~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2204 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Three of flower and these testers are finally in flower mode!🧐👍 Both testers are in flower and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls a top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3 weeks or so. I'll monitor them and decide on whether I'll give them another top dress or let them ride. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno being roughly a week ahead of the #2 is starting to flower nicely. The #2 pheno, while different behind her sister, is finally beginning to get her act together a is making flowers!🧐 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix and Granular Myco mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting only one more feed from here moving forward as they will take a little longer than the other testers in the run that are well into flower now. 1/25- Yesterday I didn't water but continued today with 0.75g for the #1, and 0.5g for the #2, of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. They're both looking really healthy and both into flower! 11/10 - comenzó su cuarta semana de floracion. Su evolución fue muy notoria, de un dia para el otro se desarrolló mucho. No tuve problemas en ninguna etapa, hasta el momento se encuentra perfecta. Los cocos son muy resinosos y grandes.

Temps dropped by 10-17 degrees- especially at night. Have not given any nutrients, just hose water. She seems to be doing fine. Ipm weekly and the cold is making her slow down a touch. Other than that, the frost is developing nicely and countering all this plant has been through with the temp swings, bouts of rain, bouts of dryness, wind, sun, no sun, etc- I should get a decent little harvest! Smell is divine! Has these sweet vanilla pine aromas with a deep purple bud. Probably chopping next week!🏻💚

The trics have arrived :D Super frosty for a few of these ladies. The smell is not quite as strong as it was a few weeks ago... but they glands are sticky and the aroma is very distinct. Still fending off minor PM on one of the plants. It'll rear it's head through harvest. I got a proper fan to help keep airflow appropriate. I realize i was under aired for the majority of the grow with only having one small dinky pole fan that didn't even oscillate. I also got a microscope to start checking trics. THe hairs were mostly turning at this point and trics were predominately clear. Over the past week, it was becoming apparent that the three outdoor plants were going to need some additional help if they were to reach fruition prior to temps getting too low. There were a few nights with 45 degrees and I began to start planning to bring them indoors. My plan was to having them in the same room albeit not in the same tent, for about a week to make sure no pets or disesases came in with them. They turned out OK so I moved them back home in the tent with the others and cranked the power to 100%.

This strain is very heterozygous. 4 seeds were started. The 4 phenos were very different. I saved 2 of those phenos for my arsenal, which is quite exceptionnal. I ususally save just one pheno from a strain. The Pheno #1 was mainly sativa (75%). Long branches. Lots of fluffy buds. The more resistant to mold, but it has to be with the fluffiness. The taste was cheesy and spicy, which has nothing to see with the 3 other phenos. Not a single ressemblance with ak-47 parents as well. It shares the musky undertones of the strain, but nothing else. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. Terpene profile was deceiving, just as the cannabinoid content. The Pheno #2 has more indica in it (45% indica). robust and tall plant with dense heavy buds. No mold resistance at all. Biggest producer. The taste was earthy and musky with hints of wood. That pheno is gone. Not enough potential. The Pheno #3 is my favorite one. It reminded me of the good old Ak-47, with her flowery/sweet/skunky smell and taste. Pure nostalgia! Tall and quite robust plant with huge fluffy buds coated with trichomes. She grows pretty similar to Lemon Skunk if you know the reference. Great producer of top quality buds. So sticky! In my top 3 sativa for 2 years. The aroma is very close to the old school Ak-47: sweet, flowery and skunky. It tastes like sweet lemon on the inhale, with a sharp touch of spicy lavender and earth on the exhale. IMO, that is the pheno we want to save from that heterozygous strain. Backcrossing this one would be a very good idea. The Pheno #4 is just as interesting as my favorite #3. The only issue with this one is about mold resistance. Crazy compact and heavy budst! One of the most productive I’ve ever seen too. More traits of the Ak-47 in the aromatic profile, but nothing like the #3. On the structure side, we can immediately recognize the sturdy and bushy structure of Ak-47. THC content is very high too. I suspect the CBD content to be high as well. The effect is a mood elevation, with good focus and a deep body relaxation; a bit similar to what White widow does. The aroma is earthy and pungent. Very skunky and musky. It tastes very sweet and earthy on the inhale, with hints of skunk on the exhale. That pheno #4 expresses the best traits of the Ak-47 in its structure, while pheno #3 kept the aromatic profile.

All done and dusted on this bad boy. Nice big bushy auto that did its job from the beginning. It was always harder work than the Do Si Dos and with what I’ve hung up to dry I don’t think it’ll have a larger harvest either. The smell is super strong and very fruity and will give an updated the final smoke and weight. 🙌🏼

Cannopy is Building up

Wow what a difference a week makes. The one I topic thriving a d growing with no issues. The one that was last week losing all it fan leave seem to be making a great recovery and looking better the ever

Week 5 flowering for our strawberry gorilla from fastbuds 420! The buds are starting to get fatter day by day, we continue with our food program. This week again we gave sugar shot, sticky fingers, bloom booster, silica, amino and master root all from xpert nutrients. All good at the moment 🤗

So far it looks like I have control of the nute burn looking at the fan leave not burning/changing anymore. Started finish but started at 5pm and my led goes off at 6pm. I kept flushing till 6:20om but stopped due to the fear of the ladies herming, revegging, or anything that would cause my ladies to start off week 7 on a slow/bad start. Defoiling a little but mostly real bad burned fan leave because I believe your ladies will continue to try and repair them which pulls energy from bud developement. Flushed on 6/1/22 and ended on 6/2/22 all 3 ladies ppm is under 200 so I can make sure they have enough to ripen and fatten up. On week 8, I will do a ice flush and then 2-3 days of darkness while they freeze. Checked trichomes on 6-5-22 and some show maybe 10-20% on some colas. Will harvest all 3 on 6-12-22 probably in the morning which I seen and heard it is better because at a certain time in the day marijuana plants let out moisture and you want to keep as much of that as possible.n

Un monster pheno! CBD Auto 20:1 #2 hago riego con 750 ml H2O RO + BIO PK 5-8 10 ml/l. ¡Un empujón para la recta final de floración! Tiene unos colores preciosos en los cogollos! Con tonos rosas y morados en los apices! 😍 LSD-25 Auto hago riego con 750 ml H2O RO + BIO PK 5-8 10 ml/l. ¡Un empujón para la recta final de floración! Está preciosa con ese morado casi negro que presenta en cogollos y hojas, unido a los pistilos de color naranja fuego conforme van madurando OG Kush Auto tiene una formación de cogollos impresionante, y ha empezado a cubrir de tricomas todas las hojas que salen de los cogollos 😍 Lo unico preocupante es que ha empezado a mostrar algunas manchas marrones en las hojas de los cogollos... Added a scrog today, plants looking healthy. Ill be looking foward to see how they react being autoflowers. Bat guano also added to the coco as a top layer and mixed in about an inch. Upped the cannaboost and cannazym. Next week probably be adding PK 13/14
