Commencing Week 10 - 2nd week of flowering - Day 64 from germination - Day 14 of 12/12 on December 26th All is awesome! 😁 Although all plants have hairs right now, 818#1&2, BH2, & GZ2 (especially 818s) seem to start throwing hairs just a few days before the rest. RD is stretching out rather nicely and is working in sync to make a nice level and full canopy. Have noticed the pH of the nutrient solution now swings very low with every plant, especially the bigger ones, within 24 hrs going from 5.8 down to 3.8-4.3. I pH back up accordingly every day. Lastly I decided to go with "bonsai" training instead of topping. (This is in order to keep plants growing at a steady pace - non-stunting - while taking away the apical shape that is natural for some strains.). I "bonsai'd" The following: GZ1&2&3, AND 818#1. Simply put I coiled bonsai wire around the main cola and bent below the next lowest node /tier (see photos) The other s: RD, BH 1&2, and 818#2 have a natural level/close to level shape. D.65/15 Started tucking leaves and light stress training. So far I have taken only 3-4 leaves off per plant. And other than coiled the Apex cola they are been untouched. Also to balance out the pH drop, I have been pHing to the 6.0-6.2 range. Seems to steady the solution better so I will continue. Lastly I have put both the fans and the oxygen pumps on a 15m on 15 m off interval throughout the 24 hr day. I thought it might be risky however the plants seem not to mind, rather maybe even like this better. D.69/19 Yesterday I added a tiny bit of bloom food high in phosphate to help with the flowering since it's picking up now, as well as some extra Cal Mag and the plants seem happier because of it. And I have still been putting the pH a little higher, in the 6.1 range, rather than a 5.8 since it seems to be dipping low every time I check rather than going up. Also I put these pumps back on 24 hrs per day because after two days of being on for 12 hours her day they seemed not as happy as they were prior. Lesson learned with that one no harm done so that's a good thing. The raspberry diesel is really taking up the space wonderfully in between the four plants in the corners and is becoming almost + shaped really filling in the canopy just like the description online says don't vegfor long because the flower phase stretch is something to behold. 818 headband number one has a really beautiful medium sized stature not too short but not tall and lanky either and tons of Bud sites and is looking the most bud-filled already whether that means it will have the most yield or be done the fastest, or both we'll have to wait and see., All three of the Gorilla Zkittles seem to have slightly different phenotype variation one a little bit more sativa than the other two that are more hybrid looking. All 3 have very different root masses compared to the rest of the plants and are pretty big but one in particular is absolutely huge. (Comparisons will be posted in next week's update.) the Boss hogs also seem to have very different phenotype expressions as of now one is staying much more short and having a very level canopy naturally and no hairs, while the other is close to a level canopy but still has a little bit of that main cola dominant feature as well as a lot more hairs. I even found a couple keeper phenos as well. The black magic soil and fertilizer, along with the aerated nutrient teas that these ladies were feed worked to perfection. 27 day flowering

These girls although still continuing upwards stretch are very short plants. Hoping they really continue to reach hard. Ran out of potassium silicate. Will be continuing with out it for the rest of the grow.

Without PH testing fluid I had to adjust the tap+nutrients by memory, but i'm fairly accurate and only off the target(5.8) by .2 most of the time. 12/22 Did another reservoir swap again this time unplanned, because i'm still unable to PH until tomorrow. The things we do for dank buds lol! Adjusted some of the Low stress training a little more severe LST to prepare for a late 'SCROG' i'm putting in tomorrow. 12/23 A late 'SCROG' was applied to the plants today to make the lateral dormant buds grow vertical as best as possible. With a Late "screen of green" like this its mainly used to LST and get better airflow. If you are looking to weave tops and get an even canopy then you will want to SCROG while at the end of Veg. PH fluid arrived today so the reservoirs were adjusted to 5.8 after being topped off. 12/24 PH was really low so there is a possible 'acid rain' effect. I adjusted the PHs to 6.0 to compensate and I will reservoir swap the buckets if the PH drops this low again tomorrow. I did some adjustments to the LST using the scrog. 12/25 Reservoirs had a really low PH again so I did a Res swap on all 3 plants to avoid a possible acid rain effect. Essentially that's when C02 dissolves into your water forming CarbonicAcid before dropping 2 H+ protons and causing the PH to lower and turn acidic. I PHed the fresh reservoir to 5.8 and cleaned the tent out. I didn't do any training today. 12/26 I extended the intake duct to deliver the cold outside air directly underneath the focus plants canopy to lower temperatures and force purpling. I adjusted all 3 plants to 5.8 PH and topped of the reservoir on 2 of them. The focus plant has been growing fantastically. 12/27 All of the reservoirs needed topped off and of course they had their PHs adjusted to 5.8. I moved the plants apart a slight bit and did some adjustments to the SCROG for better training and airflow. Temperatures might be getting low at night, but unless it gets worse I will be fine and just consider this an attempt to get more purple. 😋 ______________________________________________________________________________ Week 7 is complete and in the Books. These Girls are thriving on low levels of Bloom + Calmag. It's as if these genetics have replaced all Nitrogen needs with an insatiable desire for CalMag. I really cant seem to give them enough Magnesium to satisfy them at this stage. Overall in this week I have trained the focus plant down into a SCROG and spread out her reach so the colas individually grow vertical. She took a day to recover totally, but she rebounded just fine and spent the rest of the week pumping out pistils. Around day 5 on the week the focus plant started to show just a little bit of color between her pistils so it looks like we have some nice color to look forward to in the coming weeks. Here we go! Week 7 of Flower and I finally have some pictures and a video of the Honeysuckle! The nugs are starting to fill in and harden up. The smell is starting to get a lot stronger.

Last week in the vegetative stage for these OGs, they're already tall and full of nodes so I'm flipping into flowering light schedule NOW! I think this will be the last week with nutrients then I'll do two with just water and hopefully she will be ready for harvest. Three weeks left? Sound right? Day 99: no water added. Day 100: added one gallon pH 6.5 (think it was closer to 7) water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Day 101: no water added. Nothing to report. Day 102:Nothing to report. Day 103:Nothing to report. Day 104: one gallon pH6.5 water with nutrients Day 105: no pictures.

It's week 9 of flower and she's been fed her last bit of nutrients. I'll start flushing with BushDoctor's SledgeHammer 2 tsp a gallon. Then just straight water until the chop :)
