Fue un ciclo interesante. Sabía que era poco espacio, pero necesitaba armar esta idea con un poco más de prolijidad. Voy a tener que armar uno más grande, pero entre tanto, los resultados de este indoor me han sorprendido. Las variedades ayudaron mucho también. Eran muy productoras ambas, principalmente la polaris. Ya tengo enraizando las canpat one, pero aún no están listas. Espero pronto arrancar con el próximo proyecto.

Great harvest overall.

Even though they were all born on the same day starting with 10 seeds (6/23/21), 4 out of the 9 (because 1 hermed) matured and finished much quicker than the others. I would say a couple of them have at least another 2 weeks to go. Slowly but surely. My fiancé and myself wet trimmed most. Never trimmed before. Shitload of larf unfortunately. I doubt I have any nugs that weigh heavier than 3.5. Should’ve done a few things differently but do it goes. I made sure to maintain “low and slow” as best I possibly could. 9 plants all at the same age was a ton of work! Used my original tent to dry in. Conditions were about 70 Fahrenheit, and 55%RH. Bought one of them tiered mesh drying racks, and hung it in my 2x2. Few fans at the bottom, and my intake fan at the top of it, exhausting into my 4x8. I’d reckon I got about 3 ounces out of the 4 I took down earlier this week. Amazing feeling smoking your own weed that YOU grew. Seeing it in your jars. It was definitely all worth it. I almost bought another 2 ounces off my weed supplier. Then I realized I didn’t need him anymore. Saved me three hundred bucks right there. Idk If im just unlucky or what, but only a couple of mine had a slight purplish tint. Sorta disappointing. It smokes great tho, even still being in the beginning portion of its cure. I fucked up in multiple aspects, chalk those up to learning. Definitely going to defoliate around day 30, and also make sure my lights aren’t too close like they were here. My greatest mistake was the PH, it was improper for about 3 weeks. Took that long for it to get sorted out. Thus more than 1/4 of the plants life was spent in not perfect conditions. I was putting in water at 10.7, and getting 6 out as runoff…. With that being said, I’ve now got 4 plants to completion under my belt, soon to be 9 so I’m moving away from soil and closer to hydro. Bought an automatic drip feeding system I plan to use for coco. I’m done with fox farms ocean forest. It may be alright, but I’m spending way too much time watering/feeding. Super hot week again, 32c days, she's loving it. Growth slowed a bit, just starting to finally see pistils, so hopefully on track for end of September harvest. Got a new DJI Mini 4K so I don't need to get on a ladder to get pictures anymore! Just drip irrigation and LCPT spray this week and that's it. Full 4K Drone video on YouTube @VanIsleTerps

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

Plants are looking good so far, added about 2ml/gal to the reservoir this week and plants responded well. They are all keeping short and stocky so far and should be able to start LST training in a few days I think. I also turned up the light to 750w and the air temps are now hovering between 24c-25c. Water temps are creeping up though in the 21c range, gonna wrap the buckets tonight in foil insulation and build a water cooler for this setup soon as well. Had some Ph issues during week 4 because my pen decided to go wonky. I tried to calibrate it again and had a hard time. So I busted out an older one and decided to calibrate it and see if it worked still... calibrated in a few min and sure enough res ph was well bellow 5. So water was changed as it was time anyway and ph’d proper just before lights out so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Day 14. Second dose of nutes. Day 17. Trimmed leaf and bent plant over LST. Day 18. Side branches coming in nicely. Day 19. HST side branches.

Battled with height of lights. At this point I Literally have no more head room.Lights are at the highest point! Monster of a Plant she Is! The Marathon Continues! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 8/23: Mixed new batch of nutes today. Week 8 Mid Bloom mix. 8/25: To force flowering I switched LEDs to a 12/12 light schedule.

Heavy defoliation the day before the photos were taken. Will leave alone now to stack and mature for a month. Feed regularly. *(If anyone has seen the little blue heater that I use in the room in one of the photos or videos, I noticed a tiny LED on the side. Since it was daylight when I tested the heater and it's so small, hadn't noticed that it turns on when the heater is activated. It is red and I think that it's intermittent off/on/off during flowering was having an effect on the plants on the right side where the light is. Put duct tape over the light and hopefully, that's that, although if the element inside glows red and lights up the room, I may have to deal with it).
