🌸 BlueBerry – Week 6 Flower Report Grower’s Journal | Zamnesia BlueBerry ⸻ 🌱 The Girls This Week Both BlueBerry ladies are now true queens, stretching big, stacking huge colas, and getting so heavy that yo-yos are holding them up. Without support, branches would fall under their own weight, which is a good sign of strong flower density but also a reminder of the importance of plant training. The frost continues to thicken, and the trichomes look spectacular up close, sparkling in photos and videos like tiny glass forests. ⸻ ⚠️ Trouble in Paradise – Bud Rot But with big flowers also come risks. This week, Bud Rot (Botrytis cinerea) showed up on BlueBerry #2. • Conditions: High humidity (65%+, sometimes higher) combined with dense flowers created the perfect environment for rot. • Detection: Early spotting saved the plant. It thrives in humid, poorly ventilated conditions, especially inside large dense colas where moisture can hide. How to prevent: • Keep humidity lower during flower (ideally 40–50%). • Maintain constant airflow across and through the canopy. • Defoliate strategically to open airflow inside dense plants. • Avoid watering late in the cycle to reduce night-time moisture. What to do if it appears: • Act quickly. Remove all affected buds immediately. • Sterilize scissors/tools between cuts to avoid spreading spores. • Keep monitoring daily — once it appears, it can spread fast. Bud Rot is every grower’s nightmare, but also one of the most important lessons in environmental balance. ⸻ 💡 Lessons Learned (and Moving Forward) This 8x8 setup is teaching us a lot. For the next run, I’ll be redesigning the airflow system entirely to prevent these issues. For now, the plants are still thriving, and catching the rot early means we can continue with this grow. Big flowers are a blessing, but they require serious air control. —SETUP— .BOSSLED LED 1800W full spectrum, real power consumption is +-250W. .Grow space 60X100X200(a simple shower box. .AN nutes and other simple additives. .Grow medium is 60% peat, 30% perlite, 10% organic correction(worm castings), 5 gallon fabric pots(18l). —BRIEF— Hi there, I have tried already done this genetic outdoors, in poor lighting and a general purpose nute from Neudorff, yielded 25g dry, in 3gallon pots same medium. So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare. —GERMINATION— My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max. From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. If you are a bit on the impatient side seen the tap root is advisable so you see some movement before planting. Lol! —ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS . QUICK ONE . INFO — Chose this strain because is basic and I have to travel for a month soon, and someone else is going to take care for this time. :) Most of our autoflowering feminized strains are easy to grow. This one, however, is so easy to grow that we had to call it Easy Bud. Easy Bud is very similar to the autoflowering strain White Dwarf. Seedlings look a bit odd, this one with a purple center, let's give her some days in and see what happens next.

Okay so greedy finally decided to show me she’s a girl - I’m beyond chuffed ngl. She’s ready for the flip soon but I still have two others playing catch up so she’s gonna be stuck vegging for another couple weeks. I feel pretty lucky I don’t know wether these are just super bag seeds but I’ve had no issues with them considering they’re in my closet and I’ve been pretty much just doing everything by eye without the proper equipment. Happy days✌️

week 9 was a good week I watch my pollen sacks grow into beautiful pods cant wait to use it plant doing pretty good health and strong

Well, another week has passed and the end of the second week has come and the pistils have already shown themselves and I continue watering with top crop bloom, first time testing this fertilizer and I'm only using two of them, top veg and top bloom, next cycle I'm going to use General Hydroponics fertilizers because I have a friend who uses them and he's having great results, I still want to talk to my friends about this strain because I think it hasn't grown as it should, but anyway we're studying to improve ourselves for the next ones, the rest is all experience for the next ones it grows. =D

Hi people! Our little killer was left without a head)) well, okay))) now she has 8 of them!)) Maybe I will subject all the branches to another topping .. have not decided yet ..

09/26/2020 She is almost done, I gave her a little trim most trichomes are milky still some clear I think about a week before she is done. Hope she gets fat!

Switching to 12-12 this week. Getting new lights next week. I wrote more comments but i closed it by mistake.

This week #2 has fattened up a fair bit. Earlier in the week I tried a technique called backbuilding which I never heard of before which involves snipping of the very top of bud growth late in flower to encourage fat buds rather than stretchy ones. Left a couple as they were to compare. I am giving this one plain water from now till the end. #1 is progressing. The bottom of the plant has totally disappeared haha, hopefully the GHE nutes will save the top. Due to lacking nitrogen during its extended veg period which I wasn't planning for; thought it would start flowering anytime! Looks a lot more frosty than #2 did at this point. Should be a good harvest none the less considering how it has had the top cut off and the deficiencies.

Ahhrrrrrggggghhhh PH imbalances! Don't panic. We got this. After a few theories and a bunch of research what I originally thought was light stress then a Cal Mag deficiency. Then I saw leaf damage and thought of Thrips. Wrong wrong and wronger. Turns out the soil PH is all out if wack. By which I mean waaaaaay too high. Like almost 8. That's what I get for not thinking PH was nOT tHaT BiG a dEaL. Now equipped with my PH and TDS meters and a little PH up and PH Down from Standard Hydroponics we can get thing back into balance. Lots of leaf growth this week. Looks like flowering is right around the corner. This will probably be the last week I'll feed her Grow Girls Grow from DSN and switch to Bloom Baby Bloom next week. I've also done some defoliation this week to get light to some of the bud sites. Again I had no idea LST was this powerful, she's gonna have such pretty flowers Looking forward to Bloom 🌹🚀🌻😎

This grow is on it’s last lap 🏁 These are by far the most beautiful buds i have grown and would definitely recommend fast buds genetics to anyone. Can’t wait to try these now. Last week i said i was starting the flush but decided to push it back to this week so they only have 1-2 weeks left Will be checking the trichomes daily Let me know what you guys think so far👌🏾🤞🏾

Best strain ever she grow super fast and smell amazing she flowering very fast 7 week bloom and she is Ready Buds growing very fast and everyday going ahe get darker on purple and fan leaves absolutely joy to grow this strain I can't get inoff of it

Buds getting big. Very good sweet smell. Remembers a little bit the Radical Juice smell.
