Another noteworthy update in my cannabis cultivation journey has unfolded. I've introduced 'Rhino Skin' into the nutrient regimen for the plants. Known for its silica-rich composition, this supplement is designed to strengthen the cell walls of the plants, enhancing their resistance and robustness. We are now in the twilight of the vegetative stage, and the plants are absorbing the final days of growth-focused care. When the current nutrient tank is depleted, I will initiate the eagerly awaited transition into the bloom phase. In anticipation of this transition, I have prepared a bloom-specific nutrient mix that will encourage the plants to produce the lush, resinous flowers we all look forward to. This shift not only marks a new stage in the life cycle of the plants but also ushers in a period of excited anticipation as we edge closer to the fruition of my efforts.

week 3 is a tough rn not gonna lie shes yellowing extremely fast and shes begging me for potassium. i was just giving her 2 tsps to 3 gallons of water. as of today (jan 8 2022) i gave her a feed of 1 and 1/4 bloom and 1/4 veg nutes to try to fight the yellowing. i honestly dont know if that was the right thing to do most threads i read just said to add some nitrogen but idk if dyna gros bloom and grow are meant to be mixed. especially this late in flower. either way its too late i already gave it to her i guess now all i can do is wait and see what happens. you can see how fast the yellowing is happening too.

Shes growing well , I will be dialing the nutrients back on her as well I dont think I have to but its to keep it nice and even throughout the grow until she reaches flower . I can really say I have complaints about her for the past week shes been growing and doing her thing :) Shes getting ready to push up a new node so thats always exciting ! Week 6 day 42 flower. Really starting to develop trichomes so now I'll be watching for the right amount of amber and milky heads , heard sativa can go as long as 90 days in flower

Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. Also spotted some discolouration on a few leaves closest to the light, so I turned the one light down to 60-75%, no need to push it at this point and burn her up! She will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. In week 5 of flower and decided to start documenting my indoor 2x4 grow setup. We currently just finished day 3 of week 5. I have my lights running from 9:15PM - 8:45AM. I am not sure how I messed up on my timer but that's been my schedule since flipping to flower. I have an A/C in my bedroom that I duct into the tent. I have my A/C set at 62F and the tent gets to around 71-75F with the lights on. Lights off it ranges from 68-70F. I have a small dehumidifier in the tent that needs to be replaced because it is not efficient. I have an intake fan running at full blast at all times and my exhaust fan is automated to turn on based on temp and humidity. Week 5 has brought on a lot of strong dank smells and a whole lot of weight to the buds. They are really starting to thicken up! I have not had too many issues with this grow so far and luckily, the tent in clean and bug-free. Lots of resin and terpene production going on and you can smell and see it increase daily! I am following General Hydroponics Flora Series 6-Part grow chart. I am currently following the medium strength chart. I'll measure everything out exactly as the chart suggest then dilute my mix until I get to my desired PPM of 1000-1200. I PH around 6.2-5.8 and then add my microbes. I changed up my watering technique mid grow due to an issue I dealt with and now watering 2x a day. Lights on and right before lights off. If my lights didn't run overnight, I would like to add in a 3rd watering in the middle of my light cycle but 2 a day is working for now. I water until there is a good amount of runoff. I measure the PPM of my runoff compared to the PPM of my inflow mix and will keep watering until the runoff is 300PPM or less over my input. So if my mix is 1000 PPM and my runoff is 1600PPM, I will go back and water or as I like to think about it, rinse off the coco until my runoff PPM is at 1300-1000. It is a little tedious but it's a habit I formed and it does not take much longer to ensure your PPMs in the root zone is perfectly where I want it. I defoliated right before flipping to flower. Then defoliated 2 weeks later, and then a minor defoliation on week 4 of big fan leaves. I most likely won't be taking off any more leaves for the rest of the grow unless they are really blocking the light. I am planning on harvesting in week 8 or 9, depending on when the plant is showing it is ready. For General Hydroponics line, it has been the same nutrient strength/mix from week 3-5. Next week, Week 6, we start lowering the strength and adjust the amounts as we get into the later stages of flower and eventually will be flushing. For my flush, I will be using GH Florakleen, GH ripen, Mammoth P, and Bio-Fizz. Excited to see how these girls turn out! I'll be adding my outdoor grow as well as a new veg tent that I setup yesterday in my room. Stay tuned!

Excited to get these things dried and cured. The terpene profile is really interesting, if a bit on the lighter side. I'll report back on the smoke report.

02/23/2022 Lots of stretching this week,not much to say so I let the pics and videos talk for them selves🙏🏻 Enjoy Grape Skunk tall and lanky one I'm loving! I will number her for future reference. Biscotti Skunk has some droopy leaves, it's watering day.

Week 5 - Same nutes from previous week. 2 more weeks of vega i think. Look ate the shape of the plant and the wires to hold she down. I have toped my plants 2 times over the past 2 weeks, and now all of their have the "H" shape in the base

Week 3 closing out with lots of stuff happening!😍 On Day 14, she was repotted into her forever-home, 20L airpot, Terra Light Mix from Plagron, amended with some rice husks i have still left over and some limestone. Watered in with 3 Liters @6.0PH, 2ml/L Grow (up from 0.8 last time - trying to push the limits a bit) and 1ml/L rootjuice, and a generous sprinkling of great white mycorhizzae. Afterwards, i left her ample time to regenerate and didnt stress her all too much. Just kidding 💩. On Day 16, i chopped of her head because i felt like it and havent topped in a while.😈 Day 19 i watered her with 4L, 5.9PH, 1ml/L Roots and 2ml/L Grow. On Day 20 i brought out the first LST stakes since she's getting very bushy and i didnt want to defoliate already, seeing as i stressed her enough the last couple of days 😬

To get higher temperatures I placed the growbox near the radiator, dimmer still at 25%, boiled tap water also this week, this guaranteed me an ideal pp for the beginning, from now on I will use mountain water which will allow me to use less fertilizer.

I know it is only two weeks but compared to other auto flower plants during this stage I'm starting to think that all three of my girls are stunted. I did have an issue during week 1. My light wasn't 18 inches as Mars Hydro indicated. I still had my lights height at 24inches.

Its done! Even though I expected a higher yield, I'm happy with my first harvest. It could have gone worse. Got 61 grams of the biggest plant, it took eternities, but the yield is pretty decent for a first grow. Thanks WSE! Next up will be Strawberry kush and Harlequin.
