So we first placed a layer of those 1 cm thick "rubberized" floors that are used for gyms, they are easily found on Amazon and are very useful for insulation. Then a heated resistance mat and then the closed propagator on top. Inside with our seedlings and the light on at minimum 20% we reached 24 degrees, not bad in fact the germination is proceeding very well. 100% opening of the seeds in water and almost all of them are opening in our biodegradable peat pots. ----- Our Green Crack F1 Hybrid Auto were born really quickly. Variété parfaite pour les débutants. Les plantes sont très résistantes aux chocs de température et d'humidité. Elles donnent des rendements satisfaisants et un goût agréable. La runtz a une odeur très sucrée, presque comme un gâteau, je n'avais jamais senti une plante avec une odeur pareille, c'est très agréable. Les plants étaient tous petit, 50 centimètres environ, et n'avaient pas beaucoup d'odeur pendant la floraison, c'est parfait si vous voulez être discret. Concernant les effets, on voit bien que c'est une souche 50% sativa 50% indica. Au début les effets sont euphorisants, elle provoque des rires, mais par la suite et donne un bon effet analgésique, parfait pour aller dormir, je n'ai pas trop de flow de pensé avec et c'est très agréable pour se détendre. J'ai obtenu 34g et 45g sachant que j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes.

So far all is well. Left plant is looking great still. Right plant is still the same as it was, kinda "off." I cut the top off the main cola due to light burn. There's just no way that the plants energy it was directing to it was being used well. I'd rather it go to the rest of the plant because there's just no way that initial top was going to produce anything. It was gnarled. I've also noticed something odd going on with a couple of the buds on the stressed (purple) plant. I posted one of the pics in the pics for this weeks update. Looks kinda like bud rot to me but this is also my first grow so I could be wrong. It looks like it's only affecting the pistils. I may ask a question in the question forum just to be sure. It's odd though because conditions in the tent seem to be too dry maybe for bud rot (averaging in the 50-60% RH range and there is plenty of air circulation in that part of the tent. I'm thinking it could either be the plant negatively reacting to me cutting the main top off the other day or it's just the fact that due to the plant being stressed out for the entire grow that it's lost resistance to things like bud rot, etc.. essentially, I'm not sure at all lol.. Both plants are already showing a good amount of trichome production as the plants have almost switched from stretch flowering phase to pure on flowering/bulking phase. I can't wait to see the buds really start to mature and grow and get stinky. Carbon filter so far is working flawlessly. A week ago I was thinking it wasn't keeping up because when I'd come home from work I could smell pot but it turns out it was just my cannabutter supplies that I left out lol. D'oh. I've also been monitoring conditions in my basement over the past few weeks and have noticed that rain or no rain, the conditions down there are an average 66 degrees and 60-64% RH. With my dehumidifier if the conditions down there remain in that range, I should be able to achieve perfectly optimal drying conditions for when I harvest in 4-6 weeks or so. :) I am having a blast so far and can't wait to harvest and then really apply what I've learned online from youtube, here and reddit combined with my hands on experience from this grow to really fill out the canopy next time and also ensure both plants are the same height for some great yield. I'll probably mainline 2-3 plants for my next grow. I also want to eventually get into building my own soil and amendments but for now I'm just focusing on not learning & applying too many things at once. I just know that at some time I'd like to switch from synthetic nutrients to organic. I'm hooked for life to growing though!

The plant in front is still looking ugly as always haha, the buds are small, they develope really slowly, the leafs look like they never had any (N)itrogen lol, had this from the start. Whatever I did about it, it never changed into a better plant. Some people talk about bad genetics, but lets keep that in between. I'm already glad these are indica's and kushes, so they can stand the cold better then a sativa kind. Sativas would already been full of budrot, molts and stopped flowering. However, the plant behind it goes really well with the colds, as expected it even got nice collors, Most of the times color will show at colder climates. I used to trick my inside plants into bud discoloration but the outside weather did it for me. I gave them less nutrients, because i want them to get it from the soil( old nutrients) and from the leafs. Because of this, the leafs have now many signs of deficiency/discoloration. They really look like other plants/trees in the autumn. It was a wise choice of me to keep adding enzymen because when it gets colder, many enzymatic proceses are slowed down or even stopped. Therefore my plants kept drinking, flowering. This was the end of week 7 of flowering. Might havest them at the end of week 8, but lets see how it goes. 9 weeks of flowering would be my maximum but I'm 80% sure i will harvest them at the end of week 8. So again, they gained beautifull colors( the pictures are ugly, will make better ones next week, they look better in real), bigger size buds and now even got decent flowers instead of pistels with leafs like most outside grows LOL.

Have lights on sunrise sunset. The been testing out best high intensity lighting schedule. Wish I had c02 to add into the tent. Plants were getting 1600-1800 par for 3 hours a day. I noticed they were getting slight tip burn so I lessened the light intensity a little bit and extended the peak sunlight from 4 to 6 hours. Now they get 1300-1400 par for 6 hours a day. They are getting really good air flow, humidity, temperature. I've been replacing the water every 2 days now and topping off almost every day. Just switched the ph from 5.8 to 6.5. I think that's recommended for flowering. Currently they get 2200EC I use ro water. They get 250ec of cal/mag. 400ec of lotus boost and 1400-1600ec lotus Bloom

This week has seen a lot of bushing out. The Banana Kush has certainly found its legs and taken to flower like. Duck to water. Each day tucking leaves under the net but starting to see bud sites slowly forming.
