Ok, so it's slowly getting thicker and frostier. At week seven my girl could be ready in anywhere from two weeks to four weeks more. The light was dropped closer to the top of the canopy. I decided to try 15 cm of distance, as well four 50W LEDs are not as powerful as the 600W HID or LED panels that are usually used in grow tents. I will of course keep an eye for signs of light and heat stress, but I suspect that won't be a problem. Update Day 89. Today I decided to turn the plant around to see the back colas and their growth. Then I found some mites under the leaves after examining weird spots in a couple of leaves. It seems to me that there was not enough airflow to deter the mites from making home in the back leaves, when compared to the front leaves of my plant. Lesson learnt, rotate plant often, ensure good and even airflow. I didn't find any webs beside a really small one seen on the video (most affected leaf). So, I think I found them mites early. I only found this kind of damage on very few leaves, and each leave contained less than 8 mites (at least that I could see) and a couple of eggs. So it seems that paying close attention to my leaves saved me from an out of control infestation. Anyhow... I removed all of the leaves that had even a single mite, or a single mark of discoloration. Also, I disinfected the grow tent, top of soil and lower part of the branches by spraying them with a 1/4 tbsp of bleach per liter of water. After that was completely dry, I mixed one part rubbing alcohol with 9 parts water and misted both sides of the leaves and even the buds directly (ethanol evaporates easily, so there shouldn't be residues left after it dries completely). Prevention is key, and some aspects I could've considered before are: 1. not grow any other plant next to my cannabis 2. Don't come into my indoor growtent after tending my outdoor plants. 3. Ensure even and plenty airflow. So, I attacked back strongly. I cut more leaves than those that showed damage, to increase airflow. I will be on the watch for pests and will rotate my plant often, as well as spraying a few times every week, just to make sure they don't come back. I also am going to build a kind of metal wire cage to separate the colas further and make it harder for any pest to spread. Its only my second grow, but from what I've read online about mites, it's way more costly (time and money) to deal with an infestation than to strike them hard early. I guess that specially now that I noticed them before they even made webs. Look closely at your girls growbros ! Update day 90. So this morning I. Becker the trichomes and they seem to have gotten more cloudy. I am not an expert at that, but they are starting to be fewer clear and more milky. I will keep an eye on them, but it think harvest might be here very soon, probably closer to the 9 week mark than to the 12 week one (I'm about to finish the 7th week)...

Ended the last week of veg going into flower!! Excited never grown photoperiods! Second grow ever! Sprayed them down one last time with NEEM oil. Top dressed w/ elemental, foundation, and bloom from Roots Organic’s. The plants at the bottom that you saw are Dj Short Newberry.

Her green still not were i want so i am keeping the nutrispray for a few days more at least until i like the colors better, apart from that she is growing great actually, wen looking at last week defoliation and now , i mean lol Sorry so short update i will keep updating among this week <3 <3 <3 Decided to connect my spider-farmer to increase my PPFD, i love this MARSHYDRO TSW2000 but in my humble opinion a 4x4 needs a bit more PPFD Power wen in flower mode bringing up my average PPFD to 1000 umol/m2/s lets see if she likes the idea or not. And like i suspected she did like more light and the color is changing bringing her green colors back to normal, did a leaf inspection just in case and posted some photos of my under leaf microscopic view, all good by the way lol , with this meaning that next week i will provably stop Nutrispray since i don't like so very much to apply any type of foliar during flower. And As i suspected i have an bug infection lol freaking trips found them way in to my closets, them a i dont know if mites, but i have something in this closet that webs and i cant find it RRR, i guess its part of the game, just been long long long time since i encounter any situations like this, and that is why its happening, i got way to comfortable and lazy on my IPM. This is one of the reasons why is so important to checking in a microscopic way under leafs etc Im ordering a bunch of beneficial insects , traps etc and going in from all sides lol non so ever she is looking great, not the best color leafs i know , but she is moving fast and furious . Four of five plants will ba harvested right after taking those photos. Strawberry Cough will stay longer - as long as I can keep her alive - she already lost most of leaves but she is far from being ready. She now have whole tent for herself 😂 I need to give her another ScrOG net - she is starting to bulk and already colas are too big to stay vertical by themselves. 160 days of life harvested on day 63 of flower. I don’t have photos of her vegging but she started off great. About two weeks in, she started having some major issues. Her leaves started atrophying, curling up at the borders, growing 3 finger leaves, all new growth was deformed and twisted and growth in general almost stopped completely, to what I suspect was from broad mites. These fuckers are nasty! I dm’d my local grow shop and tried out some Neem Oil. I diluted it in water like they recommended and sprayed that baby every day for one week, then every other day the following week, then down to once a week. I sprayed her leaves stem and surface of the soil. I also cleaned the entire grow space with some bleach solution. Doing this allowed her to really bounce back, growth started to take off again! So I vegged for a few more weeks and trained her as much as I could to keep her uniform but short, she responded well to this. During flower, she was very happy. I had two main issues during this time, one was being too hot in Nitrogen and a week of very hot temperatures which burned her a slight bit, although she didn’t seem to mind much. I also could’ve continued a once a week spray of Neem oil because I think they might’ve started to come back on the lower and younger leaves that weren’t getting much light. Overall it was a dope grow and hope to do better on the next one!

Good week. One Mimosa cake is huge others nice .lots of buds sites .strong delicious smell. Plants are slower than the other strains I'm growing but might turn out big .

Starting to really take off in length since her 2nd feeding. I've been so far alternating between plain ph'd water and feeding every 3-4 days, moving on to week 5 feeding schedule in the coming days. This girl definitely smells a bit more than my first grow (great white auto) and I like that 😍 I'm wondering when I should start to defoliate a bit....

Start of Wk 8 of Flower 😎 I dropped nutes down continually over the past week by topping Blumat Rez with plain RO daily. Today, I changed out to Flawless Finish + RO @ pH 6.1. Trichomes about 70% cloudy and a few Amber here and there.

2nd week of flowering, just showed the sex almost 80% of the plants. Pruning time, alga bloom time. Try to solve the height problem betweem the using some plates.

12th week. I removed some unwanted yellow leaves. I really like this plant, nothing changed, watering happens the same way and same amount of water. I am so excited. Really nice flowers on it and stinky like citrus smell and sweet very well coated with THC. Beautiful plant and really short.😅 I just checked the trichomes and they are still immatured, not even milky. Very strong smell and big buds. Beautifully coated with THC everywhere. I love this plant. Fan leaves started getting yellow as well. I think it is 4 weeks more approximately to be finished. I removed some fan leaves the biggest ones as it started turning yellow because the plants takes the energy out of it. Better airflow and more light to the flowers, and good tea for me from the leaves 🥂🤪😇 I also set the lamp distance to be 20 cm. End of the week Purple Punch is 43 cm.
