Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. 420Fastbuds FBT2307/Harvested These 3 got the chop this past week and Wow are they beautiful. Over all these plants grew relatively easy and resistant to pest and mold I'd say is strong as it never presented itself. They all turned purple/reddish at the end of flower and saying they smell pungent would be an under statement. The flowers are simi dense with trichs all over. Smells sweet/fruity with hints of earthiness. A total wet weight for all three came to 1,088. I ended up trying out a nug smasher mini with one if the plants and all I can say for a first time ever pressing anything what a blast it was. Would highly recommend this strain for rosin as I got about 20% return on flower to rosin. All in all fun to grow, beautiful smelling flowers, and high yields so what more could one ask for. 11/29 Shes growing ok. Green and healthy branches and leaves. She growing more like a sativa, sativa hybrid tall and branchy, manageable fan leaves but because of that she started to get some light burn. Dont have my tent yet so i cant adjust my light any higher so i tried to lower the plant down a little So hoping she can do without super direct light for another day or so. Other than that shes looking healthy. 11/30 It wouldnt let me do veg and flower in the same week on the diary so i just split it up in here. Two busy days. Its my first time on an indoor grow so i hope it works out well She still has a little of light burn but shes still green everywhere else was able to get the light another foot higher after i moved everything. 12/1 topped dressed with some happy frog soil Worm casting amount is the only thing i couldnt find a good ratio for So ill say i mixed about a quarter of the amount of soil into about 1 to 2 gallons of top soil i had some down to earth dry amendments i mixed in with that soil as well. i couldnt tell how much soil exactly. I only put in 5 tsp of great white instead of the recommended 7 because i switched the bloom nutes and i didnt wanna over do it i couldnt tell how much soil exactly. Fed them some flowering nutes, but cut back on the amount of nutes by a lot. Decided im going to just follow what biobizz instructions say from now on so apparently less is better. started the bloom and the top max kept everything else the same and cut out the fish mix for flower, added great white at the end. Defoliated the bottom few branches and cleaned them up. Nothing to major. 12/2 Temp of tent is steady at 70, 71 degrees. thats a little bit lower than id like but ill figure out something in the next few days. Took the bottom branches and leaves the night before and Wanted to give it a night of rest before i defoliated the big leaves. Took most of them off but left the few at the top of the plant. Looking extremely green. Hoping i get to see some pistils soon.

Lo que ha hecho que los tricomas no se degraden tanto tal como los terpenos. Huele DEMASIADO en comparación cuando estaba dentro del armario de cultivo. En breves actualización con el corte final y su peso. Me gusta mucho esta genética y se ha convertido en una de mis favoritas.

Slow growers

She is becoming a monster! Which is awesome. The mainlining really made a huge difference for her overall production. My first Black Jack I just simply LST the main stem and that was about it for training grew to 15" after 12 weeks. This girl is already 15.5" and still getting taller, the bud sites are just way better and should fill in great, excited! Cheers 😎💪

Shes chunky as nugs are solid shes got a nice fade leaves dropping and turning yellow been in flush since 17/11 ran 8l through her and will be watering with 2ml of terpinator to 1l water at 2l per day for the next 10/14days she smells really sweet a little earthy aswell really pungent now trichs are near enough all cloudy with some ambers should be nice by the time flushing ends . tied a few of the top buds up for support during flush will get some better pics first plant in the video is the cut the next is 2 gorilla then blue mystic two further to the right are gsc and another cut last one in the vid is the critical thought id put a little vid of the whole room thanks for reading happy growing guys

Ok guys so for this grow I'm using 7 dwcr 20l pots with a 20l reservoir water temp is 20c air temp is 24.5c humidity is 64% I'm using canna coco a&b nutrients 200ppm led lights 2x1000w. Now for the plants I'm using cuttings from two plants I've got the sunset sherbet and the gelato 41 as you can see in my pictures I've also tried a coco mix 70/30 for 2 of my plants (one of each) just as an experiment as I've not grown in coco before let's see what we get Day 2 All clones are now starting to have a nice light green colour to the fan leaves and are now standing correctly. I've added one scoop of great white root enhancer to my nutrients to give the roots a better ability to take in the stuff it needs. All in all not looking bad but still early days Day 3 Now the clones are starting to thrive in their environment I've added some mycorrhizac for root growth,liquid silicone for added growth to overall plant,cal mag strengthens stems,and some fulvic acid to give them that extra boost. All clones are looking well however I can notice a big difference between the ones in the dwc and the ones in coco. I'm watering the coco whenever it feels dry roughly about 2l a day with run off. Still early days but I'm impressed at how well the clones are bouncing back after being shipped overnight Day 4 New pictures uploaded. Just general garden management at the moment Day 7 Changed the water in my reservoir cleaned the filter and outlet pipe. Added nutrients to same scale as previously used and ph is now 6.5 backed the lights off and turned on both veg and bloom functions. While changing the water I noticed a few roots starting to show out of the net pots will upload some pictures soon didn't have my camera on me at the time. Coco experiment is going well been feeding g once a day roughly 2 l with run off. They are noticeably smaller than the ones in the DWC but are still growing nice

Estuve un tiempo sin actualizar el diario porque me contagie de COVID, ahora un poco mejor vuelvo a actualizar. Flower58, las plantas están listas para la cosecha, en uno o 2 días empezaré a cortar y colgar para su secado. Drying, secando con parámetros de humedad de 60% a 16°c por aproximadamente 2 semanas, están a 2 o 4 días de estar listas para pasarlas a frascos y ver cuánta cantidad final se logró.

F1 Did some topping this last week. In a couple of days will turn them to flowering, would like to keep it between 3-4 weeks of veg at most with the Autopits or they grow way too big. Next week will be putting more nutes on the reservoir, by now that are drinking quite slowly but already using the Autopots
