Greetings, fellow cultivators and enthusiasts of the green realm! Week 7 of our Apolo F1's botanical odyssey has unfolded with a sense of urgency, as she races towards harvest with astonishing speed. Join me as we delve into the world of autoflowers, where time bends and nature's clock reigns supreme. In the realm of autoflowers, time moves like a river, swift and unyielding. Our Apolo F1 is a testament to this enchanting phenomenon, progressing at a pace that defies expectations. With each passing day, she inches closer to her moment of glory, a testament to the genetic marvel that is the autoflower. The floral symphony reaches a crescendo as our green virtuoso enters the later stages of flowering. Buds swell and mature with remarkable speed, painting the canopy in hues of green and gold. It's a sight to behold, a testament to the accelerated growth and vitality inherent in autoflowers. Despite the rapid pace, we remain vigilant, knowing that nature's timing is the ultimate arbiter. While our Apolo F1 may be racing towards harvest, we must respect her journey and allow her to dictate the pace. The moon on harvest day beckons, but patience is the virtue that will ensure a truly celestial yield. As we marvel at the accelerated growth and breathtaking beauty of our Apolo F1, it's worth reflecting on the brilliance of autoflowers. These genetic marvels have revolutionized cultivation, offering a streamlined experience without sacrificing yield or quality. It's a testament to the ingenuity of nature and the boundless possibilities of genetic engineering. Amidst the whirlwind of growth, the nutrient-rich serenade persists. The transition from veg to flower mix continues to fuel our green companion's journey, ensuring she has all the nourishment needed to reach her full potential. The aqueous symphony plays on, a constant companion in this botanical adventure. A heartfelt thank you to Aptus Holland for crafting the nutrient symphony that fuels our green odyssey, and to Royal Queen Seeds for providing the genetic star of our celestial spectacle. The journey thus far has been nothing short of magical, and we continue to marvel at the wonders of nature's timekeeper. Join me in the next chapter of our Apolo F1 Mission Diary, where we'll witness the final sprint towards harvest and celebrate the culmination of this extraordinary journey. Until then, may your gardens flourish, and your green endeavors be ever blessed by the magic of autoflowers! So I was just having a good look at my plants today, when I noticed that one of the girls looked different! She has three leaves instead of the usual two appearing! I realized it was odd when I saw that she also had three cotyledons instead of the normal and natural two! So I did my research and it's called either whorled phylotaxy or a polyploid (which I figured from the start).😄 So obviously, I'm a first time grower and a newbie to it all, and I'm not sure if these girls are ready to be moved outside yet, or are they still a bit too small? Should I wait for a second pair of true leaves?✊

Good morning everyone😁😁 Day 16 of the flowering period plant is showing me she want some extra nutes. So i raised it with some extra pk and calmag from aptus just to give her an extra boost. Within the week i wanna see results. Now it s time to slowly dry her out so the lv will be at 40. In the end of her day the lv is between 52 and 42 but i want to lower it to 40 and try to keep it at 40 to max 46. Keep ya all posted Day 19 already, and got some nutes probs. Runtz is going fine but the ww xl is having some major probs i think it' s missing some pk. Looking also at the Runtz i think she is also missing a little pk so raised pk on both ladies. Hope to see some results before the end of the week. Day 21 has past and things are not in control yet. Raised my watering to 1.5 liter cause she is so thirsty. Hope to see results in the coming 2 days Keep m green and grow Big Buds😁💚💯

Blue Dream Xtreme is still the biggest in the run. Growing well. I did some root pruning early week. Cut off the long root tails. I should of done that in beginning, and aimed for a furry root basket. Learning new stuff all the time. I am growing her in a New Level Hydro bucket, under the Spider Farmer SE5000 light at 60 percent currently. Day 15 since seed touched soil. All is going amazing. Yesterday topped them up a bit. Stems looks lanky, would expect stronger by now, but generally girls fly ! Off course i watered them straight after goodies were rubbed into top soil. Great White - 4 g sprinkled around for each plant BioSys same amount. Ecothrive Bio Blend - 200 grams added to each pot. Bomb should be my back up plan, but she is behind, like 3-4 days to other two girls, now on Day 16, she looks better, they grow each day a lot, but she is still the smallest babe ;) Lights are still on 40%, Mars as always has great products for growers. Think this week i will start some training. Day 19. Yesterday girl got 600ml. She is way smaller than other two, maybe even no training will be done to her. Other two gets LST tomorrow. Day 20. First LST. Watering straight after, plus Biobizz Leaf Coat shower. Approx 2 liters went in, first big saturation. Happy Growing !!!

8/24 update: Welcome back to my garden! Thanks for following me on this 17+1 strain photoperiod SOG grow adventure! Yes, I said plus one. If you're following me, you may have already seen that I decided to sow one more strain. The first Jenny Kush seed didn't germinate and even if it did, we have 3 possible males in the garden, the rest are feminized. Since I bought sixteen 12 inch square pots to fill a 48" x 48" footprint, and we have some regular seeds in the mix, I figured it'd be a good idea to add one more strain. I went with another breeder I have never grown before, Expert Seeds. The strain is Gorilla x Cookies. My "helper" forgot to wet the seeds after I had sowed them and the top soil was a bit dry. I was not in the garden a little less than 48 hours and I gave them water when sowing, but I hope they didn't dry out too much. If the Gorilla Cookies doesn't germinate, I will rule that one as user error and not on the breeder. The rest of the garden is growing strong with the exception of the Sour Lemonaid. She sprouted looking a bit burnt and has some deformed leaves. In my experience, they usually grow out of it, but only time will tell. Thanks for stopping in and if you get a chance, check out a few of my other diaries and give me a follow. Happy growin', happy harvestin', and happy tokin'! Peace, ☮️ Love, 💚 and Frosty Nugs! ❄️🌲 - Fo' Twenny

Week 4 continue to spray every other day with foliar IPM (mix of RO water, Organishield, EM-1). Clones transplanted from 1 gallon plastics to 3 gallon fabric bags. Soil medium a mixture of Nature's Living Soil w/FF Ocean bottom third of bag. Remaining medium is a mixture of FF Happy Frog and Light Warrior, perlite, and Mykos Xtreme (mycorrhizal root inoculant). Watered with RO water, FF cal/mag, EM-1 microbial inoculant, drops of balance, and recharge. PPFD between 400-600 with SF-2000 light 12" above w/dimmer set at 50%. Additional Note: Transplanted a Blueberry Cupcake (Humboldt Seeds) and French Macaron (TH Seeds) from dixie cups to 1 gallon plastic containers. Transplant medium consists of FF Happy Frog, Light Warrior, Perlite, and Mykos Xtreme mycorrhizal root inoculant. 1 gallon girls set 20" below lights. PPFD between 300-320. Plan is to eventually move 3 of the 3 gallons to a 3x3 AC Infinity tent with 4" AC fan w/carbon filter under a Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 300 watt LED. The remaining three will continue in current 2x4.

Partial reset on this girl who is obviously stunted and struggling. Not all strains are created equal and experience combined with skill goes a long way. So, taking my lumps with this girl. So, long story short, I reduced the ppm by draining and replacing 2.5 gallons of ph'd RO w/cal-mag added. This resulted in bringing down the ppm to roughly 500 w/ph at around 5.6. Will continue to monitor ph, ppm, and water levels for the remainder of this week looking for stabilization. At that point, I will gradually raise the ppm levels. If she doesn't make it back before TKO is ready to flip, I may need to scrap her given limited space. Come on girl, let's go... Midweek 4 update: Well, time has come for a decision. I moved the PBCRbx over to the 3x3 grow tent, so I can continue to care for her. Clear case of too much nutrients (high ppm levels) that have stunted early stage veg growth. Tried monitoring and adjusting ph twice a day but ppm remained higher than range resulting in fan leave tips looking burnt. Also some nutrient lock out occurring. Given ppm remaining high and water level dropping, I decided it was time to do a complete flush. Emptied and thoroughly cleaned bucket, air stone, and air line exposed in bucket. RO water with cal-mag and nutrients ph'd to 5.5 w/ppms at roughly 625. A day after flushing, the PBCRbx is looking a lot better. As a back up, I am running a separate PBCRbx by Ethos in a 3 gal fabric of coco peat, which is doing very well.

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.
