16.6.25: Today is Harvest Day! Well this has certainly been a fun one! Really pleased with how she turned out, when I cut her down, it was actually heavy. I'll be interested to see what we yielded here! I did take all of the fan leaves off and some of the sugar leaves too. Just to make the trimming easier, and also help prevent mould during the drying process. The trichomes were very hard for me to tell, but they have quite a lot of amber. So I may have grown some sleeping potion. We will soon find out I guess! 😅 I decided to leave the plant longer than I usually would, I did this to see the difference in effects. This is a low THC strain, so in theory shouldn't produce a couch lock effect. So if it does, it will give me a better idea of the harvest windows. Some of you helped choose this strain to grow, so if you've followed along, I hope you enjoyed this journey. Day 64: new week! Maybe a little overwatered but I think it’s alright! I think I will turn the autopot off for a day tomorrow! This is the light that I’m using for this grow! Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness. This strain likes to stretch a lot so in full swing. Bottom leaves crumbling and turning brown/ yellow. This is in a shared autopot base so increasing nutrient dosages throughout.

In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

Every 5± days from week 5 I suppose I get rid of below leaves and big fan leaves,which don't let the light get to the bottom buds,as was recommended in comments. They react good on that kind of stress and the bottom buds started developing too. Despite the high temperature( 28-30 degrees) they keep on growing and forming buds,happily.

FEEDING As previous weeks, plant was given nutrient solution twice a day in the concentration down bellow -    FloraSeries Gro-->1.8 mL/L -    FloraSeries Micro-->1.2 mL/L -    Flore Series Bloom-->0.6 mL/L -    Calcium solution-->1 mL/L I started with 5L of tap water measured at 240ppm. Then added Calcium solution from gardening store and ppm were around 500. Then Flora series nutrients were mixed in and ppm reading was around 1000. This is to high so I diluted the solution with tap water to 800ppm and ended up with 7.5 L of nutrient solution. Plant was given a total of 12 L of nutrient solution every day. DIARY Day 105 I did some defoliation on the lower branches...nothing too serious, just the leaves that were in contact with the soil. WEATHER REPORT Day 99-100 It was mostly raining these two days. On day 99 we had some hail to, so the plant had to be moved under the roof. Day temperatures were 25 °C, night temperatures were 18 °C Day 101-105 Weather was sunny all the time. There was some raining going on during one night. Day temperatures were 35 °C, night temperatures were 23 °C.

Lemon tree strain is growing big for a seedling

Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. I got my 2 long and narrow paper bags out. The ones the french bread are in at the store. The ones with the long plastic window in them. I went to the male plant, that I have in a different greenhouse, and got some of the open flowers and pollen inside the paper bags. This is a good male. It has lots of flowers, not many leaves, is not too tall, and is good smelling with the "rub the stem and smell your fingers" test. And the smell stays on my fingers for a few minutes, not disappearing in a few seconds. Careful not to dump out the pollen I slid the bag over the buds I pick out. I pinched the bag around the branch and held it with a clothes peg. I gently shoock the bag to get the pollen to each flower pistil. When I closed up for the night I shoock up the bag again. I gently took the bags off the next morning, careful not to spray pollen all over the place, then went a got some more pollen for the next plants. and repeated for all 6 plants. Got some yellowing of some of the older leaves. This is sort of self pruning to me, but I will add some extra nitrogen next time to slow the yellowing. I've seen a few fungus gnats around, but nothing to worry about. Ok. The Adventure Goes On. Be Great. Chuck

Week has been ok, did what I’m guessing was the final tuck into the Scrog net. Will give another couple of weeks and then do second defoliation. Managed to control what was probably a pythium outbreak.. used great white enzymes and another enzyme/bacteria mix and it cleared up and ph stabilised within a day or so.

I had trouble with my humidifier set up so she only took 5 days to hand dry . Fortunately I purchased a programmable humidifier so moving forward it’s all gravy. After everything was cut from branches & weighed she ended up yielding 20gs of some airy foxtaily bud. I knew this would be a disappointment so we’ll just wait to see what the smoke is like , what the smell is like , & what the taste is like .
