Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. Filling out the trellis net. Looks like another 2-3 weeks until I flip the ladies. Using SST’s, LABS and natural inputs for this grow. I have made some mistakes in the past using Organics, but have figured out HOW to use them for an entire grow. The vegetative state, I have never had a problem with. The transition into the first 3 weeks is when I have had the most issues. After a little research and testing, I finally have a basic blue print of how to feed plants in flower for 10-12 weeks now or shorter. Mark Bowell from Perfect Gardens on YouTube and Mr Canucks Grow from Canada are my largest information inputs. Final Thank you to Mr McGooz for keeping me in the know. 10-11: yes, some of the stalks are turning purple. This is not due to phosphorus, magnesium, or any deficiency. It is due to the light being too intense for the plants. I am at the max distance and running the light at 30% ( it’s a 600 watt 🤣🤣). Soooo yeah, that purple is going to stay for a bit. Purple with other leaf discoloration or senescence IS a problem, purple stems with NO leaf issues isn’t serious issue. Cant it be fixed? We are going to find out….Photosynthesis Plus will be on hand in the next 5-6 days. This permits the plant to USE more of the photons ( yes, I have carbon in my media). This should minimize the purple and allow me to UP THE WATTS 🗣️🗣️ 10-14: spoke to my “guide” and we made the decision to go ahead and flower these ladies. We saw how much stretch there is to be had and realized we are currently filling the trellis by 75%. We are estimating the entire 4x4 area to be completely filled. I defoliated and pruned the smaller sites off the lower areas of the plant. Not quite lollipopping, just selectivity choosing sites to keep and bones that will get in the way. For transition I am using a ratio of 1:1:1 on NPK’s to ease the flip. The ppm’s will be between 750-800. Once we reach early flower, we switch the NPK’s to 1:3:2 ( flower girl by Dr Earth OR Fish bone meal and langbenite). I switch each feeding between the two for 5-6 weeks. At week 7 we switch to 0:3:3 ( seabird guano and Langbeinite) at 500 ppm’s. Week 8 the same feed. Week 9 kelpseaweed/water Only ( these are 10 week cultivars). Yes, normally one freaks out 😂😂😂 The slight deficiency is a sign that I can go ahead and start: The Flowering Cycle. When using Organics, you have to use your eyes because nothing is specific. Meaning: you have to see when the amendments are running out to A: Top Dress B. Make compost teas. We are going the compost tea route for flower. I made a video showing exactly what I use. The ratio is 5-5-5 ( yes earlier we were going to use 2-2-2, but we found out there is no calcium or magnesium in the all purpose mix by Dr Earth…another reason to learn to read your plants).

She’s recovered from defoliation and buds are everywhere. THe tent is smelling great. Almost to the halfway point in flowering. Getting excited to see her swell.

The plants seem pretty strong and resilient, have a interesting smell. The buds are very different from a plant to another in shape and trycome production. I had to cut them early because of the high heat, but the majority of the trycomes were milky.

Week 4 flower she is looking good, haven't been doing alot just full reservoir when empty thats all.

LED dimmed down to 40%, i.e. 48 Watt. Tatanka Pure CBD Seed died on 2nd day (watch Video). Replacing it with Painkiller XL and Northern Light auto - hopefully they spout fast and healthy this time.

Not going to grown this one so soon. There are plenty of better option from this seed bank. Could not reach buds as good as they ones from hulkberry. It's a bigger plant with more banana like buds and not so dense and round. But still a strong high and enjoyable smoke.

i started to intensify the feeding schedule as for Biobizz and i notice a nice stretch of the plant, in the last 15days she grew almost 20 cm which is good news. i struggle to have decent light outdoor but she is doing her best . the bud growth is not impressive to not say quite slow nonetheless i hope there will be a fast build up toward the last weeks , there is still plenty of time. My cat is still chewing on my plant from time to time, i think he understood that i care about it and every time is upset with me he takes a chunk off it.

But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / co2 / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. 4/10 Hey all. So I obviously slacked off on keeping a journal. Easier said than done when life gets busy. This is for anyone who took a passing interest in this plant because this was a relatively new strain from In-house.When I last left, I was reporting yellowing in the plant and general sadness in how she looked. Long story short, I think it was the enviornment it struggled with. I ended up switching it to my "warmer" tent that was closer to the space heater. It ended up growing more when I did this. That being said, it never seemed to fully recover. I ended up flipping to 12/12 (not recommended if you have a struggling plant) only because I was starting to run out of space. Fortunately for me, it seems like the plant has never been healthier. The buds are coming in nicely thus far and smell great. I think spring came just in time for her. The tent now routinely gets up to about 75-77 degrees F instead of the balmy 72-69 F I was dealing with months ago. Regardless, this journal WILL have a happy ending. Happy growing everyone.

Today I gave it another load of nutrients from Hesi TNT Complex 4ml/L Hesi PowerZyme 2ml/L Hesi Root Complex 5ml/L Hesi SuperVit 0.2ml/L Now it can spend another 2 weeks in the veg phase, then new shoes 30L, then recover and off into flowering. D36. We started the sixth week of veg, and the girls are rocking it in the tent. Today, I moved the humidifier to the front and installed the scrog net. I'll let the girls fill the net before flipping them into flowers. I gave each girl 2 liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml/liter homemade bokashi juice. ------------------------------ D38. I gave each girl 2-5-liters of water @ pH 6.4, with 10ml of humic acid. ------------------------------ D39. The girls are slowly filling in the scrog. I'll leave them for another few days and then flip at the start of next week. Removed a few leaves below the scrog. (I like to defoliate as I go along.) I moved the mushroom kit over to the side of the tent. No shrooms yet, but it will be more out of the way there. ------------------------------ D40. Brewed a simple compost tea (worm castings, rock dust, molasses) and gave each girl 2 liters @ pH 6.4. These ladies don't like too much light during veg, and I'm seeing taco leaves toward the end of the day, indicating that they have had enough. I will slightly drop the DLI tomorrow and see how they respond. ------------------------------ D42. The last day in the sixth and final week of veg. The girls are looking great! The scrog is a bit empty in the middle of the second girl, but I'm hoping some lower branches will fill those holes in the coming days. Healthy and vibrant, and they are ready to move on. I flipped the lights to the flower-inducing program after the girls went to sleep to give them a fresh start when waking up. The clones I took last week have rooted, and I'll transplant them into 1-liter pots tomorrow. I hooked up a drip watering system as I'll be traveling soon, and I want enough time to dial it in correctly before leaving. Finally, I gave the girls a fulvic acid foliar spray. One of their last foliar sprays as we're heading into flower. ------------------------------
