Banana OG is a very special cannabis plant, surprising from the very moment it appeared on the scene. Its original aroma has given it worldwide fame, but that is not the only remarkable quality of this great hybrid, its effect, amount of resin and chemotype have aroused worldwide interest in this genetics from USA. Do you want to discover this spectacular weed? Well, I don't keep you waiting any longer... What genetics are contained in PEV Seeds' Banana OG variety? To produce the feminized banana seeds, we had to resort to self-pollination of the magnificent elite clone from the United States known as Banana OG. Therefore our seeds are Banana OG S1. The original cutting of this strain is supposed to be a cross between Ghost OG and a selection of Sagarmatha 60/40, which is known as Banana. How is Banana OG feminized in general? This is the typical hybrid descendant of the OG Kush, i.e. with branched and flexible structure, indica leaf, wide knot spacing, dense buds, very good calyx/leaf ratio, resin-coated, tasty and a huge yield. How is the aroma and taste of Banana OG variety? The aroma is the feature that gave name to this genetics, because really reminds ripe bananas. It is a very peculiar but quite pronounced smell, which has caused a sensation in America and is now conquering the rest of the world. Its taste is sweet, with touches of cinnamon, and the clear background of the Kush that gives away the origins and the pedegree of this original plant. What kind of effect does Banana OG by PEV Seeds have? This variation of the OG is closer to Indicas, in this sense it is more similar to the Bubba Kush. At first it doesn't seem so powerful, because you expect the OG Kush high, but this effect is different. Relaxes body and mind in equal parts, leaving your body immersed in a pleasant, very medicinal peace of mind. The effect can last for several hours and, although harvesting a little bit ripe, can be quite psychoactive at first, it always ends up with a very relaxing descent, special to enjoy at night.

Great strain , took her some time to start flowering but that could be related with stress. Outcome was medium size dense and loaded with trichomes buds , smell of fruits and real signs of banana taste , especially after a month curing or so. Would definitely grow some PEV seeds again in the future.

Hi everyone, thanks for reading my diaries. If you wish to see the pictures before the curing process jump to the previous entries in the diary. Disclaimer: The seeds were sent to me by @Pev-Grow and I agreed to create a diary for them. the opinions are mine and mine alone. This plant has a tough life be she made it through the final line. Cut, Dried for 8 days and jarred now. the feeling of accomplishment is amazing. So what happened in this grow you ask? 1. Germination rate was quite bad. I had 3 seeds, 2 germinated the 3rd didn't. from the 2 seeds one plant looked purely so I decided to concentrate on the other plant. 2. Pot size. most of you readers are aware of my limited growing area, due to that I had to sacrifice the pot size and she started in 2.5L pot and then was transferred into a larger 15L pot. this was a good move but it happened quite late in the game. 3. Week 5, or how I call it, the one-weekend-where-i-almost-killed-her, during this weekend i was tending to her and by mistake I pulled her from the pot and ripped apart half of her. at this point she was mainlined and I've practically lost half of the plant. (Remember this fact when looking at the Dry gram yield) 4. Lamp and grow area setup, this plant basically grew on my floor in the spare room! So for those people who think that they need "real equipment" and big investment, I got news for you. the light setup and total investment was 95euro.(!!) now, this has consequences, the plant turned very leggy and generated some small buds, still good smoke but small buds. besides those 4 items listed above everything went quite well. the plant never had a disease, nor has been attacked by any kind of bug. She took food in a normal, controlled manner, using BioCanna recommended dosage with one change. in the last 10 days I provided her plain, filtered water. the recommendation from Canna is to keep using the BioBoost. This plant was a pleasure to grow. Germination was fast and easy, and she grew well the entire time. Even with my mistakes, she kept growing strong. She responded well to LST and topping, and wasn't picky for nutrients. I only vegged her for a little over 4 weeks because I was worried about the contest, and that is my biggest regret. I wish I would have vegged her for two or three more weeks. She would have been a monster. She did not have any pest, disease, or mold problems. She was strong and resilient throughout the grow. Great genetics. I dried her for a week, and trimed up 25g of nice dense buds and kept 6g of trim for edibles. The smell of ripe bananas is very evident. She has a sweet kushy taste after a week of drying. I can't wait to try her after a good cure. I took her to about 40% amber, and the effect is a relaxing head high and a pronounced feeling of muscle relaxation. A potant strain indeed. I am very pleased with this strain and will run again.
