The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work

Farm: 24.5 degrees - 54% humidity 23/01/2021 Purple Punch # 2 has sprouted. I'm quite late with the publication of the diary, the reason is the large number of photos I take and then I need to find time to put everything in a pile, along with the notes and type everything nicely. Another easy week, weather has been beautiful! Lot’s of ☀️. They have been very thirsty as a result, I was able to get three waterings in this week. Just keep bringing them in and out of their pop up greenhouse daily. Started to taper down some of the feeds, two plain oh waterings and one feed this week. week 2 of flower, been able to line up compost teas with feeds so they get nutes, nutes, RO+TEA, Repeat. foliar last times this week, I stop spraying anything on week 3! showed how i like to shake them up with the scrog a bit in last vid. I do that to essentially simulate a wind storm, strengthen stalks and roots, also helps reorganizing the canopy as you sorta shake things into place that were bunched up next to neighboring leaves. next week will do a fairly heavy defoliation to allow better airflow around colas

Grand Prixx - Wizard Trees Day 21 - I've transplanted her to her main grow pot, a 10L fabric pot. I also watered her with 1L of RO tap water, with defined nutrients mixed individually in order and then pH'd to 6.3. she looks a bit sad, but I have been purposely under watering her to make the transplant easier! I will now let her settle in over the next few days before she's watered again. 🙏🏻

June 26 Getting bigger and bigger! Makes me wonder if I should flip her to flower here soon to control the size since she's not an autoflower which is usually smaller, genetically. She hasn't used up all of the nutrients in the bucket yet either. June 27 Plant was a bit droopy, so a half gallon of PH'd water did the trick. June 30 Some lower leaves are getting yellow and dying. I'm taking that as a sign that the soil is almost out of nutrients. Mixed up a 1/8th strength of General Organics GO Box nutrients (week 1 to avoid nute burn), but upped the CalMag to 1/4 strength. Fed one gallon at a PH of 6.7 to slight runoff.

Day 41. She’s looking happy and healthy and full. She got defoliated so the light can get to her lower blood sights and hopefully make them larger and more dense. She’s eating heavy and drinking a ton of water. I’m happy with how she’s progressing so far. Sweet seeds always hits it out of the park.
