Day 70 for these Fastbuds beauties Blackberry Auto: With dark purple buds glowing fiercely and a dank smell to match, this girl could make anyone's tent look amazing. During the last few weeks her buds have become incredibly dense and sticky. She is very short and thick in stature compared to the other plants I have in flower. I inspected her trichomes over the weekend and ive determined that she is pretty much ready for harvesr. I expect about 2 oz of high quality flower after dry/cure. Forbidden Runtz Auto I'm really blown away with the turnaround in this girl. She was mutated & so small I almost tossed her out during early veg; I'm glad I changed my mind. She stretched significantly between weeks 4-6 and I really wasn't expecting much from her. In reality, she has blown my mind... incredibly dense and sticky buds have developed in the past 4 weeks. She's got the zkittles smell mixed with a gassy terp profile.. I think the higher humidity through flowering phase really helped develop these dense buds. When I checked her trichomes over the weekend I determined that she will be cut down within the next 7-10 days. Process/ Environment changes: - Lowered my SF4000 roughly 20 cm to increase photon delivery to the canopy - Water/kelp meal only from this point to harvest - My temperature has risen due to change of seasons .. roughly at 27-28 deg C during daytime.. this is why I lowered my lights rather than turning them up - Defoliating any unnecessary fan leaves at every chance I get - I've had to use spools of twist tie to use to keep the branches from falling over from their own weight. I'll tie one end to the top of a branch, and the other to the stock. Not ideal but its working. Cheese auto dry/ cure update: After 10 full days of drying, I gave the buds a decent trim and put them inside glass jars where they will remain for many weeks. I add 2 way Boveda humidity packs to help regulate the relative humidity within the containers. I also use tiny hydrometer pucks to measure the humidity and temperature inside the jars. My ideal cure is at 62% RH

Day 56-63 (Day 5F-12F) (Day 6) Water retention is still a big issue in this soil, even with the reduced amendments, loose compaction and added perlite. Pots just aren’t drying out fast enough and I still need to water in enough to reach the bottom. I wish I had some flood trays for this exact reason so I could bottom water instead. (Day 9) I’m going to try running 2 liters of water through each pot until I see a good amount of runoff on each plant. Maybe the nutrient content of the soil is just too high. If this doesn’t work, I got nothing. Plants are drooping like crazy but that’s not surprising as I just flooded them. I’m going to turn on the carbon filter to clear out the humidity a lot faster. Over the next few days I’m going to let the filter suck the life out of this tent until it’s bone dry. If I start seeing deficiencies arise from my minor flush, I will foliar feed some 1-1-1 kelp and some 3-0-0 calmag. I highly doubt I will see any deficiencies but it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead. (Day 11) Ladies responded well to that heavy watering which is a little surprising honestly. The pots are still soaked and super heavy but they seem to be happy. (Day 12) I’m really not seeing any well defined bud sites which is not a good sign at this point. I have never grown under HPS and have never flowered a true 10 week strain so it could just take a little longer in early flower. So far I’m unimpressed

Ok I will Upload Pics from My phone ASAP, but I needed to go to the PC to write this faster, one of the plants that previously misgendered her as sativa was really an autoflowering plant showing her wild stretch! DAMN SHAWTY, thats so bizarre yet it's not as bad as it almost syncs with the change of photopheriod that was planned on 1st' Of October, SPOOKY TIME!. So the photos that happened between 27 and 31 september, shows that a plant was preparing for her flowering when she got in the mood, but i concern that now reducing my photopheriod to induce flowering on the other ones make these one the most wanky , less potent or less producer than ther siblings as in won't be in the best growing parameters.🤕 In terms of nutrient feeding , last Nitrogen Bomb before flowering, totally fine! here, as following action was throwing out some yellow leaves inspected as they block light for lower branche , and controling the plants height and wideness through diverse crude tools... involving Paper clips. 📎 Lights changed to more raw power and will be elaborated next chapter.💡 Night Homies!💨

One of ap colas fell and bent overnight due to the weight on her stem lol. Fixed the problem by using some tape and a support beam for her. Other than that they r both starting to stink up a lil bit and are growing healthy. Completely flushed them at the beginning of the week to wash last week's nutes out for fear of rootrot. Will give them nutes for there next feeding.

Our number #3 is the youngest in age, I don't know if that's why she is the most perfect in leaf color, shape, proportion and all the characteristics such as leaf and stem color that define a healthy little plant. It's all very well, colorful and proportionate and we promise very well. I am giving Plagron Power Roots rooting soon starting with Alga Grow. The girls have already been poured into 11 liter jars because the biodegradable jars have started to decompose prematurely, no problem let's go to the ground. Day 71 - Starting week 11 and overall looking good still but have a ton of bracts/calyx that are not throwing out pistils. They seem to slowly be coming out on some but looking like I’ve got a ton of them without pistils and no buds actually forming, not sure if I’m explaining it right, all still fairly new to me. The only thing I can think to do is just let it ride for awhile longer and see what happens. Day 73 - Looks like a few more bracts/calyx’s are starting to open and show more pistils. Some have thrown out a single pistil and started to shrivel already. She’s got a lot of milky trichs but still think she’s got a good couple of weeks left, hopefully she’ll fatten up quite a bit. Ended up giving her a gallon and a half of plain pH’d water today as well. Not sure why I didn’t research or why I didn’t think of it but she’s definitely foxtailing so hopefully cutting off one light will help slow it down a bit or something. She’s nice and frosty and stinky so not too worried about any ill effects from it but still not happy. I’m sure a combination of lights, a little heat and a screw up somewhere on my part stressed her out too much. Oh well, every grow is different and is a learning experience. Day 74 - Still chugging along and even though she’s foxtailing, she’s starting to open up more and throw pistils. Other than that, not much else happening with her. Day 76 - She’s still chugging along and not much to really update today. I know she’s foxtailing quite a bit but just letting her go to try and get as fat as she can. Still a lot of clear trichs and bright white pistils so a bit of time still left. She’ll need some water tomorrow for sure. Day 77 - The end of week 11 and I’m probably gonna give her another week then possibly chop. She is just about all milky and just don’t see her fattening up much more. I did give her one more round of nutes today but that’ll be it until the end and just straight water from her on out. If I see some fattening up, then may let her go longer. I may possibly do a partial chop and then see what happens with the lower stuff.

This week has gone well, had a bunch of stuff typed out and closed my browser by mistake and now this is #2 attempt to post this week. Easy week for the plants, they have being growing well and I am impressed by the size of them. I added in some potassium silicate to introduce some Si into this grow. I decided to top them as they where starting to grow their 4th node, snipped that tip off and we're golden. They are kinda smelly if you rub them and that's fun too, Some of the hot peppers have also popped up and started growing. I still don't have anything on the Naga Morich pepper that I am hoping for. I have a feeling that as the seeds I got from these peppers where from a dehydrated pepper, they might be duds nuked from the dry heat of the dehydrator. I do have 4 vials of hot pepper seeds where the label has fallen off, I found the labels but no idea what one goes on what bottle. One out of the four bottles is Naga Morich, Having some none dehydrated seeds in my possession is one step closer to getting more of this hottie. I also found a fly out of no where, Its little wing is damaged and it more or less hops and glides unsuccessfully vs fly's but I took some videos of it. I also seen a few fungus gnats, little fuckers where not in my apartment before I am convinced their eggs survive in the stuff I buy then come out of it. Kinda annoying. PLUS I borrowed a light meter from my hydro shop, I was expecting it to be a LUX meter and that I would have to do a bunch of conversions but it was not, it was a legit Quantum Par Sensor, detecting in PPF "Photosynthetic Photon Flux" or umols/s, with these readings I can calculate my PPFD "PPF+Density" I have mapped out my tents floor into a colour coded grid of dots and mapped out the PPF at varying heights and dims. However I did not do it right and need to redo this. But once this is done I will have a functioning PPFD map with relation to my tent. This will help me tone in DLI and get it aorund a solid 35-40. Will be gearing up for a transplant next week. I try and post on Fridays but don't always get around to it. I take the pics on that date though and then try and remember what I was going to write about that week. PS Gorilla Tent Accessory's suck shit. The SCROG nets pic has the gorilla 2x4 SCROG net "black" and the Secret Jardin 2x4 SCROG net "white" beside it. massive difference in quality and size. I should have known when they state on the label its for 2x2 or 2x4, that's not even possible. Also tried out the nutrient line that's part of the gorilla tent company, Lotus, I ran it one year and it was just trash, did not work, had issues since first week and they would not correct. Buddy reached out to me and said same thing happened to him and he disliked the brand. Well, the drought stress in week 11 really fucked my plants up, but Twiggy recovered, while Zoey was hurt pretty bad. If I did nothing, I'm betting harvest would've been 25% more, and Zoey's buds wouldn't look so crappy, but overall, I was so happy with this grow! I was under a time crunch, so only did minimal veg for 4 weeks, topping once. Daily watering with 1.8EC mix that was pretty consistent. Kept pH between 5.5 and 5.8. Kept tight control on humidity and temperature up to mid flower, then kept air circulation on to keep room humidity around 55% Things I'd do differently: 1. Veg longer - I'd love to try a mainline 2. Canopy control - wish I had spent the time on a SCROG screen, or at least a couple of rings. 3. More light sooner into flower. Waited about 4 weeks into flower before maxing out the light. Probably could've bulked them up significantly if I started earlier 4. Drought stressing - For Fucks Sake, keep a close eye on your plants, and the minute they start to wilt, get the water back on 'em!!! 5. Measure your run-off more frequently for salt build-up. Didn't have any problems, but it's a good best practice. 6. Set up proper closed-loop environment to allow for CO2 enrichment. 7. Set up a clone environment before you get to flower. Oops. Things I was happy with: 1. VPD control system (heat, humidity) during veg and early flower worked flawlessly. Never any nute burn, and super healthy plants. 2. Sterilized soil and grow-room before starting - never had a single bug or any mold/mildew issues. Used a MERV 13 filter on the air intake, exhaust through carbon to crawlspace. 3. Coco/perlite mix - super drainage, low build-up, very healthy roots. 4. Power meter - neat way to measure what's really going into the grow, so when your wife complains about power usage, you can show her the real numbers. 5. Photone app on Android S20 - Knew where my PPFD was for optimal growth control. 6. REX-C100 PID controller for toaster oven - super tight temperature control comes in handy for decarbing as well as toasting oak for moonshine.

Baked Bomb autoflower has been hitting a great growth spurt. She has not shown any piistils yet, but has the stretching appearance showing. I imagine they will show this week. Everything has been going great lately. I did clean out her underside some, and selective defoliation through the canopy. This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of us sites developing!

Running smoothly so far... Still only watering lighting, approx 200ml every 3 days or so. Using the BioBizz nutes.. The fish mix stinks!

Week 6 is coming to an end. Some very explosive growth over the past few weeks. The biology in my garden must be on point! Haven’t really switched things up that much. Did some more LST/HST and added some molasses in my last watering. Will be flipping to flower once week 8 is upon me. Till next week! ✌️🏾

Blütewoche 6: Die Woche begann okay. Das Vergilben ist nicht gravierend schlimmer geworden.. 🙏 Also sollte es hoffentlich doch bis zur Ernte reichen 😁 .... Ich hatte jedoch das Gefühl, dass es irgendwie nicht so wirklich weitergeht.. Die Buds wurden nicht sonderlich dicker, bei 3 von 4 Pflanzen blieb der Stretch fast völlig aus.. Also nochmal jemanden fragen der Ahnung hat. Einen Tag darauf bekam ich Besuch von meinem Kollegen, welcher den Grow das erste mal sah. Er schaute sich die Pflanzen etwas gründlicher an... und sagte, dass dort eine Stelle verdächtig aussieht... Nach weiterer Begutachtung stand fest. Es sind 2 sichtbare Pollensäcke versteckt an der hinteren linken Pflanze... Er beruhigte mich und sagte ich solle nicht durchdrehen.. wir schauen uns es morgen früh im hellen an und entfernen die Säcke vorsichtig.. Das Problem mit dem ruhig bleiben ist nur ... dass es mir nicht so liegt, wenn ich meine gesamte Arbeit schlagartig als gefärdet sehe... 😓😐😶 Am nächsten Tag stellte sich heraus, meine Panik war nicht unbegründet ... kurzgesagt ich habs leider trotz aller Mühen verkackt 😓😓😓 Alles ist voller Samen.. jede Pflanze wurde von der kleinen Skywalker bestäubt. Von unten bis in die Headbuds... Aber Hey bleib locker, kann passieren, lernste draus und gut ist ... Das ist was man in solchen Momenten gerne hört 😡 Das Fazit ist jedoch... Genauso ist es. Es kann passieren. Man kann nicht alles von vornherein wissen. Man kann nicht alles perfekt machen ohne es einmal geübt oder fehler gemacht zu haben... Es ist einfach zu viel, dass man einfach wissen müsste. Ich bin Perfektionist durch und durch .. Aber diesmal war es gaaanz weit entfernt von perfekt 😩 Die ganze Zeit, Nerven, Mühe, Vorfreude und vorallem das Geld .. alles erstmal futsch.. Aber eine Menge dazugelernt habe ich... Hoffentlich kann ich das nächste mal mehr davon richtig anwenden 🙏 Für mich ist der Grow hiermit Emotional und aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht als gescheitert zu betrachten. 💤 Alle Pflanzen werden nun wieder gemeinsam in die erste Growbox unter 200W gestellt um ihre letzten Wochen hoffentlich ganz schnell hinter sich zu bringen.. damit sie mir aus den Augen verschwinden 😕 Die neuen Samen sind bereits eingesetzt und werden mir hoffentlich etwas mehr Glück bringen! 🙏 Vielen Dank fürs Lesen.
