Big beautiful frosty buds, the smell is kicking up and I’m starting to believe these carbon filters are not so effective. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but no amber. One of the Sour Diesel plant is my favorite bud structure and scent from the whole tent. The tall OG Kush in the center of the tent got some photobleaching which I took care of with dimming the light intensity! Have some Super Buff Cherry cuttings in the CloneKing rooting while these finish up to move into the tent already!

The Blackberry Moonrocks have a really solid structure, they're looking super healthy. They're nice and big, but it does seem like they could be stretching a bit more. We might need to adjust the lighting or the nutrients to encourage them to grow taller. Well, another year has come and gone. 11/03/24 FD23 the buds are frosty and the nodes are spaced pretty tightly. the buds look as if theyll fill out fairly large. 11/05/24 FD25 everytime i open the tent, the buds just yell at me. citrus and fruit smell come through 11/07/24 fed today. cut the nitrogen/ grow forumula out.

The autopots did their thing at about .6g a day. I did battle multiple hot days in the garage. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I ran out of bloom and used some powdered kool bloom and it worked well. Thinking of switching to jacks RO but it’s working so good now I don’t want to switch. This weeks accomplishments: install two more autopots - for the gelatos. I put the gelatos in fabric autopots, one 5g xl and one 15g xxl. Scrogging the gelatos to flatten the canpoy Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues - my humidity crept up high when I was gone and I saw a few powder leaves which were promptly removed upon my return. Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #1. In comparison to the others she had the least amount of amber trichomes, with most of them being milky though. She could've enjoyed another week of flower for sure, but for the sake of the others being ready, harvesting them all at once was the only reasonable decision. Plant #1 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

Now we've reached day 25. We are in the transition phase, pre-flowering if you want, when the seedlings reveal their sex by showing the white fluff or the boyish balls. Here and in all F1 Hybrids you can be SURE, SURE as death that you will never see any balls. If you have underestimated this aspect of the F1 Hybrid, go back and think about how many times you found the balls on the paint, full of pollen that fertilized your ladies. Do you like having young ladies impregnate you? Absolutely not for me and this is a very valid reason why you can choose the F1 Hybrid. Really guys the seeds suck and the genetics of the various breeders if they don't do a job like this it means that they are super hybrid poles with genetic traces scattered here and there. Inglourious bastards. Here we don't want to be Aryan but to cultivate healthy plants with safe results. 27.11. She’s really starting to take off — looks like she’s about to flip into flower soon (at least from my noob POV). I can already see some pistils popping. I did stress her a bit though — didn’t water in time and she got a little droopy the next day. Gave her a good drink right after and she bounced back nicely. We’ll see how she goes.

She is very close to harvest so fresh water flushing has started. If I had to describe her buds I would say they are very COARSE. The ovules are very large in diameter compared to any other strain I've grown. I left the tape measure visible in the video for scale. Good? Helpful?

8/2: Started new batch of nutes. a repeat of last weeks nutes but with more CaliMag this time. Wednesday we will be bumping Rez to 6 gallons this week. Depending on how she is looking throughout the week we may start transitioning to Bloom nutes. Mixed as usual nutes in gallon jug of water. Transferred half to half gallon jug. Topped of Rez with half gallon jug of treated water. 8/3: Fed her today. Gave her the rest of the mixed nutes from yesterday’s feeding and also a full gallon of plain water. Filled rez to 3rd line today due to roots coming from bottom of bag into rez. Now that’s 6 gallons in the rez now. 8/4: Topped off Rez before bed with the half gallon of plain water. Started transition nutes this evening. Mixed nutes in gallon jug as usual. Poured half into half gallon jug. Filled rez to 3rd line using half gallon jug of nutes. Still some left over in jug. 8/5: Topped off the Rez with the rest of the nutes from half gallon jug. Split gallon jug of plain water into half gallon of water. Poured some of the half gallon of plain water into Rez until it was a little over the 3rd line. Bumped light intensity to 70% This evening topped of Rez again with the rest of the plain water from half gallon jug from earlier today. Then poured in SOME of the rest of the transition nutes left from mixing. 8/7: Mixed another round of transition nutes and fed from half gallon jug split. 8/8: Topped off rez with remaining half gallon full of mixed nutes for the week. Will need to water another half gallon of plain water before starting new nute batch tomorrow. Topped of rez to 3rd line with some of the plain water in half gallon jug. Topped of Rez again late tonight with the rest of water from half gallon. I can now start new batch of nutes tomorrow.

We've made it to week 3! (10/12/20) I'm very happy with how the girls are going, they have definitely put in a HUGE amount of work over the past 7 days. Plants 3 & 8 are very similar(extremely fat leaves & extra bushy) Plants 1 & 5 are similar (smaller phenos reacting to nutes slightly differently) & Plants 2, 4, 6 & 7 seem to be a cross between the previously mentioned phenos(not too small and not too big/bushy & reacting to nutes fine) Feel free to compare Week 1, 2 & 3 to see the differences. Nutes are staying the same this week, although I will be spacing feedings out a little bit further(18 hours-ish), as well as feeding straight PH'd water once a fortnight. I am contemplating hooking my simple drip-to-waste irrigation system up, although the girls are pretty close to the medium still and the halos sit 5-10cm above the medium, meaning fan leaves would be drooping onto the wet halos, so I'll give it another week and see how they're doing :) Update 11/12/20 - day 22 The girls have beefed up quite a bit over the last 24 hours, I'm really looking forward to seeing a stretch soon :) No feeding today & will water plain ph'd water tomorrow. Update 12/12/20 - day 23 Gave the girls straight ph'd water today with little run off. Veg growth is really starting to boom now, looking forward to seeing where this grow goes! I'm gladly accepting any tips or tricks, as I'm still only a beginner to indoors. Update 13/12/20 - day 24 Girls are looking great today, not much to report. They didn't get a feed or watering today as the medium was still wet after a pure watering yesterday. Update 14/12/20 - day 25 There's been a big increase in growth over the past 24 hours. All the girls besides the 2 smaller phenos look 100% happy, the smaller ones have looked a little weird since day 1(Weird as in colour of the fan leaves look deficient of something, but I'm not sure what. The girls will be getting a full feeding today. There's still no signs of sex but they are feminised seeds. Update 15/12/20 - day 26 Girls are looking happy today. Temps are back to normal after a heat wave in my city(its only going to get hotter from here on out). No feeding/watering today, pots are heavy/wet enough. Started using iphone for photos now, my only lens for my DSLR is useless for most grow related photos. I will upgrade my lens before next grow. I received my new silenced fan today! I couldnt be any happier :) It is a silenced Sigilventus SE-A150J, which I have set-up with a brand new Can-lite carbon filter. I went from a rocket loud eBay fan to a completely silent inline EC fan :D I hope the girls like the silence! Update 16/12/20 - day 27 The girls are continuing to boom! and I'm over the moon about it :D I gave them a full feeding today. I have seen white pistils coming out of calyx's on most of the girls, so i'm hoping they start to flower soon. I'm having weird issues with my humidity, it seems to be fine at 40-50% for 70% of the day, but the remaing 30% of the day it goes up to 60-65%. Temps stay the same in the 5x5 tent, I have ducted air-con in the house which is on most of the day. Thanks for viewing! :)
