Week 25 - Frosty buds! Finally some time this weekend to defoliate! And look what I found: lots of frosty buds. The smell is delicious. Sweet lavender aromas, very warm. I like it a lot. Is this what she will taste like, too? Harvest is close.

Second week of flower and my ladys have all grown rapidly in the last week bud seem to be blooming already at a decent size also main stem has gone quite thick.

Die Ladys sind jetzt ordentlich am wachsen

(TNC MycorMax scheint einen Stickstoffüberschuss zu erzeugen. Hatte im Sommer auch je einen halben Teelöffel unter den Samen gegeben bei drei Pflanzen und alle hatten massive Probleme mit Stickstoffüberschuss. So auch hier die Banana Purple Punch. Bei der Gelato habe ich testweise das Zeug weggelassen und sie krallt die Blätter nicht ein.) Zum Größenvergleich Bilder mit einem Feuerzeug. Beide FastBuds Pflanzen bisher sind ziemlich enttäuschend. Triebe, höchstens (!) zweimal so lang wie mein Daumennagel und schon steif mit ersten Anzeichen der Vorblüte. Vergleicht das einfach mal mit der Sunshine LSD Auto, die ich im Sommer in 20l angebaut und so ziemlich alles falsch gemacht habe. Das Teil war ein Monstrum. Selbst jemand, der seit vielen Jahren mit Photoperiodischen zu tun hat und mir von Autoflowers abriet, war sehr sehr positiv überrascht, was das Teil unter widrigsten Umständen geliefert hat. Die Buds waren so schwer, dass ich alles abstützen musste, damit nicht alles umkippt. Alleine die Hauptcola über 30cm. Wirkung hat auch gepasst. Unglaubliches Teil. Und was haben wir hier hier? Was wird das? Ein Zwergenwunderland? Ich bin ziemlich enttäuscht aber vielleicht geschieht ja noch ein Wunder. Verstehe jetzt, warum von Autoflowers Indoor wegen Stromkosten/-verschwendung abgeraten wird. Das hier wäre was für meinen Balkonkasten im Sommer aber nicht für nen 14l Topf unter 240 Watt. Hatte nach der billigen aber bombastischen Sunshine LSD Auto von 66seeds echt mehr erwartet von Breedern, die sich speziell auf Autoflowers spezialisiert haben. Wenn der Ertrag so winzig ausfällt, wie das, was ich hier in den Kübeln habe, war es das mit FastBuds. Habe noch eine Blackberry Auto und einen Mix Pack mit fünf Samen da. Aber alleine dafür sind es mir die teuren Strompreise nicht wert. Ein Miniaturwunderland kann ich auch woanders bestaunen gehen. Falls jemand einen Tipp hat, wo man ähnliche Autostrains wie die Sunshine LSD findet, bitte her damit ;) Die ist gut aber immer nur Skunk Geschmack wird auf Dauer langweilig. Noch eine Geschäftsidee für FastBuds: Verkauft doch mal Mikrowerkzeuge für's LST. Einen 2,5mm Draht kann ich da nicht dran machen.

Things are going well, apart from the high humidity in the air here, creating moss on the surface of the soil, very annoying. 01/02 only pre-flowers have appeared so far, its characteristic scent is already noticeable

It grows very fast, I will use the 12/12 mode from tomorrow;) you can see a few spots on the leaves, but the problem has been eliminated. great home in AMS. I'm new, so I don't know a lot yet, but I have a very good teacher who, if I have any questions, very quickly advises me on how to deal with her:) thank you very much to my teacher :)

Looking lovely just way to over crowded so we went out and got another little setup to remove a couple later on 💪

Drying and curing always the biggest challenge for me due too constant climate change in my area, living near the mountains have its flaws too..🧐 Oh well still love growing..✌️

So, I believe the plant has russet mites. I found some eggs in another grow room. It would explain how the colas are forming. I have had russet mites a long time ago. I have not found them on this plant or any in the room. With being super tiny thus may be the reason. All I can do is rinse her off good. I don't prefer to smoke or ingest any chemicals. I will likely do the smoke report and grind the rest up for infusing. The mites would explain a lot of why it is growing strangely. I treated the walls with neem oil. Once the room is clear I will treat and clean everything good. We will now take you there live, to the transcript of that interview L..N.:"So 1 Leaf, what has been the key to your recent success?" 1: "I think the biggest keys have been taking advantage of light and nutrients while also making sure i stay well hydrated." L.N.: "How has all the success changed your life and is it hard not to let it go to your head?" 1: "Nah it doesnt go to my head cuz Im pretty much topped all the way around. I believe its important to stay in touch with your roots and remember where you came from. What makes you who you are. I had a rough dome life growing up and like to stay in touch with that part of me and use it as motivation. L.N. "motivation for what? What would you like to change?" 1: "I don't want young clones growing up feeling the way I felt. Indica, Sativa, Hybrid....we're all the same genus. Indoor plants...outdoor plants....we all need to come together. We dont have to agree about everything just respect one another regardless of what color our leaves are, the spectrum we prefer, whether or not we are foliated or defoliated, nutrient burned or nutrient deficient." L.N. "That sounds down right reasonable 1 Leaf. You should probably be ruler of the universe. What about all the strainists and haters? If plants want something to blindly hate then why not just hate seedling molesters? Just cuz an indica or a sativa wronged you doesnt mean they all will. There's good and bad phenotypes of all strains....but there aren't any good seedling molesters. So let's all just hate them instead. L.N.: "That might be the most logical thing I've ever heard. That's fantastic. So how do u want to finish your career?" 1: "My ultimate goal is to get into flower and become a legendary bud and resin producer. That's my dream. Then once I'm done with the flower game, I want to be rolled up into a big ol' hooter, light me up and pass my ass around the world so everybody can get lit together and stop being dicks to each other. Had a couple of the stems which were almost drooping on the ground due to the weight of the buds, so decided to harvest those two branches today. Also, this week I did a bit more research on when to harvest. I had been waiting for the trichomes to begin to turn amber, but after reading this article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest, I decided to harvest when the trichomes were cloudy. Experts say that the amber trichomes give a more relaxing effect, but I was growing this plant for daytime use. Looked at it under my digital microscope and decided to pull the trigger on the whole plant. Plus, the neighbors were starting to notice the smell. Final height - 104" - 8 1/2 feet - 2.64 meters. Not good. Was concerned that someone would hop the fence and pilfer my plant. Harvested her at 35 weeks - 281 days. Grow diaries really needs to expand the weeks available for us outdoor growers. Started her indoors in Feb. Transplanted outside on April 7th.

Everything is going really well. I am now following a strict EC guideline and it's truly helped me not fuck up the plants at all, thus far. **fingers crossed** The addition to Fish Sh!t has only made things wonderful. From my understanding it just allows the roots to, in essence, eat what they need - vs - being fed what you get. So far, I can't argue. Pues este ha sido el proceso desde nacer hasta ya casi cosecvha, creo estar dandoles esta semana y la proxima para quitarlkes el agua y darles 48 horas de oscuridad y finalmente el corte mayor para el disfrute de las cosecha. ersta vez utilice un producto que si no me equivoco es de fox farm para engordar las flores y me resulto muy bueno, este cultivo quise irme limpio lo mayor posible para observar resultados. Me agradan pero siermpre es bueno hacer uso de algunso buenos nutrientes deacuerdo a la etapa que esten, como se vean, lo que identificquemos en cada una de ellas. Es toy muy contento por que el olor es fuerte, tengo toda la casa olorosa, el olor es frutoso, como a Starburst de cherry, muchos terpenos como pueden ver, y de solo tocarlas un poco waooo! la habitacion se explota en esa fragancioa, creeanme que la experriencia es del mas halla. Let’s dive into the details! Environmental Updates: A Chill in the Air 🌬️ This week, temperatures in the grow room dipped to around 21-22°C, with relative humidity (RH) holding steady at 65%. While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers.
