Week 5 flowering for our gorilla cookies from fastbuds 420! The buds are starting to get fatter day by day, we continue with our food program. This week again we gave sugar shot, sticky fingers, bloom booster, silica, amino and master root all from xpert nutrients. All good at the moment 🤗

These clones were mixed up & are either Orange sherbet or Tropicana cookies or they could be both! Unfortunately from experience growing them before they are very hard to tell apart untill late flowering. Originally grown in DWC ,all 3 got root rot at one stage Due to extremely high temps around 35°c. Had them in a 4x8 tent, running a 6 Inch adjustable speed exhaust fan which couldn't get temps lower than 33°c in our summer heat of 40°c days & nights! Moved back into 4x4, fan works good in this size tent reduces temps 28° to 31° max. Had to cut out rotten roots on back 2 plants & put them back into veg for 2 weeks until they came good, I also took them out of DWC & put them into recirculating hydro & put back into flower. Since then they have really taken off & are very healthy & lush. The 3rd plant at the front is 4 weeks into flower this one also got root rot at a different time, but I left this one in flower. I trimmed the root rot out & have had some issues with her, I also changed her from DWC to recirculating hydro as it's more forgiving in the heat & it's how I've always grown until recently doing DWC without problems in the past. All the bigger shade leaves have turned yellow, not sure if it's still something to do with root rot or a deficiency of some sort. Just trying to get this one over the line at this point 🤞🙏 increased light wattage from 480 to 730watts running 2 viper spectra lights (250watt) inside my Mars Hydro FC-E 4800.

Muy resinosas se ven y las hojas de ambas cambian ya de color, pienso que el martes o miércoles les cambiare la solución, solo a mitad con agua del grifo y flashclean x 2 días y después cosecharé si todo va bien. Hoy vi que los tricomas de Critical están un poco más adelantados que Runtz, el problema es que no quiero pasar las Critical ni adelantar las Runtz. Y estoy obligado a cocecharlas juntas. Se ven tan lindas que me da pena tener que cortarlas...

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Leaves are filling out more after the defoliation. Some plants are showing difficulties from the cold root zones. No nug growth shown yet.

3/04 to 3/10 Veg Days 15 to 21 Week 3 Noticed some deformity on a few of the latest leaves. Since I topped on Day 21 and plan to add nutes this week, Im hoping it grows out of it. Feed this week was 2.5 cups of 6.3ph RO water twice with 4 days between and 4 days after the last feed; next feed is tomorrow. (feed this week is NOT the recipe above, that starts after first topping) Feed plan next week will keep the same amounts of 2.5 cups of water with about 4 days between feeds. However, this week will introduce my Veg Concentrate Recipe (recipe above). I still want to see the water run through, so if I need to use more than 2.5 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefuly spreading the roots out while doing it.

Day 39 to 46 of flower Basically the girls are on autopilot, with the autopots and Gaia green there really isn't much to do, both methods are super user friendly and the basic needs that need to be meet are just ph water in the reservoir every couple days and then watch them stack buds on top of buds...Occasionally I move a branch over to another square in the net to make room but Basically after the last top feeding it's just watch and weight, pun intended....

Arrancamos este nuevo cultivo con una variedad buenísima. Vamos en la primera semana después de que germinaron, solo regando un poco y manteniendo el ambiente bien húmedo. Por ahora las tengo dentro de un propagador, y más adelante voy a preparar un buen sustrato para poder trasplantarlas bien.

Well I accomplished what i had set out to do, I have a IBL "In bread line " S1 feminized pile of seeds and a little bit of feminized pollen to chuck around and make a Frankenstein strain of my own. I really have to start my grows earlier to beat the heat in SoCal at the end it was to hot in the tent I wanted to go an extra week for the seeds to mature but I have more than enough ripe ones. this grow was more of an experiment that a controlled by the numbers operation. but I'm happy I got what I was looking for. cheers GD community Addendum so after a few weeks and more deseeding I took the 150g of popcorn buds and all the shake from the seeded buds about another 150g and made some bubble hash. I used the T check meter and this is on average 10% THCa considering the plant spent most of its energy and resources making seeds I am not surprised by its low THC level. I will hang on to the beans for now and the next round will be some AUTO's maybe at the first of the year when its cooler. total hash in grams 30g the math seems to work out on the return of 300g 10% is 30g there were 2 hash balls no pictured weighing 6g total. 25micron 73 and 120 might press the 120 and the 25 gonna save the 73 for special occasions. be safe all until next time.

Not too too much to report... Kind of on Auto Pilot really until the end... The broken top is FINE, and it's looking GREAT man!! I'm sure we're going to get a solid yield... :)

Little late on the upload of the diary. She has made day 56 with no real issues. Minor leaf damage from a few pests. The weather has been mostly sunny with 2 days of rain. Purple hues are starting to show up in the buds!😍

Transplanted and separated into a 4x8 and 5x5 started to get deficiencies I think either cal or mag maybe even a little of both I flushed the soil in case ph was off in the soil then a couple had nitrogen deficiency so I gave them a tea last night will see how they look tonight when I’m off work once they are healthy I’ll flip to flower

She’s growing well and finally starting to grow out of her lil leaf mutation at the beginning.
