She obviously love the new nutritions. Im also working on a bio nutrient out of pigeonshit (yeah i have pigeons). She is stretching about 2-3 cm a day now im reallz astound how fast she is growing now. Critical is also a nice plant to look at. And dont get to upset about my setup. I like it easy and cheap and it also brings me my homegrown cannabis. Just be amused 😄🍁

7 07.25 . Day 43 She just exploded with growth over the past 2 weeks. She is so heavy she keeps falling down. She has stretched alot because she was left in a tent with 3 other plants competing for light. Today I changed out reservoir and gave her new home. 12.07.25. Day 48. Reservoir change out.

It’s the 3rd week of flower so I did a heavy defoliation on day 20. The watering is up to 7 times a day and 1 minute increments. The reservoir is 14 gallons and my total runoff at each reservoir change is only about 1 1/2 gallons in the waste bucket.

Hallo Growmies, Welcome everyone to the third week of the trip to Japan. This week the adventures started and we still have a bumpy road ahead of us before we reach the final destination. After we changed the nutrient solution she definitely seemed more happier .💦 So decided to start with the trainings, on Day 25 topped her and right after started with LST. I expect her to recover quickly from the early stress and start growing strong in the next 2 weeks. 🌱 On day 27 took off 4 big fan leaves. Till day 29 we continued tying the branches and checked and corrected the PH daily. Let the branches up for 2 days to regenerate then we tied them again. PPFD is around 600. Will keep this until the end of the veg period. Everything is going well but there was something to worry about again. I started giving powder silicate to the mix and left a gap between the net pot and the water. In the second day checked the root and noticed that silicate deposited in clumps on the part of the root which is between the net pot and the water. Luckily could wash it off with a shower. So that’s all for this week. See you soon!🌞🌱

I’m a couple days behind on my posting of this girl. But here she is! Growing strong and healthy. I am getting ready to transplant her into a bigger pot soon enough. Then hopefully I will be able to get a picture of a stellar root system. On another note, the field peas in the “400” are coming along, slowly but surely! I plan to transplant into the “400” in approximately 2 months (8weeks). Day 26, I’ve got a larger pot (2.7 L) with my fancy soil, lots of greensand, I checked the pH and it seems stable at 6. I did add a lot of lime. Maybe the lime takes time to raise the pH too? Anyhow, I have potassium silicate to help raise pH if needed. I hope this isn’t a mistake putting her into that. In fact I’m going to add more lime to the top half and then the potassium silicate to water in. Fingers crossed for stable, beautiful, warm and sunny weather!! Happy Growing 💪🌳

Guava root gmo. It’s already starting to wrap around the stems like a gmo plant. The plant is also putting off an extreme smell like gmo. This plant is going to grow some dank for Sure. All of the plants have really taken off. Usually I have a couple plants that are much smaller but all of these plants are getting huge. Seeing I got a new eluefah uap1500 the other day and I have my 2 fastbuds plants under that now I have my spider farmer light free. So I popped up another 2x2 and moved 3 of the 10 plants into the 2x2 and left the 7 other in the 2x4.

I must apologize for the shitty incomplete diary. As I was getting into my stride a load of work came along that took me away from home for several months so I had some real issues finishing the diary.. The harvest was good. I had nearly 800g of flower at the chop which were all frosty chunky dense beasts. The terp profile at chop was a very stinky gassy smell which I would call diesel. Incredibly sticky and pungent. Really treated my extractor.. I had them dry for around 10 days hanging in a dark room with a temp of 19c and RH at 52%.. Thank you to Mrs Laritfor sending me these beans. The genetic is fantastic and very stable both my ants were the same pheno with plant 1 producing slightly smaller buds due to an unfortunate branch snapping incident early on. But the smaller buds were twice as dense ..Just lovely.

🌸 Week 6 Flower – Gelonade Diaries The Gelonade girls continue their elegant dance into flower, both Pheno #1 and Pheno #2 shining in their own unique way. Their structures remain remarkably similar, tall, strong, and full of energy, while each holds onto her own personality, expressed in leaf form and flower shape. This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. Now here we are in Week 6: the garden maturing, the flowers stacking, the personality of the genetics truly revealing itself. 💧 Feeding & Balance The recipe continues to revolve around Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost, Top Booster, and Plagron’s Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation, with Aptus All-In-One Liquid helping tie the orchestra together. We’re keeping EC balanced, always mindful that the soil already provides a strong foundation. 💡 What’s Happening & What’s Next This week is all about observation. Flowers are swelling, resin begins to sparkle in early traces, and aromas start to hint at what’s to come. What to expect: denser buds, richer pistil coloration, and a canopy that will soon demand defoliation for airflow. What not to expect: miracles overnight. This is the stage of patience, where the magic brews quietly within each calyx. 💚 Closing Thought The Gelonades remind us that growth is rarely flawless. A spot on a leaf is not a failure, but a message. Perfection isn’t the goal, balance is. And balance is exactly what these girls are showing us week after week. May the flowers swell with grace, may the leaves whisper their truths, and may the grower’s patience be rewarded in full bloom. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. This is the garden’s way of reminding us that beauty doesn’t always fit a mold, and that variation is part of the magic of growing. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Northern lights is looking a little bit sorry for itself. Unfortunately, she was leaning really heavily towards the ground. So I decided that I was going to use some metal garden pegs to prop her up with. She seems to be doing well in that respect now. The leaves are looking a little bit crazy. I'm not sure what's going on with that, but hopefully, she'll start growing, and she'll grow out of it. I guess we'll have to wait. And see what happens. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 25.9.25: I watered with 1.5L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K PH: 6.5 PPM: 565 The fungus gnats have really increased since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. Thanks for checking in this week, and see you in the comments 👌💚🙌🧡😁
