This week I did some LST on one of the magnums and left other one. The third magnum (the runt) is looking better after I trimmed the dead leaves off. It’s on 6ph flush, it is starting to show life. I think the soil was too hot and it got bad nute burn. My temp shot to 90 so I had to turn on the AC unit. It’s a daily struggle with temp humidity, but I think they are coming along nicely. Starting the Girl Scout cookies diary next week. They are looking wonderful !!!

day 9 for a few days I have seen Dr. Thunder have N issues. I put about 4-5 cups of old discarded coffee grounds that has been saved for 5-6 months, into my 5 gal water bucket,along with air stones etc. My water ph has been significantly low (6ph)from around day 7 to 11(writing this day 12). day 12 video, water is back to 7. Been giving Dr. Thunder Bloodmeal now into watering. I personally would like a darker green. All females showing 4/4.

Hey guys, 31/5/21. We are seeing clear signs of bud. Looking very nice. Both purple lemonade are flowing. However as I previously mentioned before I had a problem with a water pump. On one tray. This has set the plants back in this tray. Wedding cheesecake and grape gushers. However because the are all autos I am lucky as in my light cycle hasn't changed. So effects are not dramatic as they could've been. Happy growing people's 👌🤟👍✊👊🌱🍁🌿

These ladies are really starting to stretch their limbs. I have reduced the indoor light to 17.5 hours and will continue to reduce the light 1/2 hour every ten days to match the 16 hour day on June 20th when I have scheduled to put them outside for good. On warm days here I try to get them outside in the sunlight as much as possible. They are busy and beautiful.

I've mixed silica with other nutes before but I had read something earlier about bioavailability issues and I didn't want to risk it. My plants are the healthiest I've ever grown. I'm considering transplanting the large 10th planet that I'm light depping. I also need to develop my ipm and my nute schedule. Still gonna have to keep an eye onvthe water situation. Luckily I have a buddy in my corner that's co tinualkt Bern a great help. WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON. BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE AND THE PLANTS WERE LOVING THIS SUN. I mixed two gallons of kelp you kelp me and fed it to the garden. Afterwards I pointed qbd found a couple plants that were more open to the wind were a little lighter. I know tomorrow will be very hot. Maybe quarter inch of rain. However after that it will rain (showers) off and on for days. I wanted to make sure the girls had what the needed to make it through tjis heat wave until they get that rain. I had another gallon mixed up and I'm thinking I should've given it to them. Oh well. I'd rather underwater than overwater any day. I did notice a burnt top on the plant furthest from the tarp that the sun JUST BARELY TOUCHES when the rest are in shade. I'll just raise the tarp a little. These are tiny problems. Can't upload video until tomorrow. 6/24 Good thing u gave the plants that water. I know it wasn't much but we didn't get any rain. Suppised to get a qtr in today and another qtr in tomorrow. Then rain a couple more days. It's working our really good for my watering schedule lol. Yesterday the girls got there first dose of a bottled nute. They got two gallons of kelp me kelp you (1/3 tsp per gallon) and another gallon of just phed water. I was going to do another gallon but held off due to the threat of syring rain. Didn't get it bur it looks like the plants loved the kelp. It had reached 90 yesterday. They look better today. It's 70 at 9 today. I LST the 10th planet in the 3 gallon. It's getting huge. I should start a separate diary for those three light dep plants. Its cool as hell watching this. One of the purple punches is flowering pretty good. I probably should start another diary for them. I'll be starting to feed my plants soon. Wondering if I should pinch plants again. TUCKED THE LITTLE GIRLS IN AT SIX AND SHOT A VIDEO AND TOOK SOME PUCTURES. PLANTS LOOKED PHENOMINAL! GOT HOME AND AROUND SEVEN IT JUST STARTED RORREBTIAL DOWNPOURS! THE TYPE OF RAIN THAT BREAKS STEMS. I SHOULDVE PUT MY OTHET TARP UP BUT I DIDNT. I WISH I HAD. IM A LITTLE NERVOUS. I KNOW THESE GIRLS ARE STRONG THOUGH! TOMORROW. IM ALSO GOING TO KOOK INTO FINDING A TOP FOR MY CAGE I CAN USE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. 6/25 That little qtr in of rain we were supposed to get turned into torrential downpours and high winds. Luckily no REAL damage. If you watch the video you'll see what I mean. I'm going to havecto be cognizant moving forward. Noticed a few chunks from leaves butvplants are still healthy. I'm surprised how well these girls withstood this storm. They are certainly resilient. The 2 purple punch 1 10th planet that I'm light depping are flowering nicely now. They missed all the commotion from the storm as they were inside. It's smelling good. I'm happy. 6/26 It's what a friend would say is "maineing") out. That mistcthe plants love. I'm surprised the plants are doing as good as they have been considering the wind. Will be adding nutes soon. Need to add extra supports too. Light dep 6/27 Brief periods or torrential downpours. Light depped 3 gallon 0lants are under an overhanfcwhete the hatsxrain can't hurt them but they still get sun. They are really starting to flower now! I'm going to begin feeding with a base nute and a flower nute I think. I'm thinking about giving the light dep some open sesame or something similar. I need to set up a nute program soon but the plants ALL look so healthy! And it's been raining! I've only watered like once or twice since they've been in the big pots. I've seen zero pests aside from a chunk missing from a grasshopper. Usually by now I'd have battled half a dozen things and be battling another half dozen. However I was posing from clones. These are seeds and boy don't I see the difference!

The 3rd and final girl has been trimmed, weighed and placed into curing jars! She added another 78grams making the total come to 219grams! I'm fairly happy with the result of my first grow! Id like to thank the community here on growdiaries. Without the hours I've spent looking through diaries, getting ideas, and learning, I've found this site invaluable! I hope my fellow growers keep on taking pics and sharing their experiences! Being my first grow and having to deal with manitoba flood humidity during late flower i believe i ended up with a decent harvest sitting in my jars. Starting week 6 of flower and everything is growing nicely and stinking up the place. This strain is not a huge yielder but it makes up for it in quality! Buds will still bulk up quite a bit in these last few week (she’s goes to 9 weeks). I will be doing 1 more defoliation of some bigger fan leaves that are blocking the light to the lower canopy sometime this week. Other than that the girls are cruising right along.

6/9 fed. 6/11 attempted to water but I'm holding off to see what we get for rain. Things are finally looking up. Very frustrating not being able to load vids. 6/12 first video uploaded. 6/13 still doing research and trying to decide whether or not to move the grow. My cousin seems to think things are fine. I've still got research to do. Camera app went down for a bit but everything is up and running. Plants are looking good! 6/14 watered and Fed plants 3tsp big bloom. 1tsp grow big, 1tsp calmag, 1/2 micro brew, 1/2 kangoroots. Plants are greatly improving. I still see some wind burn. I've gotten mixed reviews on whether or not to move the entire grow. Local seasoned growers and family members that have seen the setup and location tell me to leave it where it is. People online seem to think it's better to move the entire grow. I'm leaning towards the "if it's not broke dont fix it" attitude. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed.

February 2, 2021 (Week 4, Day 29): The plants grew enough overnight to top at the third node. This is the second and last time I'll be topping these plants - this is the Nebula method of manifolding. I also took off the second node of each growth stem as well as the original fan leaves. I've pressed them in my plant press to save the memories of my experience with my first grow. I also redid the LST on every plant. The new growth sites I've pinned to the fan leaves. I really enjoy doing LST, it's quite therapeutic to figure out just how to support the plant without harming it. I think I am getting great lateral growth so far. The main growth stems are swelling a lot at the bases. Medium is still wet from yesterday - lightly tilled about a half inch of top soil. I've turned down the humidity another 5% this week. I'll keep it there most likely until I start the flowering cycle. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. Plants are happy, and I am happy. 😸 February 3, 2021 (Week 4, Day 30): Plants are looking good this morning. The nitrogen toxicity in Unknown 2 is beginning to subside. Now Unknown 1 seems to be having a nitrogen toxicity as well - slight leaf curling at the ends with a very lush and dark green color. I am assuming this soil is still very hot. As I've lowered the humidity I suspect more nutrients are being sucked in through the roots instead of transpiration through the leaves. I think the plants are going to take a little bit to get used to the hot soil, but I bet once they do they'll be as happy as ever. Medium is still slightly moist this morning, no watering. I tilled a half inch of top soil again to keep everything aerated. Most likely will water tomorrow or the next day. My LST seems to be holding nicely. I tied down Unknown 2's first growth tips as the fan leaves have finally straightened out after the topping yesterday. New growth tips are emerging nicely from the third node of each lateral stem. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else to report for today. February 4, 2021 (Week 4, Day 31) : Growth looks good overnight. I think this second topping is confusing the plants a bit. Lots of bulking of the stems, but not much lateral growth. I have a feeling they'll take off over the next few days. They're still growing really well. I posted a grow question last night having to do with little white bead-like structures growing on the surfaces of the leaves on every plant. I was concerned it may be a mold or fungus starting to grow. I did a bunch of research and it seems to be early trichome development called "sessile glands". I still have the question open and I am trying to get confirmation. Really hoping if they're trichomes that's a good sign that these plants are going to be frosty. I uploaded some pictures to show the development. Over night they started to grow everywhere on the leaves - hopefully they really are just trichomes and I am being over-vigilant. Better safe than sorry. I watered the plants today without nutrients; 3 liters per plant pH'd to 5.8. Runoff sitting at ~6.5 pH now which is much better. I'll continue to run 5.8 pH solution until I see the pH of the soil come down to at least 6.2-6.3. Tomorrow I'll most likely have to defoliate a bit and tie down the second sets of growth stems, as they're beginning to stretch and grow vertically. Averaging 60% rH and 76℉. Happy growing all! 😸 February 5, 2021 (Week 4, Day 32): The plants are exploding with growth now. I defoliated the fan leaves from the first node on every plant and tied down the growth stem for lateral growth. These plants are meaty as hell. The stems are thickening really quickly and I am getting tons of foliage and stem growth. The third nodes are starting to come around. I think I figured out the "mold" issue I thought was starting. They're definitely trichomes, not mold. I touched the leaves that were sparkling and my fingertips got sticky, oily, and reeked of weed - so that's great news. The smell in my grow room is getting stronger every day. While defoliating this morning I found my first pre-flowers on Gelato 1! It looks like all the plants are female, but Gelato 1 threw some pretty pistils at me to get my attention. Seems like the plants are reaching maturity. Depending on growth over the next few weeks it may be time to switch to flower soon! I am aiming for about 16" in veg before switching. Seeing these pre-flowers made me so anxious for flowering. Unknown 1 and Unknown 2 are doing great as well - all the signs of the nitrogen toxicity have subsided. Unknown 2 has more trichomes on the leaves than any of the other plants, and its foliage is a beautiful deep green. They are either different phenotypes or different strains entirely as the two of them are growing and looking quite different. Unknown 1 is much lankier so I suspect a different strain. Unknown 2 is especially squat and I suspect it's 100% indica or close to it. Medium is still wet. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. No other news today. February 6, 2021 (Week 4, Day 33): Last 24 hours I have seen at least an inch of lateral growth per growth stem on each plant. These girls are absolutely loving life from the looks of it, they're growing incredibly fast. I redid a bunch of LST today. Had to move every tie up one node. Medium is still moist. Lightly tilled half inch of top soil. Gelato 1 is shooting out more pre-flowers. Thanks to my wife we have new friends that have joined us in the smart pots. 😸 Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. Happy weekend everyone! February 7, 2021 (Week 4, Day 34): These girls are chugging right along. Tons of great lateral growth every 24 hours at this point. Having to adjust LST pretty much every morning to accommodate for the crazy growth. Gelato 1 is a freak of nature - the fan leaves are gigantic. Defoliated again today; took the fan leaves from the third node of each plant. Will be defoliating the first node of the secondary growth stems tomorrow most likely. Medium is slightly moist. Tilled the soil again. Will be watering tomorrow morning most likely. There's still a little dropping at the ends of the leaves so I will hold off on nutrients until all nitrogen toxicity has subsided. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else for today. February 8, 2021 (Week 4, Day 35): Watered today with 3 liters of 5.8 pH filtered water per plant (no nutrients) - runoff around ~6.7-6.8 pH. Will most likely resume nutrients upon next feeding depending on how the plants look. Defoliated entire first node from center four growth stems and tied down third nodes. Readjusted outside LST. The plants are almost to the outside of the pot which is when I'll switch to vertical growth. Unknown 1 is very close to being let loose, it's also pre-flowering now. Gelato 1 is now covered in pre-flowers - it's definitely a happy plant. Unknown 2 is still the runt of the group but also appears to be almost 100% indica by how stout it is. It's showing sex but no pistils yet. All three plants seem to responding well to mainlining and the stress isn't making them skip a beat. Stems are getting huge. I downloaded an app on my phone to check how well my lights are doing and, if the readings are accurate, I am very impressed with these lights. I've read cannabis can handle around ~65 DLI, so I am right where I need to be. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. That ends week 4 of veg. Time is flying. Hoping to switch to flower in two weeks for a total of six weeks in veg. Getting super stoked to switch over! Happy growing everyone! 👽
