I am sad too say out of all my seeds this blackberry kush has has the slowest development and just looks poorly slow growth and new leave deformities , The newest leaves are curling downwards and have a very round leave appearance yet everything else in the same space is loving life , I intended too top this plant but will see how she picks up in the next week , This week I had too change my lighting too 600 true watts of kingbo dual optical LED range due too the temps getting closer too 30c than I would like , and by doing so I have now got a constant temp of 27c lights on and 18c lights out

Week nine all of the girls are doing very well continuing to have a very fast growth no problems so far I had leap leafhoppers that were giving me some trouble early on, but they seem to be all gone now so that is great. The girls should have about 4 to 5 more weeks of veg so expecting another foot or two of growth before they hit that bud They’re all larger than the plants I grew in 2023 and the smallest plant was 4 pounds so still expectations are high excited to finish out this season

Week 14 Day 92 (13/11/2020)💧: Great start to the week with watering today and because all the girls are entering their 4th week of flower, I will again be increasing the BioBloom as per the commendations on the watering chart, but since the pH has been increased they are definitely looking great and have enough nutrients between the watering days. So today I gave the girls 4.5 ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5ml of TopMax for 1.5L of water. I think I will be giving the same nutrients for the rest of the week as well. Day 93 (14/11/2020): Not that many updates today actually. The girls are looking amazing as always Day 94 (15/11/2020): I wanted to check the trichomes on the girls today with a loupe to see how they are developing up closer but I have no idea where my loupe is :( Really wanted to look closer at the flowers but will have to find it first to take some close up pictures as well Day 95 (16/11/2020)💧: We watered the girls today and gave them the same nutrients as before. They were watered with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow and 1.5ml of TopMax. I think the TopMax is definitely making the buds fatten up Day 96 (17/11/2020): Took some lovely pictures of the girls today. Was finally able to capture on camera the redness of the flowers (or at least on girl#1). It’s quite difficult to the get the true colours because of the way the camera perceives the light. Day 97 (18/11/2020): Just can’t get enough of the smell of the girls omg they smell so great. It’s kind of a mixture of citrus and spicy at the same time. Cannot wait to taste them Day 98 (19/11/2020)💧: I keep wanting to measure the pH to make sure that it is still above 6.0 but I haven’t had enough time because it takes a while, but I will make sure to measure the pH before the next watering. So as mentioned at the beginning of the week, I will be giving the same nutrients. I watered the girls with 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of BioGrow, and 1.5 of TopMax. So far the girls are looking good and happy with the nutrients. I’m only noticing yellowing leaves at the very bottom because there is not enough light, other than that the leaves seem like all the nutrients are balanced well. Also it looks like have finally stopped stretching length-wise and started focusing on growing the buds because the height is the same as last week. But really amazing progress this week, I’ve included a video of all the girls in the tent as well so it’s easier to see how different they are!

Week 12: Partial Harvest & Bruce's Final Stand Update: 10.08.2025 | Day 87 Big updates as predicted: I chopped two girls due to bad weather. Fear of big losses was bigger than my need to get to the max. Harvested Forbidden Runtz and Green Crack as they were almost fully ripe. 20% amber and 80% milky trichomes have to be good enough. Weather conditions were far from good - but both girls fought through it like Rocky. Great resilient genetics FastBuds. Hats off! Now let's come to our last survivor - Bruce Banner: Although trichomes are mostly cloudy with only scattered amber trichomes, there are still a lot of white pistils left in the budsites. She's still in bloom mode but resin isn't there like with my other two girls. Next days are forecasted with extremely hot weather (35°C again!) - hope this gives her the last kick. Next steps: - Keep her on the edge to use up all internal resources - Check for mold daily - Find the perfect chop moment I think the next update on this girl will be the harvest report, my friends. It was a pleasure to grow these three girls and I enjoyed the minimum maintenance and resources approach in comparison to last year's coco daily feeding hustle. The plants know themselves best what they need and it's only on me to read my plants and react only if necessary. She has slowed her growth and begun putting on quite a bit of heavy buds. The 3 inches of growth is purely due to the increased size of the top cola. She has been drinking much more water so, I have reduced the nutrients per feeding since I am watering much more often. The plant doesn't give off much of an aroma but, if you rub a leaf between your fingers the scent smells similar to Garlic. I have reduced the number of large fan leaves so as to allow more light to reach the lower buds. My huge photoperiod Sativa is about one week away from finishing so, by next week I should be able to move this plant into the 8-foot tall tent. This will allow me more headroom as well as provide some side-lighting. That should help the lower buds to receive more light and hopefully bulk-up. Well, that is it for this week. I hope people are following this grow. I haven't heard from anybody so, it's almost like I am producing this diary for myself.
