The Afghan #1 has received her final defoliant. At the end of week six she is 78 cm tall. Has put on significant weight with the calyxes fully swollen now emerging into bud formation. Leaves fading yellowing. Stem growth slow paced. She will be fed water and molasses until harvest.

Another fun strain to run from Fastbuds, Bruce banner was amazing at a total of 83 days , came out with some thick dense resiny coated buds , an very sweet smell! Has very tight buds with tight stems so it would def be better to tie her down an open her up for some LST ! I highly recommend y’all trying Bruce Banner out , you won’t be disappointed!!

Week 9 of flower. I feel this last week or two the plants really bulked up. I’ve been set back paying for this grow op and this run has really tested my patience, but this week makes up for all of that. The smell is incredible, and I’m happy to finally make it here. I’m getting a little overgrowth with the heat of the light but nothing crazy. I’m just flushing now and checking runoff ppm. Thank you to everyone staying tuned in :) we’re almost there!

3/21: Just letting her do her thing for now contemplating on taking a few leaves off 3/22: I talked to the company yesterday that I purchased my light from in early February they said my Optic 4 XL LED will ship out this upcoming week......I’m definitely happy about that news I really need more light what I have right now since I had to take down my cheap Chinese blurple isn’t cutting it 3/24: Fed plain water and took off a few bottom leaves, in a few days I’m going to pry her open more then I’m gonna try not to fuck with her as much unless it’s necessary. After I ran into (read: caused) some critical problems with my last grow I took some of the lessons I learned and am already back with my nose to the grindstone. I've made a few changes to my setup, namely I decided to switch to using seperate buckets instead of the combined tote for a number of reasons; Less risk of TPK from shared issues, less wasted nutes, higher air/water ratio, easier to inspect the plants, the whole nine yards. I also went and decided to upgrade from the SF1000 to the SF2000, because I could, so there. These are the last of the Green Crack seeds I got from a localish seed bank, this time I started the germ by soaking them for 24hrs in a glass of water and then transferring them to the paper towel method, were they only spent a grand total of two days in before they were already shooting out tap roots and I moved them to the Rockwool (with a dash of Great White) and into the lot new homes today. And I definitely learned a lesson from last time in regards to my feeding, they're just on straight tap water here until they pop and get past their baby leaves. Learned my lesson about lockout the last time.

New week, seems ok for first morning, will do heavy feed on day 52. I already gave away one plant ( strawberry cough photo ) now one of fast diesels still stucked in pre-flower, would love to return to 18/6 regime, just dont want any reveg or hermie. Still lost. Fingers crossed ;) Day 53 Morning, leaves a bit down after night, everything looking not bad, thinking to defoliate two midle babies. Had a big mistake on day 52, they where down, i stayed for one night out and was late with watering for a day, they looked totaly down, like my mobile, thats why no photos, never seen any plant so bad in my hole life... But they are ok now, quess it was on the verge, but damadge was done 100 % Day 53 evening. I wouldnt be me if i wont be searching ways to screw up the crop ;))) After many hesitations i decided to do very light defoliation. And ..... They hated it. Lets give couple days, but 2 huge stresses in 3 days dont give me and girls joy for sure .... In that rush forgot to make third Fast diesel photo, but i quess she didnt made mind to flower, took like 5 leaves down and left her for a bit,very annoying , she will be a big delay at the end or very early harvest, both ways waste of time.... Plus had to reduce light to 15.5 of day, maybe those 30 min will force her ... All 3 Fast Diesels are very mag hungry, fed them with epsom salt extra. Day 54 . Fast Diesel 3 went to 24 hours darkness prison with a heater ;))) hope that will teach her a lesson ! Others got feed with silicic acid, they drink, thats a good sign tho ! Fast Diesel 3 was a day behind from all, even 5 leaves was too much. But its a good time for me to give last trick i can, before downgrading day hours even more. Day 54 Evening. Girls are praying again, silica always boost them to hapiness ;) Day 56. Girls are growing, looks like last Fast Diesel starts to make buds from preflower, but a lot of pistils going brown, so either its heat, which i will check today or its hermie ;))) Could be wind damage, i will check all options today, returned from work, made short shitty video and thats all ;) End of week.

Timing seems about right. The current flowering plants are finishing so these will be in flower within two weeks. From all that I've learned this grow (being my first DWC), I plan on carrying on with a combination of organics and synthetics. Along with GHE products below, I'll be using the organics right along side. Mainly for the microbes and fungi. I plan on keeping my water about 1-2" below the basket with heavier pumps. Will be using the EcoPlus Eco Air 4 Four Outlet air pump divided into 2 buckets/2 air stones and using the 2 Marina 200 Air pumps for clones. That will more than double the airflow to the roots. When I change the res and even when I transfer over to the larger flower DWC bucket (3 gal - 5 gal) I'll be keeping a litre of the veg solution to add to the fresh new res, thus 'inoculating' it with the already stable microbial and fungal environment that it's been used to. As well, I'll continue with Hygrozyme on a 'maintenance' dosage when changing the res and adding a liter of the microbial and fungal tea listed below as well as a dose of Tarantula from Advanced Nutrients. Adding organic Alaskan veg and bloom fertilizer (some 'Fulvic acid' as well, like seaweed liquid. Plants uptake Fulvic better than Humic. Root fungi eat the Humic and poop out Fulvic!) in 'moderation' to help bring PH back down and feed microbes and fungi. Once the plants start really stacking, I'll add more synthetics to compensate and to lower PH. The organics can really mess with the EC so I'm not going to be freaking about high levels. Found that it didn't effect the plants health that much if at all. 📆 Semana 10 Cogollos ya bien formados, empezando a compactar con fuerza y ganando densidad de manera evidente. La resina aumenta de forma clara, cubriendo progresivamente las flores y aportando un brillo más marcado en toda la estructura. Los tricomas se encuentran en fase intermedia de maduración, con predominancia de lechosos y primeras apariciones de ámbar en las zonas más avanzadas. Se mantiene la diferencia de ritmo entre genotipos, con el más rápido claramente por delante en evolución. El aroma empieza a definirse con más intensidad, ganando profundidad y carácter, mientras la planta reduce progresivamente su enfoque vegetativo y prioriza el engorde y la maduración.
