👋 Here I am with 5 Nori cake seedlings, I want to grow 3 plants of this variety, I will keep the prettiest seedlings and continue the adventure with them🙏🌲 After a short week of growth I place my seedlings in their final 7Liters pot with a mixture that I made. I use unfertilized soil as a base. And I add organic nutrients from GreenHouseFeeding that I mix at the top of the pot (35Grams BioGrow 14Grams Biobloom) Then I water each pot with 1L of water. I use tap water. It was a good, busy week. The clones are down, dry, and now jarred. Total weight from them was 5oz. I didn't think I was going to get more than 2oz because I didn't put much effort into them. However they all turned out pretty solid for growing led and soil 😎 The mothers come down in 9 days and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how dense those will be! I'm pretty sure a certain someone is going to be donating to some polar bears 😏 because I'm damn sure getting more than 2.5oz per plant 😎 That's about it for now, happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. GROW 😛 Plants have grown rapidly. GraduallIy I removed the side branches. They look very naked now. But experience has taught me that - especially with SOG - you can almost never overdo it, by removing sidebranches for up to 3 weeks of flowering (depending on the sativa/indica ratio). Usually these branches do not get enough light, so they do not produce many flowers. 😺 On DAY 12 : The smallest plant is 36 cm. The largest plant is 60 cm. 😊 ------------------------------------------ BLOOM 😍 First flowers appear. The plants already smell very nice ! 👍 ------------------------------------------ WATER + NUTRITION 😱 On day 8 I watered the plants by hand, for the last time: 5 liter water with 2 tablets of RQS Easy Bloom Booster. From day 9 I have connected the autopots to the water tank. Hopefully the biotabs tablets provide enough nutrition for the coming weeks. ------------------------------------------ AIR HUMIDITY 😨 To keep the humidity at the desired level, I have to refill the two 7.5 liter humidifiers daily. 👍 As long as the plants do not have real buds, I like high humidity for a stimulating VPD. 💪

June 14th : Didn't have a ton of time for photos tonight so I did a short video of the tent! Week 4 flowering is looking great! They are bouncing back from their defoliation with no problems! June 15th : Watered tonight, Seeing some Good Growth on the bud sites. I think all this love I've been throwing at them is working! June 16th : Was out of town and got home too late to take pictures. 😭 June 17th : Starting to wonder if I did something wrong. Been looking around at diary's and like everyone else has giant buds already formed by the end of the third weekish.. And mine aren't all that impressive.. Guess it's the cheap ass Amazon lights.. Fml..😕 June 18th : Welp now I don't know what to think. Lol Buds seem to be getting bigger every day.. Hope some of these large main stems start stacking bud sites. Come on girls!! June 20th : Last night of the 4th week of flower. Did another nutrient feeding tonight at 2/3 recommended strength. Seems like they are starting to stack up on the bud sites. Loving how it's looking. Gonna start with some macro photo's next week I think. Loving this adventure!

Weeks 9 and 10 have marked a significant transformation in the garden, with the flowers flourishing beautifully. The plants are truly booming, and it’s rewarding to see the buds developing into compact, dense nuggets, signaling that we're on the right path. During week 9, I decided to give the plants a boost with Canna PK 13/14, applying it just once. This seemed to have paid off as the buds have responded well, showing signs of vigorous growth and vitality. I also took the opportunity for a big defoliation this week. Admittedly, I was a bit lazy the previous week, but the plants needed the extra attention. Removing some of the larger leaves has improved airflow and allowed the light to reach more buds, enhancing their development. As I look ahead, it seems likely I’ll be harvesting next week. The trichomes are starting to turn milky, indicating that they’re approaching peak potency. Before that, I’ll make sure to give the plants a thorough flush to ensure the cleanest flavor and smoothest smoke. Overall, the garden feels healthy and vibrant, setting the stage for a successful harvest ahead. Looking forward to what the next weeks will bring! Thanks @fastbud for the great strain

D57. We're at the start of the fifth week of flower, and I suspect she will finish in a couple of weeks. I removed all LST wires and soil staples today. Last night, I gave her one liter of sprouted seeds tea with humic and fulvic acid. A bit redundant, but I had some extra after I was done with my other plants. ------------------------------ D60. She is doing her thing quietly in the tent. I'm starting to see senescence in her leaves, and I did the first trichomes check today, but no amber yet. She is at least a week, if not two, from harvest. The reservoir is getting empty again, so I should top it up. I'll only fill it half-full as I don't know how long she has left. Instead, I'd fill it multiple times rather than deal with a reservoir with a bunch of water at harvest. ------------------------------ D63. We're at the end of the fifth week of flower and on the home stretch. Looking at the trichomes, I think it'll be a week until chop day. I partially filled the reservoir with 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.6 to keep her happy for a few days longer. ------------------------------

wow, she's amazing:) with the conditions she has, this is a super result :) the weather is not spoiling us - every day, little sun - lots of clouds + almost half a balcony :D :D she has 3 more weeks - then I'll go on a long vacation :) everything didn't go as planned,:) I think she needs more time:) there will be a renewal until the finish :).

we're near the end..🐒 I just start flushing her, Im a bit late, the smell it's amazing, so good, when i open the tent I just wanna eat the whole raw plant... the flowers are looking very good n the main cola is big, fat n thick whit satellite buds around it. I just start see some amber trycomes, my goal would be 15/20% amber, the microscope is difficult to use directly on the plant without a stable surface so Im taking down some sugar leaves to check. I think im gonna cut her within the next seventh. :)
