May9th The tallest one is almost 3ft tall and it’s just the beginning of this outdoor grow. Last year I haven’t even started and ended with 3-4ft plants. So 3ft plants as a head start is a winner in my book

🌱 GERMINATION (4 days) Seed in a glass of EC 0.4 tap water for 24 hours, then in root riot and under the lamp. She sprouted 4 days from dry seed. 🌿 GROWING STAGE (12 weeks) I decided to grow this plant with a long vegetative period, this allowed me to do a lot of training and try something more than the usual defoliation and LST. Starting from the 5th veg week I started my training, I FIMmed the main and carried out a defoliation sessions once/weeks for three weeks. During the last weeks of vegetative growth (week 10-12) she got significantly more intense training, a lot of branches and leaves were removed in order to allow the lower parts of the plant to get as much light as possible. I also topped several branches. Due the size of the plant, on week 12 veg I decided to halve its size by bending all the branches that had passed the first lollipopping phase. To support the plant during recovery from SuperCropping I mounted the ScrOG-net, which will also allow me to keep those branches low. I must confess that it was very satisfying to push this plant to the limit and then watch she recover in just a few days. Height at the end of the veg stage: 55 cm. During the veg stage PH was always between 5.5 and 6, about EC I started with 0.8 and was 1.7 on the last veg week. 🌸 FLOWERING STAGE (10 weeks) I started this phase after 48 hours of darkness, Then changed the DWC solution for transition. I focused the training on the first 4 week flowering, mostly LST and defoliation, then mounted another scrog to support and open the canopy even more. Stretching stopped during week 4 of flowering, doubling in height despite bending branches through the scrog-net during the transition phase. She showed pre-flowers around 20 days after the switch. During the last six weeks of flowering (weeks 5-10) I simply paid attention to the PH-EC levels to provide the roots with optimal conditions. I then kept the TEMP-RH-VPD-PPFD values ​​under control with the Tent-X which allows me to provide optimal conditions also above. Height at the end of the flo stage: 100 cm. During the flowering stage PH was always between 5.6 and 6.2, about EC I started pretty high, EC was 2-2.2 during the transition, then I raises it up to 2.4 in the fattening phase, then slowly downed it during the ripening. In the end, there were five flush days before the cut. ✅ HARVEST - From sprout to harvest: 152 days (84 days veg + 68 days flo); - Harvest on day 68 from switch, when trichomes were about 95% milky and 5% amber; - Wet trim, removed fan leaves. ✅ DRYING - Time: 8 days; - Average: 23° C - 55% RH; - After that I made a dry trim, removed branches and sugar leaves. ⚖️ DRY WEIGHT 290 gr buds + 50 gr larf. I also collected about 5 grams of finger hash after the trimming session. ✅ CURING Curing is done after 60 days with Boveda 62%. 💯 SMOKE REVIEW After 60 days of curing, buds look frosty and shiny! Due the trichomes stage when I harvested, effects are definitely on the sativa side. After smoking it I feel euphoric and in a good mood, I will smoke it mainly during the day. As for the flavor, I can detect some pungent and earthy notes, very consistent smoke. It reminded me of my years in Germany, when we would drive to Holland to stock up on White Widow 😍

Gelato from Original Sensible Seeds straight submerged 😳 9th of September: All good tap root is out some of them will be planted earlier because the root is coming faster and they will be in the mini pot first :) So-Si-Dos OG and Gelato from Original Senisble Seeds are planted in the mini pot tap root was perfect long. Runtz Gum also woth today. Two of them left so I will check out tonight :) End of the day I planted Black Ghost and Wedding Gelato as well. All of them planted now we just have to wait them to be out 🤪 Day 2: All of them out ❤️ Day 3: Opening up :)

This week, we had a lot of filling out. Violet doesn't seem to grow as tall as wide! The leaves are so pretty, it's heartbreaking to cut them. 9/13 day 37 I thought I started noticing yesterday, but today, Violet quite obviously has red hairs! Hard to notice at a distance, up close, most of the buds have definite red hairs that match my own. Happy about her recent feeding, her luster is returning, and she's more and more full every day. 9/15 day 39 Every day is crazy hair day around this camp, and Violet always shows out with her long, white pistils. Over the last couple of days, the red hairs have been drowned out by more long whites, though I don't know why the back and forth. She is still getting very droopy kind of early, and no light adjustment seems to alleviate this. I've been reluctant to turn the light up to a proper level for flower so far because of it. Can not enough light cause similar symptoms? Every couple of days, I remove a leaf or two, do some tucking to uncover bud tops, and add or adjust LST. Getting wider than taller, she's really started to fill up the cabinet! 9/17 day 41 I take Violet out of the cabinet for what will probably be one of the last times, if not the very last. One fault of our cabinet is the narrow doorway, which we probably need to widen out at some point. Her layers are so well-defined and even, it is easy to see the separate tiers when looking at her straight on. I take off four big, sexy leaves, two of them the remaining original big fan leaves from the first nodes. There are still a couple more that need to come off the very top, but I can do those later, and I don't want to shock her too much at once. I also water 1gal today, enough to barely run out to preserve those nutes from last week's feeding. She looks very tired and sad as I tuck her back into the cabinet. Hopefully she will recover for morning pics. 9/18 day 42 Violet is slow to wake today. I have to detangle all her little leaves every morning, and today is extra. I'm going to adjust her light today. I've been waiting for her to not be so droopy at night, but we're going to see if it maybe helps instead of hurts. I do a moderate raise to 750 PPFD, about 45 DLI, to see how it goes. I also notice the return of the red hairs this morning! Unfortunately, there is no smell whatsoever yet, other than plant. Everyone who sees her says how healthy she looks. Anything that was appearing as light tips has filled out with color, and the beautiful blue-green leaves are full and lush. If everything I've read about this strain is true, we should only have a few weeks left with this plant, and the buds look like they're going to be nicely formed if we stay on course. I have so much hope for Violet's harvest!

All in all a good run but because of my fault with the wrong lightcolour. Wont Happen again. On to the next one. (After I smoked All these)

Day 63 Flower Well we’re coming to the end of the grow cycle. These plants are looking great. They’re starting to get a bit of purpling on the leaves and trichomes are clouding up. I flushed with 7 gallons of plain water with typhoon cleanse. It’s stripped about 300 ppm per gallon, got my runoff down to 110, and probably do an RO flush if I need to push it longer. I am very happy with the stank, quality, density and trichome coverage on these buds. The smell is a ripe sweet lemon with and earthy hazy musk. Could use more lemon but I’m not going to complain. My house is rank and can be smelled outside even with the carbon filter going 24/7. I’m super excited to see how the effect is on this strain. It’s one of my all time favorites and I’m pumped that it has turned out to be quality!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Sorry not many pics this week, struck down with man-flu! Few pics of the new 600wt lumni fully adjustable light I picked up and have replaced one of the smaller kingbo’s with it, thought about having the two kingbo’s either side of this lumni but I really didn’t wanna forfeit the 400wt cobs! Also bought another double output air pump, so going into flowering phase, watt/plant ratio has increased and so has aeration to the air domes inside the smart pots. I’ve also added a small water pump to the nutrient tank to keep it moving/oxygenated while it’s waiting to feed into the drip tray.

89 Tage wurde sie alt Die Mexican Airlines hat meine Erwartungen mit einer riesiegen, über 30 cm langen Cola absolut übertroffen. Durch das LST sind auch die Seitentriebe schön prall und buschig geworden und tragen ordentlich Gewicht. Für so n kleines Ding, nicht schlecht.

10/7 - Watered today. Plants are looking great. I used less CalMag this time, I don't think the extra N from the 2-0-0 CalMag is needed as much, we'll see how they respond! I also used 10oz of Real Growers Recharge that was aerated for about 12 hours on each plant after watering. Haven't had to do much defoliation and I think I did an "almost perfect" amount. There are still plenty of fan leaves, but every single "top" bud site is not blocked! 10/8 - Not too much to update. Everything is looking great. Daytime RH has been between 50-60%, which is good for now. I did end up picking up a nice portable AC unit to help with keeping temps at 60 during the drying phase. I also bought some Grove Bags for curing, and a heat sealer to make sure I do it right! Still need to get trim bins and some more trimming equipment. I plan on doing a full plant hang to dry, with 60/60 Rh/Temp. This is probably still 4-5 weeks away, but I'm excited!

Lots of bud sites are visible and already developing. I've also spot some first sugar. However, I've also managed to snap the main stem on the Gelato plant, not completely. Hemos empezado un cultivo con semillas del banco Sweet Seeds y toda la gama de nutrientes y coco premium de Plagron. Es nuestra primera vez con coco y esta marca de nutrientes pero nos va a sorprender para bien! Primero diluimos siete gotas de seedbooster plus en un litro de agua y dejamos la semilla en esa dilución 12 horas. Esa misma agua la usaremos para empapar el papel donde pondremos a germinar las semillas. Al segundo día ya tenemos las semillas nacidas, y los líquidos de riego los haremos a un ph de 5,8 y usaremos power roots, silice rock y pure zym para cada riego con una EC de 0,5. Una vez a la semana haremos una pulverización de vita start y otro día a la semana vita race. Hacemos una dilución de estos mismos de 1 ml por cada litro de agua para pulverizar dejando bien empapadas las hojas. Vita start nos aporta un npk bajo para nuestras pequeñas y vita race le aporta hierro, de manera que con ellas conseguimos un mejor enraizamiento, ramificación y un color sano de nuestras pequeñas en sus hojas. Tendremos que ir subiendo el nivel de la Ec, ya que pecaremos de cautos en comida al no haber usado nunca coco antes.😎

Yes! harvest time! Buds r very solid, smelling very sweet and have lovely colours of pink in it.. but dang! so sticky!! She was in a 5L pot but she grew hard, like the beast she is 😎👍 Sticky was on tour a lot She started out on my window sill with only 13H of daylight and NO sunshine! But the winter was long, and i just could not wait any longer! 👊 ..then she went in my little greenhouse in my garden//and when she got bigger, she got an upgrade to the big safehouse (also in garden) and now and then she could stay on my gardentable to catch few rays.. She has battled a lot of bad (storms!) and cold weather and with that came a lot of bugs and pests..(big safe house is open at the sides.. its more a cover to protect them from rain and wind) But she still kept on growing like she did not care.. The beginning of her tenth week! Wow, this has been a long one, but we figured that we want to get the best yield that we can from this plant and for grow scheduling, we don't mind letting this one veg out a little longer anyways. We really wanted to see what we could do with this plant and if we could in any way, reverse the stunted growth, but it seems to be a mixture of stress/genetics. We aren't fussing though, it has definitely been an interesting learning experience as we have gone along. Much earlier in the plants life, after topping, one of the nodes had been accidentally broken off and the plant seemed stressed out by that, as well as a transplant to a larger pot, only to find out it was too large for what we wanted to grow. At the end of the day though it has all been a fun learning experience and this is definitely a seed we would like to try and grow again. We have another Ice Wreck plant currently vegging (about two weeks) and if we like the pheno, we plan to keep it as a mother plant. Feb 26 - Ice wreck has shown some decent growth over the last few days so we figure that its time to stop vegging this one out, after 10 long weeks, and this sunday, at the beginning of her 11th week, we will be throwing her in the flower tent, to start the next part of her journey. We can't wait to watch this plant stretch during flower and see just what she is fully capable of. We expect a decent amount of growth, but nothing too crazy as she is a small plant to begin with.
