Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Week 5 of flower and the ladies are still trucking along. Nothing really new going on. I did a little defoliation this weekend, just to clean out on the bottom. I did place the middle plant on a box to get her canopy up about the same height as the other 2, or close to it. =)

A cutting requires roots to uptake water, we must create an environment so humid the plant can absorb moisture through its one set of leaves, 70+RH% but also a good supply of fresh air and full temperature control. Once I see light lime green it will signify new growth of the plant, I will know it has started to re-root.

This will be one of the last uploads before harvest. And even then I plan on taking photos of the harvest so I can really show how big this thing is. The root ball must be massive I've had roots dying and growing constantly through the fabric pot for a month+ now. It's smelly as fuck and resinous as hell. My third plant....third times a charm lol. The first two fuck ups, third one a masterpiece to me anyways. And time still yet to tell with curing I may fuck it up again but I'm going to do my best to do everything right this time 100%. I gave purpinator for along time basically since week 4 or 5 and it never really turned until the end a light shade of red on most of the branches. I might let go another week so it sucks all the fan leaves dry if that's ok. My last update came a day late. This one came a day early since I consider my first actual veg day to be on a sunday

Pretty good week overall! Day 80, I am posting a little early to coincide with my expected harvest in 2 weeks, and because today I officially started the flush! At this point I am anticipating the harvest between 5 and 14 days from now, depending on how quickly the buds finish ripening up. I am guessing the taller plant has about 75% red hairs and over 50% cloudy trichomes at this point. The shorter plant is slightly behind with maybe 40% of her hairs being red and maybe a third of the trichomes are cloudy. They have made a lot of progress over the past week, so🤞 they will continue that trend. Did a pretty decent defoliation on the shorter plant, due to some fan leaves that were blocking light from the lower canopy turning yellow. I have decided to try molasses with my flush water, hopefully that will improve my final product. One final note is the smell.... it is considerably stronger this time than either of my first 2 grows. Typically I do not bother with a carbon filter, but the smell was so strong it leaked in from my garage and permeated my entire house! So I added filter (and a very strong candle) and it seems to have helped the problem. Super excited for the harvest, will definitely keep everyone posted!

week 7 flowering (Day 49) some leaves are just falling of on the critical because of the calmag issue still the buds get fatter, also the coockies start getting brown pistils but are far from ready the only thing i give is the plagron PK booster (green sensation) with tap water

Stinks... Haven't done much but water it. definitely forming some bigger buds but taking so long. As for the leaf, curling let me know if anyone has an idea. 2 weeks left. Will flush with flawless next week,

Die Grapefuel Gelato ist als erstes fertig geworden. Habe ein paar Bilder der Trichome von einer AI analysieren lassen und laut der ist der Anteil der Amber-Farbenen ca. 27% im Durchschnitt. Jetzt wird erstmal abgeholzt und dann nass angezogen. Update nach dem Ernten: Es scheint sich um einen gassy Pheno zu handeln 😋 an manchen Stellen haben sich anstatt 2 gleich 3 Buds gebildet 😍 bin echt auf den ersten Rauchtest gespannt 💚

Alright Growmies!! So this Purple Ice Water is a bag seed I got from an amazing strain i had and was lucky enough to find hidden gem inside one if the beautiful nugs!! I think I have a photo in my Google photos I'll look for a picture of the flower the seed came from!! Anyway, I was going to enter the 16oz solo cup challenge but I didn't realize time was running out and so i had already planted the seed by then and of course she popped and I grow attached to them when that happens so here we are!! Not to mention, this is my first indoor grow and so I'm not thinking or planning as I should be and so guess what problem I ran into next...well my tent was now in flower so lights were kn 12/12...so 3 days into the new seed I planted, i need more hours of light for her and so you'll see my solution in the photo or video..my lady thought it was hilarious when she walked into the bathroom to get ready in the morning and a baby cannabis plant was handing from the light fixture lmao!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 this is only temporary fix and she is only hanging up there for a few hours then I place her back into the tent to give her that much needed light!! I could always do the window trick but hey this was too fun!! 1st week is going amazing, as it can go lmao!! Between day 5 and 6 I added some rain water. It rained for almost 3 days straight here in Arizona so it was nice to be able to capture some rain water for my girls for once! Those days are few and far between unfortunately!!

Las flores no son para nada llamativas, una variedad más cruzada con rudelaris, que para mi gusto es perder el tiempo y el dinero invertido en cultivar cosas así… no merece la pena en interior, el ratio de gramo watio se me quedó en 0.5 , de los no peores resultados que tuve en los últimos 5 años. a sido una genética con la que no disfruté nada cultivarla, es complicada, es bastante sensible.
