🌱 Eternity Grow Cup: Week 1 Report – The Journey Begins 🌟 First and foremost, a huge thank you to Grow Diaries, the incredible community, and all the amazing sponsors that make this journey possible. Big shoutouts to my core supporters: Aptus Holland, Pro-Mix Soil, TrolMaster, ThinkGrow LED, Future of Grow LED, and CannaKan. And for this special Eternity Grow Cup run, I’m deeply grateful to have Zamnesia and Plagron on board, providing seeds and the game-changing Green Sensation. Your support inspires me to put my all into this grow! 💚 🌿 Week 1 Highlights: Slow but Steady Progress This week has been all about resilience and careful nurturing. Despite colder-than-ideal temperatures, the Zamnesia Runtz seedlings are showing their strength and determination. Here’s how things are looking: Environment Stats • Daytime Temps: ~18°C • Nighttime Temps: ~14°C • Humidity (RH): ~60% • Root Support: Heating mat keeping the root zone warmer, ensuring the seedlings stay cozy even when ambient temps drop. Growth Update • All five phenos (labeled Runtz #1–5) have sprouted and are now showing their first leaves. • Growth is slow due to the low temperatures, but the Pro-Mix HP with Biofungicide and Mycorrhizae is proving to be an amazing medium—supporting healthy roots and steady development. • No nutrients yet, just plain water, allowing the seedlings to establish themselves naturally in this excellent soil. Faith in the Pheno Hunt I’m holding onto the dream of finding that special passion-fruit pheno I adored in the past. It’s still early days, but I believe in the magic of this strain and the promise each seed holds. Educational Focus: Germination to Week 1 Care The Importance of Root Warmth in Cold Conditions Maintaining a consistent root-zone temperature is crucial when growing in a cold environment. Here’s how I’ve adapted: • Using a heating mat under the pots to keep the roots warm while the surrounding air remains cooler. • Ensuring the soil stays evenly moist, as dry conditions can amplify the impact of cold. Minimal Feeding Philosophy For the first week, I stick to plain water—letting the soil and its microbial life do the heavy lifting. This allows the seedlings to establish strong roots without risk of overfeeding or salt buildup. Patience is Key Early growth may seem slow, especially in cooler climates, but this is the foundation stage. Each small leaf and root is setting the stage for explosive growth in the weeks to come. Visual Storytelling: A Peek Behind the Scenes This week, I’ve documented every detail through photos and videos to share the full story: • Photos: Close-ups of all five phenos, capturing their early beauty. • Videos: A general end-of-week overview and a behind-the-scenes look at my process, shot with my Sony A6000 on a tripod. • These visuals not only highlight the progress but also offer a deeper look into the tools and techniques I’m using. Looking Ahead: Building Momentum As the journey continues, I’m confident these seedlings will pick up momentum. Next week, I’ll be keeping an eye on root development and early veg growth while maintaining the same environment and feeding approach. Community Love & Thanks I want to thank Grow Diaries and this incredible community for making this journey so rewarding. To all the participants: good luck, and let’s keep learning and growing together! Let’s make this cup one for the history books. Stay tuned for Week 2, where we’ll dive deeper into the evolution of these amazing plants. Until then, keep growing, keep dreaming, and let’s make magic happen! 🌟 Genetics - Runtz https://www.zamnesia.com/6000-zamnesia-seeds-runtz-feminized.html Nutrients - Plagron https://plagron.com/en/hobby - Aptus Holland https://aptus-holland.com/ Controls - Trol MAster https://www.trolmaster.eu/ LED - https://www.futureofgrow.com/en LED - https://www.thinkgrowled.com Soil - https://www.promixgardening.com/en Germination - Cannakan https://cannakan.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopXr-inLXajXu3QFgKXCXXos4F1oEvScjMKIB5MR5dk8-GJ-F49 DOGDOCTOR 15% off As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciloved and i fell honored with you all in my life With true love comes happiness Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Hulk-Berry- starting to really develop b leaves are much larger and fat!! In 2 weeks we are definitely topping her. RuntZ- slow moving for some reason. 4th set of leaves but still stacking small. I am going to do some bacteria LABS and some SST. 10-27 OK, I added some fulvic/humid acid with Corn SST and Photosynthesis plus. Each one of the plants responded positively. The growth has sped up in development. Okay, all cylinders firing now. Hulk Berry is looking like it’s doing it’s Hulk thing, FINALLY. The leaves are getting larger and it’s trying to touch the lights. Runtz- My 3 little Kings 😂😂 2 of the3 have the same growth structure and speed. The 3rd one is kind of lagging behind. I loaded an app on my iPhone that measures the DLI. As I become more familiar with how it works, I think lighting will be on point at all stages. ( Daily Light Integral) DLI measures the amount of light hitting your plants. Keeping them within a certain range helps them grow to their peak when growing indoors. 10-29 Making some Corn, Lentil, Barley SST’s today. I rinse first using distilled water. I let each soak in a separate jar containing distilled water and 2-3 drops of seaweed/kelp to kick up sprouting faster ( works with seeds as well).

I'm now on vacation for 2 weeks so all photos will be from my security camera. From what I can tell my new clones are greening up and putting out some new growth. My blumats had a runaway on day 3... luckily my neighbor was around and was able to slow the drip rate down on my one plant which was starting to flood my box. It has now stopped dripping and my hope is there will be no more hiccups..I will be watching closely over my vacation. 😅🙏

A couple more weeks to the finish line! The two Apollo in the back have really packed on weight, and the resin is getting frostier and spreading everywhere. The aroma on one of them is inexplicably identical to Nivea cream—no joke. Terpenes never cease to amaze me! The flowering expression on these F1 lines is a pleasure to watch, and there’s noticeably more phenotypic uniformity compared to three non-F1 seeds of the same type. The Milky Way in a 7-liter pot is the Cinderella of the trio—a small devotee in Apollo’s temple. Terpene-wise it’s less captivating, with little flame-shaped buds that are less plump and fleshy, but not at all lacking in potency. A tiny vaporized sample from the little one told me right away she’s not kidding—it sent me into orbit for an entire afternoon. I’m staying focused on low humidity

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. I probably go over 500 grams for the total grow, which would be 1.6 grams per watt. Big success! Consider an SP-3000 for your next light, you won't be disappointed! Check www.mars-hydro.com for the latest discounts! Thank you @MarsHydroLED for letting us try out your light, it made this successful grow possible! Greetings and all the best! Thank you to our friends here, our followers and the whole Growing Diaries community for just being there. Big Hug, Sunshine and BioBuds

July 19: second week of force flowering for Mimosa Shot. She’s doing fine and height wise has mostly caught up to the other plant in the wagon. Defoliated the understory to remove small buds and most fan leaves. Left some big fan leaves down below but took most out to improve airflow. July 21: doing fine. July 22: Foliar spray with Epsom salts and potassium silicate in the morning. The magnesium in the Epsom salts seems to help with the yellowish new growth. July 23: added another loose Scrog net layer this morning. Tying the net to water bottles to open up canopy to sunlight. July 25: watered yesterday with some leftover water from steaming beets for dinner. That water likely had lots of N because beets are high in nitrate and the plants look really green today.

Fabric pot plants lagged a bit. Thursday’s flush fixed runoff to 1.1 EC / 700 PPM. LST and leaf trimming kept things tidy. Temps (24–27°C day, 23–26°C night), humidity (60–68%), VPD (1.1–1.2) were solid. Lights climbed to 55% @ 30cm (480–490 PPFD), CO₂ 550–700 ppm. 😎 Lessons: → Nutrient Overload: High runoff means cut back on feed strength for autos. Go lighter next time! → Flush Fast: Thursday’s flush saved the day. Act quick when EC spikes. 🚿 → LST FTW: Gentle LST helped growth—keep it up for even canopies. 🌱 → Fabric Pot Lag: Fabric pots dry faster, monitor closer to match plastic pots’ pace. 👀 Takeaway: Overfeeding glitch fixed with a flush. Stay vigilant with nutrients and keep LST going! 🚀😉

Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.
