Day 16 week 3 of flowering. Wow this girl has really stretched!!! She is up against the light & I can't raise the light anymore as the fan & filter is above the light up against the roof. Had to super crop the tallest branch & have tried to open her up some more with some serious bending & tying down carefully as the stems split pretty easily. Defoliated her & some more lolliepoping, she is going to grow some really nice big buds 👍

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. 04/29/2021 GSC, is Fairing well against PM Blue Dream not so much going to have to physically wash leaves to take care of that. Watered in with Seed & Plant (mychoriza).

The start of cultivation was not at all favorable at temperatures below 10 degrees then came a storm that caused cracks and tears in the leaves ... The leaves were very dirty from clay and perlite, so I tried to wash them all with a paper tissue. The weather was not at all kind, so I added Advanced Nutrients- B52 vitamins and Rhino Skin to strengthen the stem and leaf I often meet different animals on my way through the forest, today I met a newly born young fallow deer

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Plants seem healthy, some lower growth discolored. I read coco coir should be feed more often than not and that one should not let it dry out like soil. I will be watering every other day now until run off. Plants eating way more as run off is not as much as was. Will be raising amount of water in next feed. I topped a majority of the side branching on both these plants, I have also done some super cropping and I continue to do lst. Wonder pie is 10 inches along main stem to tip of the tops. Milky Dreams is 11 inches along main stem and is my biggest plant. Wonder pie seems to produce more bud sites and truly seems like a wild plant.

The plants are drinking more Still trying to find the best nutrient feeding schedule. I noticed the leaves were turning light green after i took the nitrogen level down so i put it back up a little. I defoliated this week only removing the leaves in the middle and top that are blocking other bud sites. took only a few off each plant so the plant doesn't stress out. I left the bottom larger leaves on the plant so it takes the nutrients from the bottom first before the rest of the plant when its deficient, That way only the bottoms will turn color instead of my whole plant. Thats just the way i like to do the defoliation but i know everyone has their own ways :) Next week I will defoliate once again.

Day 24-31 (Day 25) The smell in here is absolutely ridiculous. My last grow didn’t smell even close to this bad in early flower. (Day 27) Stretch is finally all done. #6 in the back is very stout and barely stretched compared to everything else. I doubt it will yield much but I’m excited to see the nice tight colas on it. It seems to be still getting adequate light and raising it up is hard to do with a scrog net so I will just leave it. If it wasn’t getting enough light it would be stretching right? The early frost is really shocking to me. My last indoor round definitely wasn’t this caked and I’ve never had an outdoor plant on this level either. That’s also true in terms of smell too. (Day 29) I’m still debating whether I should feed anything in flower or just leave it. The only deficiency I’m seeing is purple stems from P def which could actually just be from light intensity rather than a lack of P. I’ve done some thinking and I’ve decided to only feed my small plant. What I’m most curious about is if a PK boost will actually make any kind of a difference in flower when it comes to bud size and smokability. So to test this theory I will be top dressing a teaspoon of 0-18-0 bat guano, a tablespoon of 1-4-2 Destiny launch and a half strength watering of 0-0-15 kelp extract. I’m trying to avoid N all together as I just toxed my guinea pig plants with another experimental flowering PK boost that had a very small amount of N in it. This plant in particular actually has very early signs of N def and probably will fade harder than the rest. (Day 31) Shit. Looks like #1 is starting to herm. It’s definitely not environment or light leaks so maybe it’s just genetic or the recent leaching stressed it out too much. Either way, it’s only a single lower branch and I’m prepared to cut her down if I start seeing anymore. I double checked every other budsite but couldn’t find anymore. In my experience true herms usually start pushing bananas out of the main tops and plants like mine can usually be salvaged with little to no seeded bud. But then again it’s day 31, when these things usually start to happen. I’m 50/50 on this one. I will be watching it everyday like a hawk if anymore show up. The breeder I’m using, ‘Jordan of the Island’s’ is notorious for having unstable genetics and this will be the last time I run any of his stuff. The quality is good, certainly better than most European and Dutch genetics I’ve run but I know I could do better where genetics are concerned. I can’t wait to start hunting my archive dosidos x gelato 41 and in house sugarcane.
