Welcome MJ lovers We are here today for final thoughts on a very interesting strain that I was lucky enough to grow 🍀 TROPICANNA POISON ⚕️ A brand new variety from the famous seed bank, SWEET SEEDS And yes, this definitely has a very sweet scent 🍭 Impossible not to recognize it, even if different varieties are grown all together 🙌 It smells wonderful and quite intense 🤩 I would like to specify as always that I will not dwell too long on the effects it induces, because I am strongly convinced that Cannabis is a decidedly subjective substance.. So the best I can say is that this is a weed that tends to have more effects on the "Indica" side, but is still stimulating for the mind at the same time.. But here are the terpenes to be the master 💯💯 Honestly I haven't done a smoke test because it's still too early (I'm writing this review to be able to participate in the contest) But with the vaporizer you can clearly feel the same hints of sweet tropical fruit with slightly earthy and citrus notes on the palate that were perceived during flowering 🍊🍍🍋🍒 Personally it reminds me a lot of the scent of a bitter orange juice that my grandmother gave me as a child This is also the magical side of these flowers, or at least in general the sensations and memories that certain scents bring to mind.. Fantastic 💚 And if everything is accompanied by a good effect, even better 😎 However.. Week four was definitely the week when the plants started to really grow bigger, I started some LST at my way cause even if I check thousands of videos I end it up doing what I thought was better for my plants, I perhaps was a bit late so it wasn’t stretching as I thought it would have, maybe I shouldn’t have wait this long, but again first time learning a lots.. I let the plant grow with LST only in week 4 in week 5 I introduced a scrog I made myself cause I thought that I couldn’t keep doing lst because I started too late

Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

Day 77 I'm running out of vertical space for pinus contorta, this weekend i will open the box to move the leds higher and will try to do some decent photos. At this point i've added the Pinus purple matcha to the diary because she's huge and impossible to not notice, should be around 1,5m² almost 150cm tall. Had to do a very risky move and "soft crop" 2 apicals because of burn risk, too close to the leds. I wasn't expeting a freakin' tree like that! Day 79 Jeez plz stop growing in height!! After this shaky video i raised the leds 10 cm, now i'm for real out of space.. I'm adding 10 to 12 liters every day, alternating ro with only silica one day and the other with nutrients.

11/05: another week on autopilot. They look like they could use a slight defoliation, but i haven't had a chance to get in there and do it. Will get it taken care of sometime this week. There has been a noticeable growth in flowers this week. No signs of any purple outside of some stems. These look and smell exactly like OG Kush. And that is not what i was expecting at all. I am personally not a fan of OG Kush and so I am really hoping for some significant changes over the next few weeks. If i were growing OG Kush, i would be thrilled with the results. They are growing plump quickly and getting insanely frosty very early - also something that all the OG Kush i have grown does. Alas I am not growing OG Kush, these are what FastBuds told me were Purple Lemonade, and based on all of their marketing material, this is not what I should be seeing or smelling. And im unhappy about that.

One more week I think, just flushed today and checked the run off the PH is at 6,4 and the PPM on 5 of the 6 plants was 330 the one with the burned tips had 665 not to my surprise, but that would explain the nutrient burn, the trichomes are cloudy and there are a lot of amber as well so want to flush this week and hope the fade starts so I can harvest with a fully flushed plant and a good ratio of cloudy to amber trichomes. I know now that I should not have given that last feeding a week ago and should of started the flush but live and learn, 1st time growing these, also the time lapse did not take a whole week not recorded I am super pissed, I will up load a real time video in a day or 2 under regular light, till then hope you all in the states get your Stimulus Check this week end, C ya

Mainlining is progressing nicely. The main stem was topped at the 3rd node, and each main branch was topped again at the 3rd node to build a clean and symmetrical manifold. I always wait until the branches have 5 nodes before topping, to make sure the plant is strong enough to handle the stress. This week I performed a selective defoliation and some light LST, only to guide the branches and keep everything level. I’m still deciding between 8 or 12 main colas, depending on how the plant continues to respond. In the video you can clearly see the before and after of defoliation and training 🌱💪
