Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Looking good so far with a 10€ Amazon full spectrum light and the cheapest soil I could get from Lidl. I'm using a closet wrapped with aluminium foil as grow tent.

A ma façon !

FBT 2212 grew great in a 4 gallon potter of coco. She was dialed in really well the mass of the grow. She has a earthy fruity smell going in. I will update a harvest video if it let's me. Day 49 Flip day! Just flipped them to 12/12 took loads of leaves off. Let's see if I've guessed the sex right then 😏 I think I've got 3 fems but people still tell me I want know until I've flipped 🤷‍♂️🏼 Update: Day 50 and day 1 of flower looking very happy will give a nice feed when soil dries out. Lights are now maxed out and on Day 51, day 2 of flower I'm sure all 3 are definitely fems will keep eye on them next few days 👀 Update again: Day 53, Day 4 of flower and they looking beautiful 😍

06/03/19 - unfortunately this was my own fault for being gullible with a mix of just not thinking, but I got a cal deficiency on my OG which was fitting seeing as everything was going well, but I think I have resolved the problem as I’m not see the new growth being affected but I do think it has slowed down in growth abit but I’m guessing that’s understandable, I’m really happy I’ve turned to mills as I can tell a difference from my previous grows, this slight hiccup was my fault but they were that healthy I’m almost positive it’s gonna spring right back 🤞🏻 09/03/19 - definitely looks like it stopped growing for awhile as the gelatos are a hell of a lot bigger now compare to my OG but I think the problems been solved as their was only a little progression on some of the newer leaves but the newest set of leaves seem unharmed includeding the side branches. 12/03/19 - a lot smaller than the gelatos but never the less I’ve started the LST/leaf braiding with the OG aswell to make sure the side branches catch up as they were stunted from the cal mag def

Day 64, 12.06.2024 Today marks the start of week 10. I just saw that some of the leafs of Erika I are clawing upwards. I double checked the light distance to the canope which seems to be fine at around 30cm. I watered yesterday. As over watering might be the culprit as well I will watch closely wether it gets better during the next 24h. However, as we are approaching the finishing line I will not put too much effort in this issue. Day 65, 13.06.2024 Another round of drinks is about to be served. As Erika I is tacoing (edges of the leafs are facing towards the light) I went into analysis: It could be a) lights: after checking the distance again I an rule that out. Also the other plant does not show any clawing symptoms. b) underwatering: I gave 500ml extra water yesterday in the morning in hopes of recovery by afternoon. But no sign of relaxation so I ruled out that as well. c) overwatering: hard to believe as I only water 15% of the pot volume every other day and there is no drain d) over fertilization: Thats a point - I gave both plants the exact same amount of nutrition during grow. I think this plant might have had enough for a while. Because of d) I decided to not give Erika I any fertilizers today (she also did not show signs of low nutrition in the past). However, I will water both and keep an eye on them. No reason for panic though I guess. Also: Being on the final lap towards harvest I recognized quite a lot of the pistils are getting orange. I would say currently over all buds around 50-60% of the pistils are orange. I will wait until ~90% of them are orange and then take a look at the trichomes, where I aim for 80/20 ratio (cloudy to amber). Day 66, 14.06.2024 No action today. Day 67, 15.06.2024 Today I will water and feed again - providing 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax + 1,2ml CalMag to Erika II. For Erika I I am still waiting for the leafs to un-taco - but until now there is no sign of it. This is the last official week with nutrients anyway so maybe Erika I already had her last meal, but without realizing 😂 Tacoing did not went away. Didn't really change at all actually. So they both get water & nutes. Next time I might skip nutes on Erika I. Amount of water: ~600ml each Day 68, 16.06.2024 No action on the plants today. Revised my timing and plans: - BioBizz nutrient schedule is made for roughly 10 weeks of flowering with flushing instructions on the second to last week and harvest on the last week - assuming the Erikas started flowering in their 3rd week that leaves me with facing the 8th flowering week up (which is also the last week they should get nutrition) right ahead - Decision: will give them 3 times nutrients over the next 1 week. Then I will stop giving them nutrients and start flushing every other day (water then until water comes out below the pots). - I assume/hope I will flush for at least one week until it is time for harvest This period of the grow is unexpectedly exciting! I do not have any experience from other grows but until now I think it went quite good. There were no pests, no big time nutrient deficiencies, etc. and the buds look big and firm (at least from what I can tell anyway). Day 69, 17.06.2024 - A round of drinks to the ladies: The usual 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax in 600ml of water each. Will NOT skip nutes on Erika I. - Humidity is starting to pose a problem again: During night time the humidity does not go below 68% for 6 hours. I surely hope this is not a problem - but I do not have any other choice: there is high humidity currently outside (lots of rain & warm weather). I will hope for the best I guess. - removed 3 more leafs Day 70, 18.06.2024 No action today but to experience high humidity (~69%) without being able to do something about that 😢 This concludes week 10. The breeder states this strain is ready for harvest after 11 weeks. Well.. I guess I am about to find out.

Deep Forest Auto is growing great. She has been growing very well. I did some more lst and defoliation on her today. She is making excellent progress. Nothing more to report this last week.
