Hello Diary. The second week of vegetation is over. Pretty a quiet week, I had one watering and more or less it was all action on “Farm”. Conditions are more or less good, I would like the humidity to be a bit higher but ok. Watermelon has grown 20 cm, which is double from the previous week. I didn’t add any nutrients, the soil is still rich in nutrients from Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, Mycorrhiza Mix and substances in the soil. From next week I will start adding BioBizz. Her roommates, the two Purple Punch are also progressing nicely and you can see them better in their own diary. Let’s see how it was this week. 07/02/2021 - Day 12. Watering. I regulated the water with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. In my case the tap water is about 8 p.H. so I lower it to a value between 6.0 and 6.5. I pour water into the bucket the day before to evaporate the existing chlorine from the water. I should have watered more often with less water but now it turned out that way. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 49% humidity. 09/02/2021 - Day 14. Photographing plants, measuring height and analyzing the week. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 23.5 degrees and 40% humidity. AK 47 is not an auto so that was binned. But actually it was good because it was far too cramped. 2 plants tops next time. Added in overdrive as its 2 weeks out from breeders harvest timeline. The GSC really needs to fatten up in these last few weeks, not pleased so far seeing as it is in hydro with perfect ph the whole time. The glue and gorilla cookies are amazing. VERY thirsty averaging 2-3 litres a day of strong 1600 ppm nutes. It’s on a two a day watering cycle now. terpinator, rezin, overdrive, sumo active boost, nirvana added mid week. I was using bud factor X but it’s now so expensive it’s out of production so switched to terpinator. Ppm is a little high in the hydro but no burn or issues so far. Just a few heat stress curls on leaves. Should end up with very sticky buds with all those added.

As said before, I'm incredibly happy that I got to harvest a little bit. Never expected her to make it, but she kind off did! The smell was pungent and sweet like an amnesia haze should be, hoping that will be even better after drying and curing!

So.... another week has come and gone, all the while this medicine keeps growing... Mexican Airlines #3 is a week plus a few days behind the other 2, because I sprouted another liberty bean to fill the tent. MA#3 "seems" to be a "different pheno" than #1 & 2. My reason for this observation is that MA#3 color is just slightly different than 1 & 2!.. Her green for #3 is not as deep a green, but very healthy and vibrant! I wonder how she'll play out... I have very high hopes and expectations for all 3 of these. This week I continued with the LST as well as gentle trimming of fan leaves to allow light to the bud sites.. I probably be more aggressive than I am in this. Also attempting the "bend & hide" of the fan leaves. Really trying not to stress this sativa too much... Still getting that beautiful Ganja smell mixed with the flower and herbal smells from my companion plants.... it's very nice... Mexican Airlines #3 is not showing any trichomes yet, no worries it's only her 1st true week of flowering. MA#1 has the most so far (which is expected) as she has always seemed a faster grower.. MA#2 has them but its still minor.. no worries the babies are growing I still havent added any extra "nutes"!... As I am using FoxFarm Ocean Forest as well as "KIND Hot Soil" (look this up! Wow!). The soil is jammed packed with organic goodness! I cant say enough how great the plants grow in this and how simple it is.... Still watering as needed, using only RO H2O, alternating between "light" and "heavy" waterings.. I love reading your comments and tips, so please post them.. 7/23 I already wrote a bunch of shit but my phone wacked out and deleted everything I had written and wouldn't work. I had to water deeply as it's been super hot. I'll write everything thing below. 7/24 I deeply watered everything again. The past few days have been like 90 plus degrees. I think I saw mld on the soil of my plants. Scary. Just fuzzy looking shit on a couple. I did water during the day when I got back from vacation as they were drooping and needed a feed. I'm wondering if it's diatomaceous earth since I've never used it. I thought I had a handle on earwigs but they seem to be inflicting more damage and shred some leaves or chew new bud sites. WPM is still there but I've been hesitant to treat since it's been so fucking hot. Today I saw too leaves tacoed. I'll definitely up the kelp the next feed. Senecios is definitely happening. It looks like a deficiency sometimes but the have grown a tremendous amount in height. I showed a commercial grower and he seconded my opinion. I have a lot of work to do. I have kinda forget the two little clones I took. They are still in 1 gallon pots all rootbound. Thy were extras anyway. That skunk ape plant is a beast and super resilient. I think that's a strain I'll stick with. Super mild and pest resistant. I have videos to add but internet is slow and I need to put the phone down so it can charge. I really need to think about when to switch to bloom nutes. I might need open sesame but it's the only one I don't have and I don't think it will make it or break it if I don't use it 7/25 I've been neglecting my garden the past few mornings due to some family medical problems. I didn't water this morning. I read about the mold on the soil (two bags same strain far from each other) and garden pages say that it's a (good) mold and "the soil is banging!" as in very good soil. And it's just eating the decomposing material. I'll research more but it said something on a cannabis forum to scoop it off the top and treat with vinegar solution. Thing is those are like the best plants lol. It's weird. Maine weather is bi-polar. I also forgot about a couple clones I had taken. They were just extras but still. I might transplant them even though they are still in the 1 gallon. 7/26 I didn't water today and my phone completely shut the bid so no photos or videos either. Next feed I'm switching to bloom. I defoliated what needed it. Eating population seems down but I've still got some pm. I wasn't planning on spraying until Temps are down. Mayve tonight. Once I figure this phone out and point some time at the garden I'll update. I spent quite a while defoliating today. Plants are almost through the stretch. They've been 7/27 fed 3 gallons. Upped grow big to 2tsp per gallon and defoliated what needed it. My blueberry was drooped right over and seems to be "falling" and the roots seemed to he breaking away from the plant due to somevof the strong storms. Itscrhe only plant not supported. I added a stake and tied it back up. Then I topped off the soil with happy frog and mounded it up around the trunk and watered around it. 7/28 I'm still noticing earwig damage. Wr found one in the house. I put out more of those spinosid pelleys and reapplied diatomaceous earth as well as re-applyong petroleum jelly on bottom of plant stalk and branch intersections. PM is still visible. I'm planning to spray either tonight or tomorrow. It will probably be with the organocide. The potassium bicarbonate works good too. I wish either of those worked in earwigs. When the internet is faster I'll upload a video showing the interior of the plant. 7/29 We had brief but torrential rains last night. I defoliated a bucket full of used up leaves. Either that or deficiency that I haven't nailed down. I believe it's senescence since it happens the same time of year according to past journals. However it concerns me that it could possible be related to a time (in (nature) which the earwigs become larger and more aggressive. I don't know. Im guessing. They like to eat the shoots that grow the buds. I need to check soil ph. Some small leaves turn yellow and die. Plants look great and are really transitioning and "stretching" like crazy. I will update further later.

This plant was an absolute joy to trim. This plant consisted of buds and stems only, so I am actually curious what the dry weight will be.

Day 63 - 28 of Flower Changes this week include adding a 4th Maxibright 315w lamp and Agro bulb. I wanted to run 4 but originally could only afford to buy 3. These retail at £250 each per kit so theres now £1000 just in lighting. A huge improvement to overall light spread around the plants and more light penetrating the canopy to the lower bud sights. I've also spent the weekend insulating my space for 2 reasons. Obviously temperature fluctuations being one. I found the temps were anywhere between 17 and 31 degrees throughout a 24 hour cycle and wanted to get a more consistent day and night temperature. With the extra light it needs to be cooler too. 2nd reason was humidity. With the great British weather being as damp as it is the night time humidity has been over 75% some days which now we are deep into flower could quickly lead to bud rot. Insulating the space and running my exterior AC unit has now got that figure to below 56% at all times. I'm very happy with that. Feeding ratio remains unchanged this week. I'm going to continue running the PK13/14 for at least another 7 days or untill the buds finish fattening out. Still feeding 6 litres every other day. No further training at this point just pulling a few colas out of the way of the fan and one main cola from directly under a lamp as it was burning. Also stretch has now finished which is a massive relief as I've no headspace left in the tent at all. I didn't have time to take many photos of the buds in the dark but the ones I have put on show just how frosty these stardawgs get! Really living up to their name considering they are only half way through predicted flower time. The only further upgrade I would like at this point is a proper co2 with digital regulator. I have however read that they dont benefit much from extra co2 from this point onwards?? What is everyone's thoughts on that? Obviously I have my natural co2 generator and will leave it in untill the end of the grow. I realise I really underestimated the size of these plants and 6 sativa dominant species is a stupid idea. The tent is just too packed so on the next run I'll opt for less and go with a scrog. Thanks for checking in! I cant wait to see how the next week plays out.
