D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room.

- RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF
D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature.

- water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each
- run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush

D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days.

D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet.

D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky.

D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches.

D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong.

Permanent marker the 1st thing that comes to mind when I think about these seedlings is the stem out of all 12 seedlings I have going in the tent the 2 Permanent Marker seedlings stems are think when the fan blows on them they don't sway at all. 1 of the 2 seedling has some interesting wide leaves
Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet.
I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon
At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger

I turned the autopots on Monday and the plants are really thriving. They are growing super fast and the soil mix seems to be performing well. They have just had pH 6.4 water from the water reservoir. I have tied and bent them twice since Monday but they bouce back so fast. I have also turned in th airdomes , buried at the bottom of the pots this week, so let's see what they can do. Plenty of defoliation to expose lower branches , it always amazes me how quick the removed leaves are replaced by little tops.
Day two flower more pictures added. Loads of defoliating this week and tied them all down again yesterday.

Aktueller Zustand der Pflanze (siehe Bild):
Die Pflanze präsentiert sich aktuell in einem hervorragenden Zustand und entwickelt sich prächtig. Trotz der Herausforderungen, die wir im Laufe dieses Grows hatten, sind die Ergebnisse mehr als ermutigend.
* Wuchsform: Die Pflanze hat sich sehr buschig und kompakt entwickelt, mit einer Vielzahl von gut ausgebildeten Seitentrieben, die alle dicht mit Blüten besetzt sind. Dies deutet auf eine exzellente Lichtausnutzung und eine gelungene Verzweigung hin, wahrscheinlich durch gezieltes Training in der Vegetationsphase.
* Blütenqualität: Die Buds sind auffallend dicht und zeigen eine beeindruckende Harzproduktion. Die Trichome sind bereits deutlich sichtbar und glänzen, was auf eine hohe Potenz und Aromaentwicklung hindeutet. Die Stigmen (Blütenhärchen) sind größtenteils bernsteinfarben verfärbt, was auf eine fortgeschrittene Reifephase hinweist und die bevorstehende Ernte ankündigt.
* Blattgesundheit: Die Blätter sind weiterhin größtenteils grün und vital. Einige der größeren Fächerblätter im unteren Bereich zeigen die für die späte Blütephase typischen Vergilbungen, da die Pflanze ihre letzten Energiereserven in die Blütenbildung umlagert. Dies ist ein natürlicher Prozess und kein Anzeichen für akute Mängel in diesem Stadium.
Herausforderungen und Erkenntnisse aus diesem Grow:
Wir hatten im Laufe dieses Durchgangs mit einer Volatilität des pH-Wertes zu kämpfen, die zeitweise nur schwer zu stabilisieren war. Dies führte zu der Notwendigkeit, den pH-Wert der Nährlösung häufiger anzupassen.
Nach genauerer Beobachtung wurde die Hauptursache für diese pH-Schwankungen identifiziert: Algenbildung auf der Oberfläche der Steinwolle. Diese Algen konkurrierten nicht nur um Nährstoffe, sondern trugen auch maßgeblich zu den instabilen pH-Werten bei.
Learnings für den nächsten Grow:
Um die Algenbildung und damit die pH-Problematik zukünftig zu vermeiden, sind folgende Maßnahmen geplant:
* Reduzierung der Steinwollwürfel-Größe: Es werden kleinere Steinwollwürfel für die Keimung und Startphase verwendet.
* Einsatz von mehr Tonkugeln (Leca): Die Steinwollwürfel werden im nächsten Grow deutlich besser mit Tonkugeln abgedeckt, um die Oberfläche vollständig vor Licht zu schützen. Dies wird die Algenbildung effektiv unterbinden und somit zu einem stabileren pH-Wert beitragen.
Ausblick:
Trotz der aufgetretenen Schwierigkeiten bin ich mit dem aktuellen Zustand der Pflanze äußerst zufrieden. Sie ist ein starkes Beispiel dafür, wie widerstandsfähig diese Pflanzen sein können, wenn die Grundversorgung stimmt und auf Probleme reagiert wird. Ich freue mich auf die bevorstehende Ernte und bin gespannt auf die Qualität des Endprodukts.

So this grow came to a finshed but I had a. Few issues that’s held me up from finishing up the diary, but in due time I will reupload it all in order soon. But over all I will also update with a final weigh in of each strain produced so stay tuned 🤙🏻🔥

6 Days into week 4, all looking great, update a little early but going out of town. Calyx are getting bigger, pistils
popping up everywhere drinking about 6 liters a week.

3 days into week #5 day 3 she took 4 liters today she is drinking plenty of water! next week will topdress with 4-9-3

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is.
So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product.
It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic.
Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans.
So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals.
In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds.
I probably go over 500 grams for the total grow, which would be 1.6 grams per watt. Big success!

Im coming closer to the ✂️ time seriosly on this one homos and homies , now i tried some pics as close as my phone allows to show a more realistic approach of how plants are evolving besides al the self inflicted plagues by being a cheap bastard, slight light and nutrients burn , i can wait to the plants mature while im searching for the 🕵️♂️to check if thricome ratio should be mostly amber , so i tried some close ups to show you. The pics shows a bit of light bleach on the already damaged leaved yet the buds are full of hate and resin , that can be checked on previous week, the smell on santa bilbo evolved to sweet lemon juice, while g13 smells like earth , cream and synthetic berries ( like sour candy), Santa Bilbo is louder in terms of pressence and projection, while most g13 became purple bitches cosplays of purple bitch, my favorite russian cosplayer.🇷🇺😇💗
Im killing it with hesi boost, top candy and citric acid(ph regulation, clean roots ) as all they can be used on the final stage, and these lil potions don't damage their asses as they are basically different forms of sugars with a modest amount of pk , i think there is no more time for these hoes rather than this or maybe another week. They will be sacrificed in a global warming postpandemic chilean spring solstice.
What about the light's shit show , they show that a mainly 4000k & 6500k* spectrum mix (intentional as stated on the week i changed to 12/12 ) can give big fat stinky buds, so i expect that people that reach this journal and doesn't have the mediums or opportunity to proper growing supplies still can start with less and get some green , as weed is still controversial in a hell lot of countries, or places where high end technology is not on the local market yet.

Growth is just going amazing. Both phenos are doing just astounding. I'm overall delighted with these genetics.
Days 35-37
Growth is going amazing as you can see. When preflower stops. I'll move it under a 300w light from mars-hydro. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I have moved over to giving bloom now. She is showing light mag issue so I added Xpert Nutrients Calmag and have been feeding the 20L pot without it fully drying up. I love soil growing.
Day 38-39
She's pushing on at an alarming rate. I did not plan for it to be these big. They're going to get 50-100% bigger. So, it's not necessarily their size now. But in 3 weeks. I need to start using IR in my flower tent to push my fems into high gear. Adding 2hrs of extra light should easily cut days to a week depending where they are. Got to also becareful as if I add IR to anything in preflower it'll stretch like crazy. So, im at least 5 days or so before my flower tent will have no preflowering plants just all girls into heavy flower. This plant will STAY away from any IR 730nm for at least another 2-3 weeks. So, she'll do all her preflower under the p1000, which will be an issue in itself.
Day 40-42
Took her down to separate her as they're far to close, to big and too many shoots not to do anything will only set the mid-lower parts back weeks during the flower process. I did do some very very light lollipopping at the very ends. The shoots were the smallest. And removed their fans obviously. That's the only defol I've done more or less over this ENTIRE grow. Which is very rare for me not to remove some leaves. With autos, you really shouldn't. Some can take it & still do well. But left alone. And good lighting/airflow throughout the plants. Has really made a huge difference. I separated them as best I could with as minimal stress as possible. It'll take a few hours to look all pretty again when she settles. She'll look really good. No HST/Defols done in any major way. Left it all. And just let them do their thing. Working with it, the smell is LOVELY like a black berry smell. Is absolutely lovely scent she's giving off. But, she is a good candidate for stealth growing. Only when she's worked on does she pong. And you have to be close to smell it. Day 42 and she's doing AMAZING. Really happy to see both phenos looking beautiful & separated really well. Hoping she'll push through pre flower in the next 10-12 days.

for my nutrients I have been giving 3.75 ml per gallon of fox farm grow big and 2.5 ml of fox farm tiger blood I feed them every time they need watering... I have not seen any burnt tips so they must be handling the nutes well. More and more preflowers are coming out. I am just going to say we are starting flowering this week, im guessing she will start flowering for sure by the end of this 5th week.

21 day cure… 👃🏽 is insane, it has more of a sweet loud taste covered in Trichomes and I love the pinkish purplish colors 💪🏽🦍👍🏾

Sooooo Still flushing this bad bish, tricomes are still devolpoing from what I've seen and the plant look relatively healthy still.
Have flushed 3 times with just water and again added 2ml flawless finish with 1 litre and watered waiting a couple days and will flush with water again.
Patiently waiting....

Well she’s pretty much done now , gonna flush then pull her in 3 or 4 dayz, phat , sticky and sweet smelling buds . Quality finish and a bumper yield , she’s a real monsta . I’ve smoked a bit of this already and it’s very tasty , kinda tastes like the colour blue 😂😂.

●Day 49, end week 7. Added bembe, Boomerang, and blackstrap molasses to the diet. Noticed some brown freckles on a handful of leaves. Hopefully the cal and mag in the molasses will help get me through another week before the big flush🤞 recalibrated my p.h. meters. On to week 8
●Day 44 just picked up a new microscope (Wireless Digital Microscope, ROTEK 50x and1000x Microscope Magnification with HD 1080P 2MP Camera, Mini Pocket Handheld Microscope Camera with Light Compatible for iPhone Android, iPad Windows Mac) via Amazon. So, sorry for the blurry trichome pics. I'll work on it. This diary will focus primarily on Big Bud by Seedstockers for the remainder. But the agent orange will finish her journey. This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned
