Upon the return of power, the DH48-S relay timer, which controls irrigation, failed again. This has happened for the third time in the last 4 months. Unfortunately, I couldn’t react immediately, so the ladies were without water again for a few hours. I’ve ordered a TrolMaster program device and additional sensors AMP-3 for pH, EC and humidity, and temperature control. No more messing around! Water consumption is gradually decreasing, and electrical conductivity of the water is slowly rising. I’m starting to reduce the strength of the nutrient solution. Each subsequent tank refill will be at approximately 1.0EC. One Tropicana Cookies and one Wedding Cheesecake will finish during the next week, so I’ll slowly start preparing them for harvest. Purple Lemonade and one Wedding Cheesecake will continue flowering into the ninth week, but they’ll be the largest ladies in this batch. All the ladies look and smell fantastic, and the buds are already firm to the touch, especially the Wedding Cheesecake. 2/21/2023 - Day 50: Starting pre-bloom this week. Changed the light from 18/6 to 16/8. Also, started adding my bloom nutrients. Watered about 3.5 gallons and threw a little bit of everything in today. Started with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, then added Rootwise Micro Complete, Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Yah-Whey, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. Also top dressed with some BuildAFlower. 2/23/2023 - Day 52: not much to report. Plants are doing great, and seem to like the slightly cooler temps lately. Mainly just been tucking branches under the scrog screen and doing some super cropping in an attempt to keep my canopy even. 2/24/2023 - Day 53: gave the plants their weekly IPM, with a foliar spray at lights out of warm distilled water and BuildASoil EM-5. This is also to clean the leaves in preparation for the flip to flower next week. 2/26/2023 - Day 55: last day of veg. Officially flipping to flower tomorrow. The scrog screen is pretty full, other than the Frozen White Runtz, which is barely reaching the screen. Hoping it will catch up more during stretch. Also, plan to put a second layer of trellis on.

It’s day 27 from seed for all the plants in the photo sea of green. Let’s call it the battle of the strains summer 2025. All of the plants are starting to have visible differences. I’m already starting to tell witch plants are more sensitive than others.

Flipping in 2 weeks

An here we are. At the end of another cycle. The end of another year, and what a year it was. For Sunshine and me personally, it was a tough year, with our families sick on multiple occasions, life-threatening. We are very thankful for many things but most of all that all our parents are healthy again. We wish your families are as fortunate in the coming year. So we end this Gorilla's life with a swift cut of the scissors, after thanking her again for the companionship, the well-needed distraction, and all the love she has given me already. I sometimes read that people won't go near their plants when they are angry or sad. Please do go to your plants when you are sad or angry! They are millions of years old. They have been healers of animals and humans since they were around. Our emotions can not taint something so pure as the spirit of this plant. She will heal us, give her life for us, sacrifice herself for our healing. She is all-powerful and all-knowing, there is nothing we mere humans can do, except disrespect her powers. Bask in her glowing light, enjoy her soothing energy, her creative spark when you are in need of love, just don't smoke her at that time, for she will soothe you bit not give her treasures, she will seduce you. First week of Flowering . Looking great now that I switched to Advanced Nutrients 2 part Sensi products 🤘👽🤘

Gz# 1 & 3 & 6 is maturing Gz#3 is not fattening so much and sugar leaves are turning brown.maybe i chopif in next 2/3 days . I am happy with them

Flower Week 7 Day 49 to 55 - 5/6 to 5/12 They both look very healthy this week. The calyx are swelling with maturing hairs, the pistols are orange, the trichomes are mostly white, and the leaves are fading/changing colors - still not ripe enough for me, but flushing with half nute feeds now. Feed this week was another auto pot reservoir flush feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). And then, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balance this week was for 5.8 where I plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week will continue the same half nute feed. I will continue to monitor the signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx for a better harvest and allow the buds to mature more.

Its finally done! So on the next days buds will continue to dry regularly in their jars. The total weight of the two wedding cake was (82g)..on the next few weeks I will continue to check their weight, while the total weight of their trim was 34.1g which i will use them asap in order to wash some hash. I did some tests with some small buds to feel the flavors and get an idea of what I would expect.. I was struck by how different the two wedding cakes are. with both the smell and the look of the buds. I will post other updates with photos in the coming days! Thanks fam for the support! 💚

Going out of town for a few days so decided to rig up an automatic reservoir top off system. So added a new 15gallon "pre reservoir" with air stones and a timer pump. Every 12 hours it will kick on and send 2 gallons to the main res, where there is a float valve to shut off at a high water level. Also the tent has a flood sensor if tripped will kill the power to the pre pump. Should be safe to leave for a few days.

End of week 10 - Day 70 / 35 of flower Another good week at the parlour. A lot of hours spent in the tent yoyo-ing the biggest colas. Half way through the week nearly all of them had fallen over so I had a full evening trying to make some space and hanging them up. I messed up a feed at the beginning of the week and over fertilised them with PK which can be seen on some leaves. For the last 3 feeds they've been on only 0.5ml per litre to try and reverse a bit of the damage. After today they come off PK completely and onto the BioGreen X-Blast. Obviously with this being my first grow I have nothing to properly compare too just other diaries. Only 1 or 2 of my friends grow their own medicine but regardless I've never seen weed like this (in person) in my life. The frostiness is next level. Even with the lights on you can see just how many Trichomes these have produced. It's looking like they will only need another 3 weeks. Plan is to carry on following the feed chart for for another 2 weeks and if I see any signs of cloudy Trichs I'll start to flush them untill they are 50/50 cloudy and amber. I really hope these keep going strong. I just cant wait untill I can pack a bong and take a rip of my very own home grown weed!

I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Opium is a vigorous lady. She will be my glamor girl. She is taller and has the typical sativa structure and has space between the nodes. There is not much leaf growth, so I don’t defoliation much. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. If you are looking for a super resistant strain and easy to grow functional medical strain this is the one. She was given tap water, and used flawless finish for 6 hours then flush again, 2-3 times in this two weeks, expecting top shelf from her.
