12/12 stretching

I seem to be improving every time -based on the quantities obtained (70g of buds +15g of leaves) 😁 - this time a marvel of smells and flavors came out 😍 the apical top is decidedly fatter than GG1 (this time I avoided messing with the pH) as well as all the other buds 😍 I don't have much experience with the various strains for now, but I definitely love this one

Day one of week 4. Nutes (BioBizz Grow) 50% of recommended dose have gone in today, I will increase the dose to 1ml for the next watering in 2/3 days. Will introduce BioBizz Bloom next week if no Nutes burn this week. Will do some more LST training tomorrow after another full 18 hrs of sun.. UPDATE - 13th September: Day 2 of week 4, gave the girls a very little trim and some more LST today.. New growth coming through nicely.. UPDATE - 14th September: Day 3 of week 4, Nutes (BioBizz Grow) went in today at 1ml per litre. A little more LST and I finally topped the girls 😍.. UPDATE: 16th September: Day 5 of week 4, 3rd lot of BioBizz Grow Nutes at 1ml/l per plant. Pleased with my four ladies progress so far! Peace ✌️🏼 🍃

🌸 Week 6 Flower – Gelonade Diaries The Gelonade girls continue their elegant dance into flower, both Pheno #1 and Pheno #2 shining in their own unique way. Their structures remain remarkably similar, tall, strong, and full of energy, while each holds onto her own personality, expressed in leaf form and flower shape. This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. Now here we are in Week 6: the garden maturing, the flowers stacking, the personality of the genetics truly revealing itself. 💧 Feeding & Balance The recipe continues to revolve around Aptus Regulator, CalMag Boost, Top Booster, and Plagron’s Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation, with Aptus All-In-One Liquid helping tie the orchestra together. We’re keeping EC balanced, always mindful that the soil already provides a strong foundation. 💡 What’s Happening & What’s Next This week is all about observation. Flowers are swelling, resin begins to sparkle in early traces, and aromas start to hint at what’s to come. What to expect: denser buds, richer pistil coloration, and a canopy that will soon demand defoliation for airflow. What not to expect: miracles overnight. This is the stage of patience, where the magic brews quietly within each calyx. 💚 Closing Thought The Gelonades remind us that growth is rarely flawless. A spot on a leaf is not a failure, but a message. Perfection isn’t the goal, balance is. And balance is exactly what these girls are showing us week after week. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. At this point she was drinking more then 4L a day and due to the root mass that was about all i could fit in the res at the time so I had to mock up a external res and convert the system to RDWC K.I.S.S.

I just let her grow this week. Her buds are starting to get very sticky and I can tell the branches are starting to get heavy. I anticipate adding some additional support soon to keep her from drooping. No problems at all this week. She just continues to grow strong.

Well im super stoked for this diary the "dude" from The Dudes Grow Show sent me this clone from RAW GENETICS 👌 the cultivar is Bacio Belts it pays to be a member of the dgc community super helpful and supportive everyone over there super knowledgeable go check the boys out dudegrows.com on Spotify and YouTube I was so happy to receive this forgot about that all my tents where full at the moment one about to harvest and one about to flip not ideal for this sexy clone that made it all the way across the country hush hush 🤫 so I cleaned out my closet I keep all my supplies and nutes and bam got another veg space stay tuned in for more 😀 DGC 4life

On may 6, the seedling broke through the earth. Seedling developed well in the first week. It was watered every day with a spray bottle (approx. 50ml a day) with collected rainwater in small circles around the seedling. After day 4, the first roots could be seen at the bottom of the pot. This weeks weather was pretty good for the start. The daytime temperatures fluctuated between 18 and 26 degrees in the first week, as you can see from the past weather data. (The weather report is added at the end of each week and is based on real weather events, i.e. it is not a forecast). As already mentioned the plant receives additional hours light from an LED bulb (17W, 4000K, 2500 Lumen) for the first days to make them more resistant to pests and severe weather conditions. She get around 3 hours additional light. In the early morning i move the plant outdoor.

Buds are fattening up pretty well and I've had to use more rubber garden wire and clips to keep the branches from bending over. Smell is increasing on the Northern Light but still a mild skunk on the Black Devil. Also gave the very last feeding on the plants this week so they will get nothing but water until the chop. I'm very happy with the microbe populations so I stopped feeding the sugars (molasses/agave) as the plants themselves don't get much out of them; that stuff is just for feeding the soil beasties. I had added some predatory mites several weeks ago to deal with some springtails, and the mites annihilated the population. I did find a developing larva though so there are still some around. Posted lots of microscope videos today.

The frost is starting to settle. The nights are getting shorter! Harvest time is on the horizon!

She is growing well and received light LST this week

Bit late posting this but the pictures are from D70, with work I didn’t have time until now. They’re still filling out the room ever so slightly. The girl at the front is suffering from light stress even though she’s the shortest, I have dimmed the light above her down to 70%. Out of all the the plants she has been the most difficult to manage from the start and has the smallest root mass. The other plants seem to be handling 100% with no issues. I have to say, at this stage of the grow, they do smell nicer than Strawberry Lemonade, very sweet and perfume like, harder to grow it seems but I am looking forward to trying her in August! Thanks guys!

Bien pues el domingo 15/05/22 hice defoliacion con 66 dias desde la germi. Hoy lunes por la noche, las pongo ya a 12/12 y que empiecen a florecer. Considero que estan robustas y fuertes para la etapa de flora. Me lie con stories y videos y se me paso hace fotos detelladas para aqui... lo siento, os dejo las stories y fotos de esta mañana Creo que vamos a ver buenas cosas aqui :D Son 10 Tropicanna cookies con 48 dias desde la germinacion y 5 MAC, 4 Bannana wafflez y 1 Apple friter con 67 dias desde la germi. Hello everyone week 8 has passed ☀️ They are very well growing at fast pace and with a beautiful green colour on the leaves🤩a lot of buds everywhere🍋 The weather is perfect this year a lot of sun,not too High temperature and the humidity around 50%😎 Some defoliation just 2-3 leaves max to let the sun penetrate the lower buds✂️ Homemade nutrient 100% bio🍌 I force the plants to flower in my garage 100% lightproof😎 So every morning and every night i remove all the plants from my garage at the same hours 💪 See you next week 🤩

Definitely satisfied with the results I m getting from purple punch by Fast Buds!! It’s definitely looking beautiful!!!
