Little bit of a delay. Wanted to get climate perfect before the flip. Upgraded ventilation and have the tent dialed in well at 74 degrees and 60% humidity during day and 70deg/ 55% at night. Started a second scrog on Day 42. Nervous about the stretch but hopefully I can maintain it (I wish T5 lights could flower...) Did extensive trimming underneath clearing pretty much anything that will never reach the ceiling of green above it. Day 45 marks last day of Veg Day 46 marks first day of flower AND. HERE. WE. GO.

Been a minute growmies but I’m back with some updates. This week I realized I was going to have to get a new tent ASAP. Was really trying not to have to but it is inevitable. She is huge now! Even tried throughout this week and next to do some tie down with string to fabric pots. Sorry for wait…. I know she was sad towards the end of the week 😞. 8/31: Started new batch of nutes. Did a massive defoliation today as well! A lot more light through the canopy now. Cut dying bottom branches. 9/1: Did a lot of defoliation today. Even removed some of the lower branches not getting sufficient amount of light.

First of all, I want to thank all those who supported me during this time, your support gave me a lot, and also gave me the motivation to do better and more beautiful. 👏 You know what I have encountered problems with smell when growing this marijuana strain because of considerations of privacy and personal security, I couldn't give extra days of life to these plants. So I made a harvest for the 70th day of life of these plants, exactly 10 weeks. When I harvested, I had to move the inflorescences to another place to dry. I put their Bank and Packed in several layers of garbage bag and tightly sealed it with sticky tape. When I came home, I dried the inflorescences, and I prefer to separate the inflorescences from the large branches, and the inflorescences themselves slightly pressed to make them easier to store and they do not crumble during transportation. So the inflorescences are obtained dense and hard as a tree, but do not lose their smell and taste, but the inflorescence should be compressed very gently and gently for several days as they dry. Day 76 - 07/12/19 The Quick One has turned into a Fat One! The colas are just huge! nice lavender smell and very sticky! the buds also look a lot more dense this time compared to my last diary probably due to adding calmag and pk13/14 and this plant is over twice as tall haha. it finished its stretch at 43cm so shouldnt be a bad sized harvest. I fed the plants last night with their last dose of nutes and im going to start flushing from today right up until harvest. My tap water is at 140ppm so this should be okay for flushing. ive grown all my plants with this tap water and tbh i used to let it sit out for a day or two to evaporate chemicals but i havent done that in ages. plants dont seem to mind it straight from the tap. but yeah flushing from today right up until around the start of next week. it should only need a week flush as its coco coir but im expecting to harvest on Day 85. The top of the main cola started to look weird and was definitely getting burned from the light. i took a small bit off as i cant adjust the height of my lights just now, gotta fit these rope rachets the light is just so damn heavy lol. im not worried tho, expecting about an ounce from this harvest, maybe more from my diesel auto diary. Still im very proud. this is my first plant with big colas, and not only tall but fat! cant wait to see how dense the buds turn out to be and i think my last harvest was at week 9 so this has had much more time to mature. I pulled a lot lot of leaves off this plant as they were crispy and yellowing. ive been feeding light amounts of nitrogen for a while so its either just the plant yellowing or the crispiness is light burn. either way you will notice from the pictures. upper colas have no fan leaves lol. and i added a couple of photos through the jewelers loupe, couldnt really get a good angle. but the breeder estimate is 8-9 weeks and il be finishing on week 12 so itll most likely be ready. I got a few more seeds and they are going to be stunning! award winning genetics and also exotic and high thc autoflowers! im using biobizz light mix and i should be starting once i harvest this diary so keep an eye out for that and check out my other diaries if you get a chance. Day 78 - still giving 1.8l of water per day. wanted to ensure im getting all the nutes and salts out of this so i gave 1.8l of phed water earlier in the day and 1.8l of phed water 6 hours later. going to try stick to the 1.8 per day as the soil dries out overnight with that amount :) Other than that the plant is looking great. some faint purple colors and its pretty frosty! nice big buds. once the plant is harvested and trimmed im gonna dry some on a drying rack for about a week. and some hung up to dry in a cardboard box for 2 weeks. Day 79 - 10/12/19 Harvested the top half of a side cola today so its cured just before christmas 🎄 and i wanted to let light penetrate the lower buds! Have a look at the pictures and let me know what you think in the comments :) Biobizz light mix arrived and im thinking of starting my next batch of seeds, keep an eye out for those diaries starting up :) I plan to harvest on day 85! so excited for this one! Day 79 same day update: Took a few pictures of the bud drying :) im gonna dry it slowly and just let the 21-23c room temperature 50-60% humidity do its job. and let me know what you guys think about using a drying rack like in the picture for buds? Day 80 - 11/12/19 A few days shy of 12 weeks now so i decided to harvest another couple of side colas! Snipped a cola down to individual buds removing all trim and the other cola i didnt break down i just trimmed. il add photos tomorrow to show what i mean :) The trim was really frosty and looked quite cloudy/plastic and the buds are covered in cloudy/amber pistils. I smoked a couple of bongs of the test bud which has been drying for about 24 hours now and im pretty stoned! very relaxed in my back and shoulders. no muscle pain. my head is heavy with enhanced audio and visuals :) this is turning out to be a beautiful afternoon smoke! very proud of myself :) Only a few more days until full harvest and i cant wait to cut the main cola down. id say the main cola could be near an ounce when dried as it looks thicker than my arm 😂 Day 81 - 12/12/19 What a night ive had :) been up for ages fine trimming 2 side colas i pulled off the plant tonight. the flushing was worrying me with the extra humidity rise. i added a ton of pictures to show off the whole ordeal as best as possible :) and i came across some mold halfway up one of the giant colas. was a very small pocket of fluff so i cut around the affected area and didnt lose too much (about 2g if dried) the side colas were so much bigger than expected. completely filled my whole raw tray with buds and my drying rack is starting to fill up. Im like a small child again as these colas are the biggest individual piece of weed that ive held :) really proud that i grew this! I also got a lot of trim and little popcorn buds. gonna keep then for edibles and dry up these test buds. 3 Days until harvest of the main cola :) and check out the pictures and videos i added at the end. huge colas! :)

So, I threw out Fruit Diesel and Bruce Banner because of insufficient development. I still made a mistake, it is better to plant 4 plants under such a lamp, but not 6. I installed a dehumidifier, the humidity reaches 60% - no more. All the same, in a hot climate air conditioning to reduce humidity is not possible.

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

The Black Devil's OG is trucking along without issue, while the Northern light is a tad on the droopy side at night and is likely expecting earlier night hours. I will likely adjust my light schedule to reduce the stress. The videos posted came out pretty well, considering they came out of a cell phone camera. 400x ends up being really blurry as the phone can't focus properly to compensate, but you can still see all the bacteria dancing around. Some nematodes and ciliates there too.

Hemos retrasado el cambio de una semana a otra, ya que por el lavado de raíces no las pudimos alimentar antes. Luego cambiaremos el PH a 5,8-9 y el EC también lo aumentaremos. Edito: al final no lo hemos aumentado porque respondían bien y estaban recuperándose. Respecto a la semana anterior, se ven mucho mejor después del lavado de raíces. Algunas plantas están muy bajitas, así que la luz para las más bajas está a 65 cm. Mañana o pasado aplicaré jabón potásico con aceite de neem a modo de prevención. La vez pasada, que era mi primera vez plantando, llegaron trips y al final resultó todo bien, pero si no llegan los bichos, mejor todavía

Day 98 - still flushing, still waiting for amber trichomes. I've harvested a couple of bits last week & they are drying now. Thats why she looks a bit lop-sided.

Day 11 into flower, plant has transitioned quickly and didn’t stretch as much (thank God) as I thought it would heading into flower. It’s current size is 48 inches wide and 49 inches tall from the top of the soil.

Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

Day 2 in the pots they came out beautifully with their seed as a hat! Day 4 they were all 3 1cm out of the ground, they were born! Day 6 is almost over today and 2/3 seeds go delicious. Both of them already have their first set of real leaves and you can see the next set coming, oewhhh. Unfortunately there is one that I think is less gene/old seed. It sits around half the height and the lobs are almost closed, but hopefully it is still hard 💪 🏼

One of the plants has a slight pie dough smell, but still very minimal smell when I open the tent. EDIT: the smell is actually making it passed my carbon filter, and I am not sure why it is only 1 of the 2 plants giving off the heavy smell as well. The chunkier/darker colour one is the one that smells real heavy, smells really creamy/doughy. UV/IR has been on for the past few weeks, and will stay on until the end. The plants have gone through a bunch of issues so far, and are still going strong. Gave a tablespoon of power bloom to each, on day 31.

Grow Journal Week 3: Bloom Phase Progress 🌼 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I’m thrilled to share the third week of the bloom phase in our grow journal! Here are all the details for Week 3: Weekly Progress We are at the end of Bloom Week 3, and the plants are thriving! Even our previously problematic plant has made a full recovery. My favorite plant, the one on the left, has claimed an entire half of the tent for itself. The stretch phase has now concluded, and I am very pleased with the results. Watering and Control Systems The watering system is operating smoothly, even with the increased water consumption of the ladies. The Blumat and TrolMaster systems are working without any issues. Challenges In Week 2, I performed a heavy defoliation since I had some time that day. Although it was a bit early, the ladies have recovered well. Due to limited time over the past two weeks, and this likely continuing until the end of December, I've been doing my best to keep the journal as current as possible. Goals and Expectations In the next two weeks, I expect my buds to start swelling, and I am very excited about this development. Thank you for following along, and stay tuned for more updates! 🌿✨

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Never seen anything like it, once again THIS this is what we intended by growing Stardawg :) Update: Pics and vid hope it comes through well enough as for the green in that tent and the dense hairs on Layla
