Eternity Grow Cup - Week 9 Veg Update We are stepping into Week 9 of vegetation, and things are getting exciting! The plants are thriving—compact, bushy, and growing beautifully. This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! The next phase will depend on how fast they continue to spread, and adjustments will be made accordingly. Closing Thoughts & What’s Next? This week was all about structural optimization—ensuring proper airflow, training the plants with the SCROG net, and keeping everything in balance before the transition to flower. The upcoming weeks will be crucial, as we fine-tune the environment, possibly introduce the under-canopy lighting, and prepare for the flowering stage. Day 79, 28th of November 2020: Hi there! Here we go let's say half way. Plants are pretty these Original Sensible Seeds genetics are fantastic! The 2 OG and the Runtz Gum is very strechy. Black Ghost is pretty shorter bushier plant. Runtz Gum and Do-Si-Dos OG approx the same height Do-Si-Dos OG is taller a bit. Wedding Gelato is really cool little, bushy anf nice buds forming not problem with her all she is quiet. Do-Si-Dos OG has some deficiency and leaf gets dry but nothing very serious..... Fertilization is still the same every second day with the rationand mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Going good, not giving away to much as had a problem with fastbuds customer service so won't be going into much detail as I don't want to promote there seeds. I have one purple lemonade left and won't be using them again, sad really as it would have cost them a free seed replacement to keep me as a customer. Shame. Please check out my other diaries, feel free to comment and leave a like, maybe even a follow. Stay high, stay fly. #420everyday

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

Switched it up to 600w on the digital ballast. Plants really love the extra heat. 2 plants hermied unfortunately so they were "Outta There" Which left me with 4 healthy stretch ladies. Still no loud smell yet but it's got something there. We got some likkle buds too 😍 Girls are doing well they took well to the foliar spray I was applying twice a week. They are loving the extra space to stretch it seems. Feeding with water this week to regulate ppm within substrate. Proud parent 👏 See you guys next week Be good Stanton..

Week 5 of the flowering for the gorilla gas has finished up. They are definitely smelling really nice and stacking like crazy. All different smells and sizes. The tall one is fading and could probly use some more nutrients but I'm not going to push a lot now. Just coasting till the end. 3 more weeks. Everything is looking really good for the most part.

I pumped up the bloom nutrients a little. As it’s my last week before I go into the flower stage. My lights will go 12/ 12 shortly. I added a wooden support system because the plant was slanted a little bit. I also removed clones yesterday. And the plant is healing very very well and fast. Lots of new baby nodes growing! took out the strongest two plants to keep as mother plants. And I continued LST as the plant keeps growing steadily!

My wicking system managed to make it through the week. I was gone, but was showing signs of underwater Ing as soon as I returned from vacation. After inspection, it appears the roots suffocated the medium from the wicking chords which stopped the uptake of water at a substantial enough speed for the plant. I have been top watering since keeping the medium moist And the plants have responded well. Light intensity and nutrients have been ramped so far the plants have responded very well. I will continue to push them on the upper end of safe limits for nutrients and light through to the end of the grow to try to maximize yield. Forbidden Runtz has a garlic type smell, possibly mixed with some BO/armpit. Papaya Cookies is very mild in smell even though it appears more mature so far. Hopefully both continue to thrive under the current conditions.

Still have upward growth from the ends and switched to full flower nutes. Temperatures in the reservoir are starting to get worryingly warm 20c upwards. Middle of summer and a heatwave all compounded temp problems. May need a chiller to compensate.
