Things are moving forward. My ladies seem to be doing well. “Josefine” is slowing down a bit, but still looks healthy. I took a few more chopsticks to help against the wind. But I can remove that now.

Candy kush express #3 should be done by the end of this month and she's chunking up very nice and the smell coming from her is like nothing I've grown before it's wild!! Candy kush #1 is loving the foop bloom and is almost as tall as my gp x bkp which is like 6 weeks older 😅 😳 amazing growth with this strain. Candy kush #2 is growing super unruly lol 😆 branches growing every which way going to be a unique looking plant when all is said and done,I would seriously recommend this strain for anybody growing outdoors ,I'll be ordering a 10 pack for next season(depending on the smoke,which I already know is going to be fire 🔥) I was forced to move all 3 plants out in front of my house because the sun is slowly moving back behind the trees later and later as these fall weeks move foward but my front yard stays lit up from around 930am-730pm luckily or I'd be screwed

Part 1 of a video project I give myself for this run. And wow ,I'm absolutely loving this grow. The girls are preforming brilliantly with the training, although the Forbidden Runtz excelled with LST more so then the StrawNana, she is more bushy and compact, which made it quite tight in the 2x2 grow tent, but not overcrowded. I'm just a grower, who just loves growing. My passion was vegetable gardening, but living arrangements are different now and can no longer have a garden..... but it has opened up the possibility of indoor cannabis growing which wasn't a option for me before. My medium is a make up of reamended soil from my last run, to make my 25% supersoil base, 65% complete organic compost and topped off with 10% light seedling soil. I also fed a compost extraction once a week from WEEK 5 and they always responded brilliantly. I used the chop and drop technique when I defoliated which my worms seem to love and also used the compost feed for my compost extraction as a mulch layer every week after the feed, which covered the defoliated leaves. Week 3 is here This one is looking weird, but I had temperature problems in the night plus she is on a 12/12 because she shares a room with 3 photoperiods I topped her two days ago and the two tops are showing I fixed the heat problem and will switch the light cycle as soon as the photoperiods are done. 🌿 Grow Diary – Tag 84 | Blütetag 24 „Radikaler Haarschnitt, erste Harzschicht … und die Schädlingspolizei dreht wieder ihre Runden“ Diese Woche war klar: Schere raus – untenrum einmal Kernsanierung. Die Ladies wurden ordentlich gelollipopped und ich hab wirklich nicht gekleckert. Der Eimer war am Ende randvoll mit Schnittresten. Alles, was unten nur Energie klaut oder im Schatten gammelt, ist beinahe konsequent rausgeflogen. Ab jetzt geht die komplette Kraft nur noch in die Tops. Die Kush hat mir dabei kurz den Puls hochgetrieben. Etwas instabil im Aufbau, beim Schneiden halb auseinandergefallen – ich durfte erstmal wieder puzzeln, welche Triebe ich eigentlich behalten wollte. Kurz Zelt-Chaos … aber wieder eingefangen. 😄 📏 Höhe & Stabilität Der Stretch ist jetzt offiziell vorbei. Endhöhe: ca. 1,10 Meter – besser hätte es fast nicht laufen können fürs Setup. Viel höher und wir hätten Licht-Tetris spielen müssen. Zur Stabilisierung hängen jetzt überall Pflanzen-Jojos. Diese kleinen Rollen mit Nylonschnur, die die Äste sanft hochziehen und schwere Buds stützen. Schön gleichmäßiges Blätterdach, nichts kippt weg, alles entspannt. Echt kleine Gamechanger. 🌸 Blütenentwicklung Jetzt startet die eigentliche Show: Buds stapeln sich sichtbar erste Trichome / Harzbildung leichter, süßer Duft im Zelt Man merkt richtig: 👉 Produktionsmodus aktiviert. Jeden Tag ein bisschen frostiger. Ernährung & Feintuning Allerdings zeigen sie langsam klar: 👉 Phosphor- & Kaliumhunger Die BioTabs-Tabletten waren top für den Start, aber in der intensiven Blütephase einfach etwas zu träge. Plan: Mikroben pushen → Bodenleben aktivieren moderat PK nachdüngen → Blütenaufbau unterstützen Ein kleiner Schub, damit die Buds richtig Masse machen. 🐛 Reality Check: Nervensägen-Alarm Und ja … natürlich gibt’s auch die weniger glamouröse Seite des Grows. Tripse und Trauermücken zum Beispiel. Doppelt hält leider nicht besser. 😅 Tripse → silbrige Fraßspuren auf den Blättern Trauermücken → kleine schwarze Nervflieger über der Erde Nichts Dramatisches, aber einfach maximal lästig. So dieses typische: „Könnt ihr bitte einfach verschwinden?“ Werden natürlich beobachtet und in Schach gehalten – aber eingeladen war hier definitiv keiner. ✅ Wochenfazit Lollipopping erledigt ✔️ Stretch durch ✔️ Höhe perfekt bei 1,10 m ✔️ Jojos stabilisieren alles ✔️ Harz & Buds starten durch ✔️ Tripse nerven ✔️ Trauermücken nerven leider genauso ✔️ Unterm Strich trotzdem: richtig guter Fortschritt. Grüne Grüße & happy growing allerseits Rocko 🌿✂️ 🌿 Grow Diary – Day 84 | Flowering Day 24 “Heavy haircut week, first frost… and pests being annoying as hell” This week had one clear mission: Scissors out – clean up everything below the canopy. The ladies got a proper lollipopping session, and I definitely didn’t go easy on them. By the end, the bucket was completely full of cuttings. Everything down low that only steals energy or sits in the shade had to go. From now on, all power goes straight into the tops. The Kush caused a bit of drama though. She’s slightly unstable structurally and basically fell apart while pruning, so I had to puzzle together which shoots I originally wanted to keep. Short chaos in the tent… but fixed. 😄 📏 Height & Support Stretch is now officially over – finally. Final height: around 1.10 meters, which is pretty much perfect for the tent. Any taller and we’d be fighting the lights. To keep everything stable, I installed plant yo-yos everywhere – those retractable supports with nylon strings. They gently pull branches upward, support heavy buds, and keep the canopy nice and even. Small tools, big impact. 🌸 Flower Progress Now the fun part really starts. You can see it every day: buds stacking up first visible trichomes/resin light sweet smell filling the tent That moment when you open the zipper and think: 👉 “Alright… production mode activated.” Each day gets a little frostier. Nutrition & Adjustments What’s becoming obvious now: 👉 early phosphorus and potassium deficiencies The BioTabs tablets worked great so far, but during heavy flowering they’re simply a bit too slow. So the plan: add microbes → boost soil life moderate PK supplementation → support bud building Just a small extra push so the flowers can really bulk up. 🐛 Reality Check: Pest Squad And of course… it wouldn’t be a real grow without some annoying visitors. Thrips AND fungus gnats. Double trouble. 😅 Thrips → those classic silver streaks on the leaves Fungus gnats → tiny black flies hovering around the soil Nothing catastrophic, but seriously annoying. That constant “can you guys just leave already?” feeling. They’re under control and being monitored closely — but yeah… nobody invited them. ✅ Weekly Summary Lollipopping done ✔️ Stretch finished ✔️ Height dialed in at 1.10 m ✔️ Yo-yos supporting branches ✔️ Buds & resin starting strong ✔️ Thrips annoying ✔️ Fungus gnats annoying too ✔️ Overall, still very happy with the progress. Big week! I got my new EarthBoxes and a bunch of goodies. I picked up the Probiotic Farmer's Alliance kit from BuildASoil, so I also got some EM-1, Kashi Blend, dolomite lime and Malibu compost. Alongside that I picked up Colorado Worm Compost (vermicompost), Gnarley Barley (malted barley, corn and hemp) and Craft Blend (aprox 3-5-2 organic mix). Unfortunately there was a bag of soil missing, so I ended up using my own mix though I am somewhat scared of it being too clay-heavy for the SIP. I inoculated with EM-1 and began fermenting a batch of activated EM-1 to make the bottle last longer. It looks about a week from LST, after that I hope to set up a two-tier SCROG setup and begin growing the bushes. I will begin spraying AEM-1/EM-FPE/EM-5 alternatively once a week for IPM, I will try to avoid using neem this round (unless I find this approach lacking). I also brewed a batch of EM-FPE with aloe that smells incredible, I can't wait to give it a go.
