.. Day 8- 100ml Water Day10- 400ml Water Day 12- 1L Water + 0.7 ml Root Fast Day 13 -----> I gave the same amount of water to all 4 plants last time but #1 and #2 look overwater i think... #3 has a diferent structure and a bit darker, probably because the soil is to rich. Big Bud is looking perfect 😍

Well, this is week five and these lovely ladies are taking off. The only problems I have had (knock on wood) was the autopots valve sticking and flooding occasionally. I think I have them figured out though. Customer service from them is amazing. I will as always update throughout the week. Take care and happy growing. 🙂

Week 8 marked the final stretch of mid flower, and she’s really starting to show off. Buds continued stacking steadily across the canopy with thick white pistils and frost ramping up hard. Trichomes are now fully visible on the sugar leaves and showing the first signs of cloudiness. On Day 50, I watered with Cal-Mag (1 ml/gal) before heading out of town for a few days. She held up great while I was away — no droop or stress. On Day 56, I brewed and applied Compost Tea (Tea Party #4) as a full-strength drench and refilled the auto-watering base with the rest. I also refreshed the topsoil to maintain moisture contact. Some purple has started showing up on the buds, and the fade has officially begun on the lower fan leaves. No new training this week, just some tucking to keep bud sites exposed. The aroma is ramping up and she’s entering the home stretch with a strong structure and healthy energy heading into Week 9.

Welcome to week 7! Almost time to flower and things are looking good. Since last week I did some light defoliation and cleaning up of the bottoms over a few days. I also lightly tied some of the branches out to allow a bit more light penetration but also to spread the canopy. This week (at the end of the week) the plants got one water containing a 2tsp of kelp, and 2 tsp of freeze dried coconut. The ladies also got one foliar spray with Mountain Organics sprouts, citrus and Rita oil combined with a small amount of Method 1pps (see picture in week 6). Temperature and humidity has really been steady thanks to the help of my Grow Ratio ESU and fans. Hoping I can keep this rate of growth into flower. 9/9 (Day 84)- Things are wrapping up I believe! Have continued to mainly just monitor and keeping the res topped with just the full tilt. Monday we be going RO water ph to 5.8 until finish. The leaves are starting to change to a yellow and the front and dive have been packing on! Looking forward to the finish and have ordered a rosin press so excited for it all and ready and looking forward to improving and learning from my mistakes this run. 9/11 (Day 86)- Did my final flush this morning and now just running RO water to flush. Just hoping I am not flushing too early. Everything is looking good. Dry tent is set up and ready to roll. I am able to get my area down to around 64. I am actually moving my set up after these girls finish to the room with my dry tent and have a better work area! I’m excited for the next run already! As always any tips or recommendations always appreciated!

Not much to say about the GG#4 at this time, will update in about two weeks with dry weight/flavor/smoke info. Overall I am happy with this strain and how it grew. Update June 19, 95 grams dry bud. Very impressed with the bud size, density, color and stickyness. First smoke impression is hints of fruit and citrus, sweet aroma and flavor. Very mellowing high, just feel like relaxing on the couch with a large pizza lol 😁

Week 4 – Blue Sunset Sherbert The plants are thriving in week 4 of flowering! 🌱 I added a layer of Greenhouse Feeding and Allmix on top to ensure they have enough nutrients until harvest. 🌿 The buds are swelling nicely, and resin production is clearly ramping up. ✨ The scent is also getting stronger, with noticeable citrus notes coming through 🍋. 3 seeds from barneys farm : zkittlez Og auto. Diary : Day 1: I dug a pit and cleaned my dirt with metal grid and a wheelbarrow & Installed the greenhouse. Day 2 : I rotated my dirt and added universal soil. 4 x 70l to area of 6m2 . I also planted seeds in universal soil without sprouting first. Day 3 : I gave water and checked for sprouts. Bought moist meter and dripping hose. Installed those and making the greenhouse more moisty now. Putted seeds in small sprout basket for now. Feeling : Verry happy for my first time. Lots to learn.. . Excited

Why we changed nothing (and why that’s not doing nothing) Your room conditions: • 🌡️ Day temp: ~28 °C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • 📏 Height: ~40–80 cm • 💡 LED lighting On paper, some growers would panic at 28 °C in flower. But here’s the key difference between growing by numbers and growing by understanding: Under LED, leaf temperature ≠ room temperature. LEDs don’t radiate infrared heat like HPS. So while the wall sensor says 28 °C, the leaf surface is usually 2–4 °C cooler. And the plant does not “feel” the room — it feels its own leaf temperature. That’s where leaf VPD comes in. ⸻ Leaf VPD — the part most people skip VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) is simply the difference between how much moisture the air can hold and how much it actually holds. But here’s the nuance most charts miss: • Room VPD is calculated with room temp • Leaf VPD is calculated with leaf temp So if: • Room = 28 °C • Leaf = ~24–26 °C • RH = 65% 👉 our leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants are confirming that with their behavior: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing, no praying too hard • Internodes strong and structured • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s the real data. We’re not ignoring numbers We’re letting the plant be the final authority. Stability here beats “fixing” something that isn’t broken. ⸻ Defoliation — why this time was heavier Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional defoliation. Context matters: • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, light penetration, humidity pockets all scale differently Sometimes a single plant wouldn’t “ask” for leaves to be removed — but the room does. Why you defoliated: • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Allow photons to travel deeper, not just hit the roof • Reset apical dominance and refocus energy on flowering sites Yes — i went harder than originally planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Plants are healthy • Root zone is dialed • Feed is stable Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. These girls are the first category. And importantly: we didn’t stack stress. No feed change. No environment change. No light shock. That’s how we “go hard” safely. What to expect next week (and what not to expect) Expect: • Slight pause as plants redirect energy • Fresh flower site definition • Upright posture returning after defoliation • Strong tops responding to improved light access Do NOT expect: • Explosive vertical stretch (that window is closing) • Deficiency symptoms (unless something external changes) • Need for immediate correction Next week is observation week again.
