Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Hello everyone, fellow growers! welcome to peaky's gardens I had so much fun growing this little girl in a small pot and with a frame around which I twisted my plant I wanted to test her resistance and my experience

She is loaded right now very heavy and potent yielding plant oh yeah thanks 420 fastbuds I will be getting more of your seeds you rock Guys im so happy I boughy fastbuds seeds It was great to see this second seed pop an amazing grapefruit we did fiming and she eneded up with many colas and many flowers plus super frosty and smelly Also turned purple all buds which to us was a surprise and did not expect that Since last grapefruit was different than this Thanks a lot for all your support Imagine if we had a full spectrum light I think we would be growing trees Honestly we have more than we expected COMING from an Indoor thats nearly located in a tropical climate of 30/33 degrees most of the year and with that said raising temps very hot sometimes very humid thats close to the equator So we have to use A/C all times and maintain humidity levels by spraying all walls to keep it around 45/60% while ac is on remember droping temps so we have to make it as comfortable as possible and that its not easy in this side of the world OR either you need a lot of money which I dont have yet to build a super setup and a separate ROOM with all of that temp and great humidity lvls so yeah we do what we can with our budget We live somwhere where things are pretty much fckd up but it is what it is Hey at least we are safe because it is illegal lol so yeah brothers we have hard times And still with all risk we here doing our best Showing all support Showing im greatful TO find a space like this where We all can share like and Comment And help each other grow better everyday Blessings to you all Keep EM buds coming Happy growing

Was really fun to grow this plant!

This week was explosive! I bumped up the grow nutrients and added the Bud Ignitor at 1/4 strength. I also increased the water amount progressively building up to a half gallon by the end of the week. Mid week I stepped the exhaust fan up and increased the light to about 175w. I started the “new to me” training method as well getting some nice light down into the side shoots and lower canopy. Rings were left on during light cycle and misted with plain water and rings removed before lights out. This week I also dropped the tower fan to the floor and brought the clip fan down a foot above the canopy and am running on the same schedule as the humidifier. Which is set to be on 20min before lights on and off 10 min after lights out. Thanks for stopping by and happy growing!!! 🌞

Gelato #2 has gotten so big that I'm afraid of burning the tips. Gelato #1 is already developin' beautiful round dense buds covered with trichomes.

Well the second week of Veg, and all is proceeding nicely. I have been watching videos on youtube from Weed in a Pot and find they are very informative. I am very happy with the growth so far and will be adding nutes this coming weekend.

Start of week 8 of flowering, day 78 for the plant. She's healthy but the buds are slow to fill out in size, this could be the result of the heat stress she suffered. Other than that, I'm still happy with this plant.

I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

I basically skipped week 17 as there was nothing new except I added some compost tea that I made with come compost, vegetable scraps, a few cedar clippings and neam oil (oh and some fertilizer ... I forget what) Sprayed with neam oil/soap mix

Last week of the apple fritter.. As Im writing this I already harvested it. Ill report back in 2 weeks after the drying and before the curing. This was an amazing journey that its not yet finished. Drying and curing is very important and ill be doing the following: Drying Environment: - Temperature: Maintain between 18-22°C (65-72°F). This prevents terpenes from degrading while slowing the drying process. - Humidity: Aim for 50-60% relative humidity to avoid mold and overly crispy buds. - Airflow: Use a small fan to keep air circulating, but don’t let it blow directly on the buds to avoid uneven drying. - Darkness: Keep the tent as dark as possible. Light can degrade cannabinoids like THC. - Timeframe: Drying typically takes 7-14 days. Stems should snap (not bend) when drying is complete. Curing: - Jar Storage: Once the buds are dry, ill trim them again properly - Humidity Packs: Using Boveda packs (58-62%) to maintain proper curing humidity inside jars. - Burping: For the first 2 weeks, open jars for 10-15 minutes daily to release excess moisture and allow fresh air in. Afterward, reduce burping to once a week for long-term storage. - Curing Time: At least 2 weeks minimum.. Ill comeback soon with final dry weight. Wet was 400g. Keep up the good work galera 💜

FRIDAY 1/18: I flushed Agnes with a gallon of sledgehammer plus calimagic, and fed a half-gallon of nutes to Agatha and Alma. SATURDAY: Foliar fed a few times. Agnes still looks like shit.. SUNDAY: I foliar fed them a few times. I'm gonna transplant Agnes into a 5 gallon pot tomorrow. She must have root problems. I hate transplanting after they've been in flower this long, but I see no way around it if she's gonna produce any decent buds for me. MONDAY: I foliar fed them a few times today. I mixed up some happy frog soil and coco coir at about a 3:1 ratio, then mixed in about 4 cups of perlite and some bat guano, then transplanted Agnes into a 5 gallon fabric pot using that lighter mix to fill the pot. I watered her in with some flower's kiss foliar fert...hope she likes it.🙏

The plant really started going off at this point, I also did some LST and it appears to have helped promote the growth of the other branches. Also gave the plant a half dosage of Fox Farms Grow Big at 10 ml/g every other watering for now. The weather kinda dipped a bit this week, this brought it down to the low 70's at many points often but I brought the plant inside for this thanksgiving weekend. Very excited about the next steps!
