Banana Jelly has a very nice bushy shape, she responds good to LST and doesn't stretch a lot when turned into flowering. Good resistance as we performed some HST and even during flowering defoliations, no sign of stress or delays in growth. The bid smell is almost like nuts, fresh almonds with a sweet but slightly gassy background, a true gem to explore. We will definitely repeat this one!!!

June 24: we’ve had a very cool and rainy June. Quite different than last year at this time when the heat dome was hitting 37 C daily.

The ladies are looking good this week. 2 of them on Wednesday had a few twisted leafs, so I have been trying to figure out how my ph got high. My normal routine is to prep the water the day before feeding to the correct ph. But finding after it sits over night, it rises from 6.5 to 7.1. This has now been corrected and only time will tell if these two ladies decide to untwist. My topping is looking really good, I've enclosed a photo of the beautiful knuckles on them. Trying to decide if I should top again, and when can I? I think the SCOG net will be coming out real soon, maybe this week or next. My one shorter girl has gotten bigger, but still considerably shorter than the rest. SCOG, should give her a chance to catch up. I'm really looking forward to this grow, and being my first, it's been really enjoyable. I only wish I picked up this hobby sooner. I find it fulfilling and relaxing.

I determined she had 5 or 6 closely stacked nodes so I topped her and applied manuka honey to the wound. After topping she is 3.5 inches tall and very bushy. 12/6 Update - seed is germinated and ready to grow! I will post a new weekly update tomorrow! So I had to scrap this plant - it was just growing too slow and it was unfortunately not a health plant. I decided to remove the plant altogether and have started a new seed. Since this plant will be four week behind its neighbor in the tent I will have to modify my approach to training on this one. I typically mainline - mostly just to utilize the space in the best way that I can. This time around I think I will just top it maybe once or twice and then let it recover for two weeks then flip to flower and manage out the lower branches from there. It will be kind of fun to do a side by side with these. The neighbor plant is super healthy and is almost ready for its first topping, I did however go through today and remove all of the growth from the plant (other than topping) so that should slow that one down quite a bit and give this new plant some what of a chance to catch up. Also - check out the worms!!! I pulled out that plant and reached down into the soil just to see what the worm activity was looking like - I pulled out this little ball of freshly hatched worms! Barney's Farm Gorilla Zkittles - Feminized. I'll be growing just one of these plants in this 2x4x5 tent. It will be growing side by side with another plant but I wanted to be able to document them separately. This is my fourth grow using this set up, I'm excited to document the process this time around! Bit of nute burn appeared on just one of these phenos overnight. I think this is as this plant flowers longer than my nute charts so did a bit of experimenting. Wil dial it back a bit at this stage next grow to avoid this and have dialled back a bit now, moving forwards. It's not too bad and still seems localised to certain parts of just one plant so not gonna stress about it.

Entering final week of major stretch, these plants have been a pleasure to grow so far, and my overall setup has been performing pretty flawlessly. Excited for the weeks to come, tho another longer trip away from the plants looms in the future (🎅🏻). Hopefully i can dial in a temporary auto watering system for then. Just did a light defoliation so i can leave them unmolested for the week - mainly took off leaves brushing against the forming pistils. These plants grow like weeds no doubt, branches out of branches out of branches. Temps and runoff a little high but overall a smooth start to the flowering stage i would say.

Harvest - Let me start off by saying how impressed I am with this plant and the flower produced, not only was it consistent with the description but it seems to be consistent across other diaries that i've seen - really top notch job i'd say. Grow: Growing went without hassle, this plant started off it's life from seed being vegged under my hlg quantum board for the first 5 weeks of its life - after that I left it inside under 5-6 hours of direct sunlight to flower, bud chunked out nicely and i am impressed by the yeild considering the amount of light. Smoke: I love this bud, It is truly pleasant to smoke - so smooth you could smoke it constantly without fear of harshness. The creamy and sweet flavor are a real treat. I will definitely be growing this again

12 day dry @ 58-63RH & 60-66F in blacked out dry tent | Glass Jar Cure with Inert gas Early taste test and I actually love this bud, is the best in house strain I've grown so far & the second Platinum cross. Flavorful Funky Sweet Orange cream cereal terps, the texture of the bud is buttery smooth, fluffy and pink/orange color when ground up. Bud has deeply potent effects that is IMO the perfect amount of heavy on the body but still euphoric and creative.. it makes you calm and happy! is checking off so many boxes not even cured, just smelling this batch makes a true connoisseur grin and bag appeal is insane

Finished the last week of flushing WOO! and its harvest time! I put them in 48 hours of darkness on Wednesday ready to crop for saturday, I will do a proper harvest report next week when I have them ready to go into curing jars along with some pictures and a full report, but I will add this some of the smells I was getting whilst trimming where unreal smells like pine, citrus, beef and a really faint sweet smell I cant put my finger on... I'm not saying that's 100% what it smells like but it smells similar to wild garlic. Well these b*tches took 14 long hours( could of done it quicker but we made a day of it ) all bud is trimmed and primed for drying then curing. Happy Growing 👊👍

GMO × Triangle Mints BX – Week 12 Veg | Growth Surge, CalMag Issue Spotted and Corrected She’s responded to the warmer weather exactly as expected. Up to 110cm this week, canopy has spread wide and the branch structure from the earlier LST is really starting to pay off — plenty of well-spaced tops developing underneath. Not all good news though. Mid-canopy leaves started showing interveinal yellowing — classic CalMag deficiency symptoms, traced back to pH drift affecting uptake rather than an actual shortage in the feed. Switched over to CANNA Aqua Vega with added CalMag Agent and dialled in the pH more carefully. Seems to have arrested the issue, at least from what’s visible so far. She’s now running the same feed schedule as the indoor plants — two feeds with full nutrients, one feed plain water. Nutrients: CANNA Aqua Vega 4ml/l, Canna CalMag Agent 1.1ml/l, Aptus Regulator 0.1ml/l. LST ongoing. The forecast ahead is looking like the best stretch of the season so far — temperatures potentially hitting 30°C next week, nights staying mild, winds light.
