Frostbanger Plants 1-6 First thank you if you actually look at all these pictures that I photobomb with each week. Documenting six plants on a tester strain to provide ample information regarding the new strain characteristics takes a lot of time, work, and effort. I am so frustrated with Grow Diaries system doesn’t load pics or videos without error. When I load pictures, I am systematic and load every picture on that plant together, each video that I load first on the pictures identifies the plant pictures that follows. However, Grow Diaries puts the videos first, moving the picture out of order. I know which pictures of plant parts go with each plant, but with GD shuffling my pictures around good luck everybody else. This week I had so many errors uploading simple pictures that I had to go back and reload them. You may see multiple duplicate pics this time due to these system errors. Sorry about that but at least they are there. I will not do this level of photographs and diary support again. Still keeping an eye on the early yellowing. I think I've been letting my soil dry out too much between waterings so it wasn't efficiently absorbing the nutrients. I'm hoping the worm tea and more frequent watering schedule will remedy the problem. I feel like the buds aren't swelling as much as they should this far into the bloom but trichome production looks great! I'm hoping I can take them both to at least 65 days before chopping but we'll see. No amber yet except a few on sugar leaves. Thoughts/suggestions appreciated!!! Edit (12/14/17): Just gave the girls some molasses with the last watering (only .5 TBSP/Gallon) Check my Xmas Grow Special video!!!

RQS Titan F1 week 5 Hello friends and followers, 2/25 This has been an exciting week. My Titan girls started flower 🌼. T3 in the 3-gallon air pot is larger at 6.5 inches. Last week I noticed her new growth was getting long and thin. A sure sign the pistils will emerge in a day or two. T3 started flower 🌼on 2/25. 2/26 Surprise surprise, T3 stretched an inch overnight and T2 about a.5 inch. That stretch meant I had a busy plant workday ahead. First, I defoliated T3 since I could see what I had to work with. Then because I’ve been following @yan402 on his Titan grow, I said I was going to top her. He said its ok if done correctly and at the right time. Well, fingers crossed 🤞, I hope it was not too late or cut in yhe wrong place since T3 was already in flower. Her short (.75-1” long) stems are so close to the stem, it was difficult getting the tie down pins placed. With T2’s stretches her tippy top is just peeking above the copper pot rim. She is towering 😅 at 2.5 inches. T2 was defoliated on 2/26 as well. Her defoliation pictures above show how many I was able to trim off 7 and the leaf relative size. T2’s largest leaf is the size of a quarter and the smallest set I cut off, about the size of a penny. I keep supplementing and folar spraying with Cal-mag but the internodal chlorosis is still visible. I think Teapot gal (T2) has a copper excess.  Slowed Growth,  Fewer branches  Internodal Chlorosis  Stumpy roots (I won’t see this until I harvest and reveal the root ball) Given these symptoms of copper excess, and that RQS Titan are F1 hybrids and should be stable, I believe the height and the health differences are attributable to the copper wire teapot. They are in the same soil, same tent environment, same nutrient solution, same light, same everything. As I stated in previous discourse, I expected the overall plant to be smaller than T3 simply based on the pot size but did not expect to see such size differences so early, not to mention the nutrient issues. How I wonder? The copper wire is separated from the plant and soil by coco liner (which should be neutral, then coffee filters because I thought the soil would was out). Then the soil and plant. T2 is towering at 2.5 inches and started flower on 2/29. I expected a delay in her flowering time (4 days after T3) since she was transplanted to the teapot when T1 failed to thrive (maybe also the teapot cause?). Any time you train your plants, the stress causes delays in flowering then harvest. I defoliated T2 on 3/1 day 30. The pictures after defoliation show the tight node structure with 3 or 4 nodes crammed in only 1.5 inches of the main stem. Sheesh. So, as we enter March, we are off and growing buds. RQS says harvest 70-75 days or 40-45 days of flower. My calculations – harvest will be April 13-18. Be sure to come for my tea

04/18/2026 Readings: pH: 5.2 EC: 1331 cm TDS: 947 ppm Temp: 66.4° First thing to note is that the dehumidifier is just not strong enough to get through to the top of the plant. So the humidity is like 50.1% temp is fine. I'd like it a little bit lower, but this is what I got to work with. 04/19/2026 Oops. Something happened with my notes yesterday. Hopefully they don't delete again. Readings: after pHing. It was 5.31 pH: 5.88 EC: 1386 cm TDS: 892 ppm Temp: 65.5° Well, it's 420 and I have emptied the bucket so I can pH the water. Pretty easy. But still I really hate pumping out the water. Kinda feels like I'm suffocating her. So mean. I couldn't send a trichome video, so we will have to figure out my phone. It's pretty close, so I could get some pics good enough to see if it's cloudy or clear. Amber. There was a decent amount of it all around. Readings after pH pH: 5.76 EC: 1863 cm TDS: 980 ppm Temp: 68.0° 04/21/2026 Readings: pH: 5.77 EC: 1395 cm TDS: 990 ppm Temp: 63.9° Anyone notice yesterday? The only 2 things that changed are the EC and Temp. Ummm something is wrong with the EC reading. I must have mistyped yesterday or something. Anyway, there may be a nutrient lock out. Or something, because I'm getting other tissues. Mostly at the top. It seems the already damaged leaves do not fix. Like the canoeing that's still there, will it go away? The spots on the top leaves look spotty. I don't think those will go away, but the leaf stacking. That should go away, right? The environment looks good today. No complaints whatsoever. Nothing to note. Finally, right?! Lol As for the plant. She is officially EATING the Blue Dream. So much so that it's pushing the whole thing over. I think I'm gonna harvest the blue dream little early. At least earlier than I wanted. Half the plant is flopped over now. Not clue why. It was just that one branch and then I guess the weight of that and the upper branches just led them to collapse as well. What the shit is that? 04/22/2026 Readings: pH: 5.5 EC: 1409 cm TDS: 1000 ppm Temp: 67.1° Looks like nutrient lockout. After pHing : pH: 5.97 EC: 1450 cm TDS: 1003 ppm Temp: 63.3° 04/23/2026 Readings: pH: 5.80 EC: 1431 cm TDS: 1020 ppm Temp: 68.5° 04/24/2026 Readings: pH: 5.7 EC: 1459 cm TDS: 1030 ppm Temp: 66.5° So I harvested the Blue Dream. A little earlier than what I was expecting, but it needed to be harvested. Anyway, apparently Apple Strudel has really heavy branches and were pushing the Blue Dream over. Well, when I pulled the blue dream out of the tent, this little lady nearly fell over. It was stuck with the Blue Dream. But once they were apart, the rest of the plant fell over. So I put up my trellis to at least help keeping the branches off the ground or even worse, snapping entirely. Ioght have to harvest her early too. The bends in those branches are insane. However, I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this one is done. Like done done. Lots of amber tons of cloudy and very few clear. I wanna flush her. At least for a couple days. But I'm really concerned with the branches laying on each other. This is a disaster waiting to happen. Mold, powdery mildew. Nothing else, I won't get any bugs or anything like that. So I hope leaving them like that won't hurt too bad. I should try to get the 2 big ones up. 04/25/2026 Readings: pH: 5.63 EC: 1500 cm TDS: 1060 ppm Temp: 68.0° As we can see here, there is definitely a nutrient lockout somewhere. It's probably because of the size of the roots. The roots have taken over the bucket. I need like a 10 gallon for this plant. Lol. Anyway, I have concerns about the fallen branches are stacking on top of each other. Just in 1 spot. But it's a good spot for mold to grow. So I need to figure out what to do with the top 2 branches. The environment is actually looking great! As it's the last week of life I'm gonna leave it alone. 71° and 50% humidity. I'd much rather 40%, but the 50% is pretty steady. And 71° mimics the outdoors getting cooler. This should work in theory, but we'll see. Honestly, this plant is kind of hard to diagnose. There's all kinds of stuff happening all at once and I'm trying to find the source. Then I can work my way out. Or something like that.i can use some yoyos for a couple of the branches. But the rest are pretty flimsy. Waterlogged. I'm guessing and it's because of the roots. It has to be. I just can't find a source. Damnit.

Aaaah che settimana ASSURDA. Ovviamente questo è tutto un work in progress, non si finisce mai di migliorare.. Adesso ho dovuto sostituire la luce cinese che mi si era rotta dopo 3-4 giorni, facendomi maledire la volta che ho deciso di andare low budget >:S Poi ho spento la ventola, che buttava dentro (eh si, perchè invertire i poli non fa effetto) aria fredda, e l'ho sostituita con una piccola stufa, che mantiene la temperatura costante sopra i 20°C. Primo di allora avevo 16-15°C costanti tutto il giorno, la terra non si è mai asciugata come si deve e le ragazze hanno avuto problemi a fare fotosintesi, probabilmente dovuta alla scarsa qualità dei led cinesi :( Iniziamo con un breve recap: La runtz auto è andata. Probabilmente è affogata :( Le tre auto del mio amico per lo stress di questi giorni sono entrate in fioritura! Mannaggia, mi sa che non ci tiro fuori neanche un bonsai :/ La girl scout cookies auto è germogliata nella serretta! Che bello, son cosi contento! Ho dovuto metterle una stampella per tenersi dritta, ma piano piano crescerà.. Le mie in veg, la banana sherbet e la critical 707, le trovate nel loro diario - purtroppo hanno avuto un arresto di crescita, dovuto a vari problemi di freddo e luce.. Le due gemelle Bruce Banner stanno bene, sembrano piante pronte a crescere in maniera gigantesca! E' probabile che una di loro la cederò ad un amico che mi restituirà poi dei cloni in futuro! La monster skittlez sta benone, una pianta che darà ottime soddisfazioni! Sembra un pò carente in qualcosa, ma mi darò un'altra settimana prima di cominciare a pensare di cambiare illuminazione o fertilizzanti.. Il mio amico dovrebbe prendere casa a inizio mese, spero che riesca a sistemarsi entro le prime settimane in modo che possa avere il tempo per far crescere ancora di qualche internodo prima di toppare e fare cloni per me e i miei amicissimi :))

Almost doubled her height this week!!!!!! Growing as well as she can. Getting quite rootbound in the cup. I'm thinking she will enter flowering in the coming week.

3/23 12AM Monday. BKO I made from crossing Gelato 44 and Bubbles Blueberry F4 is way better than I thought LOTS of color. All are doing good, even with soft water..as long as I flush out way more than im used to. That’s an awesome success story, congratulations on pulling off that pollen chuck and getting viable seeds from your targeted branch! As a non-professional breeder working in a home setup (with the challenges of being homebound and managing everything solo), nailing a deliberate cross like this is seriously impressive. You basically created your own hybrid: **Blueberry Bubbles F4** (from Brothers Grimm Seeds, a refined take on DJ Short’s classic Blueberry lineage—sweet, creamy blueberry terps with vanilla, subtle lavender/chamomile, and those nostalgic fruity/skunky notes) pollen hitting a **Gelato 44** (the Tyson 2.0 collab with Royal Queen Seeds, which is Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint GSC—potent, indica-dominant with citrus-cookie-earth-mint flavors, high THC around 22%, and dense, resinous buds). The result you got—those **bright red calyxes** (the small, teardrop-shaped protective structures that hold the pistils and get super frosty with trichomes)—is a beautiful, eye-catching phenotype expression. It’s not something you see every day, and it turned out “really nice” as you said. ### Why the Bright Red Calyxes? In cannabis, calyx color can shift dramatically due to genetics, environment, or stress (which you mentioned applying some to the donor plant—classic for triggering unique traits in breeding). Bright red calyxes like in your pic (frosty green leaves surrounding those vivid red pods with amber hairs and tons of trichomes) often mean: - High resin/trichome density (great for potency and extracts). - Aesthetic appeal—looks killer in photos or jars. - Potentially enhanced terps/flavors from the stress/genetic shuffle (maybe more berry/cookie depth). Even if replicating it exactly is tough (breeding is part science, part luck with phenotypes), you’ve got keeper genetics now. If you snap more pics of the full buds or plant, I’d love to see how it fills out.👨‍🔬 3/24 4:07 AM Montel dream widow is doing great so are the two Mike Tyson‘s and the bubbles I have a Cork Screw auto in there I kind of made a mistake. I couldn’t tell it wasn’t flowering and I moved it from one tent to the other, so that one has been flowered and bagged and back to flower. I don’t know what’s gonna happen but they’re all looking great. Wish I could figure out what I’m doing right now but having these two lights instead of one at lower wattage and getting a lot of runoff, I take them into the bathtub to water them now just to make sure that the EC is where I want it to be when I’m done. It’s a heck of a lot more work this way and I didn’t mean to have this many going so it’s still working out really good though. So I have all the trailer Park boys, Montel, iced tea, two Mike Tyson’s and the one that I made the blueberry knockout that one’s really nice. I can put this on that tumor on my neck since I can never seem to die. 3/25 1:30PM MONTEL!!!! DREAM WIDOW IS THE STAND-OUT FOR LOOKS AT THE MOMENT..... Montel's Dream Widow is looking absolutely killer in these photos. The undulating, "tarantula-like" leaf pattern emerging from the buds is one of the coolest and most distinctive traits I've seen on a cannabis plant in a while. Those long, serrated fan leaves are curling and radiating outward from the cola in a wavy, almost spidery or "hairy" fashion, giving the whole bud a wild, textured, almost alien look. The heavy frost (those dense white trichomes coating everything) combined with the way the leaves are twisting and overlapping makes it look like the flower is exploding with movement. It's hypnotic and unique—definitely not your standard dense, compact cola. Why this happens This phenotype is likely a combination of: Genetics from the Montel's Dream Widow strain (a cross involving Widow family genetics—often White Widow or Widow relatives—with strong sativa-leaning or hybrid vigor that can produce more "leafy" or "foxtail" bud structures). Some Widow lines are known for expressive, airy, or "spidery" bud formations where leaves protrude dramatically from the calyxes. Even in that small 1-gallon pot, she's putting out impressive colas with great structure, density in the center, and that signature "tarantula" flair on the edges. Many people with chronic pain or limited routines find that consistent, purposeful movement like this (without it feeling like “gym time”) helps keep things stretched and functional far better than doing nothing. The fact that it gives you a reason to move regularly, beyond just the plants themselves, adds real value. As long as you’re listening to your body (stopping when it feels off, not overdoing heavy lifts in one session), this kind of activity is sustainable and beneficial. Ganja Farmer Seeds AK 2.0 XL Day 25 from sprout Light:Viparspectra XS2000 dialed in at 75% Top and bottom watering every other day to every 2 days Almost starting week 4 for this AK 2.0 XL. She has done very well with LST and is starting to show faster growth the past week. Everything is going well and looking healthy :) Planning on another week or more for her to start pre flower which would work out well. See you all in a week! happy growing!

Hello people week # 9 is at the start, unfortunately I can not get the humidity below 40% but we always stay in the 40s, this is accompanied by a temperature of max 26c. The buds are in production, you can clearly see a difference from last week. This strain is a late bloomer. The harvest is still difficult to estimate when that will be. I fertilize them as on the BioBizz plan until week 10 and I rinse them for another 2 weeks. A little tip: if you turn the pots 1/4 circle every day, this simulates different wind directions. The plant reacts differently to it than when it stands still in a place for 10 weeks. As already mentioned, my rules for autoflowering are: LESS IS SOMETIMES MORE. This helps beginners to take their time to study the plant. To understand the stages of development. Mastering the harvest is only possible through experience. Thanks for your time and for reading.
