I had never done such extreme defoliation, I feel nervous to see the result, I hope this technique helps to increase the growth of flowers and not make it slower.

this girl grew close too the same size and same shape as the California snow and looks the same and is growing the same rate , she is also drinking about 8 pints of feed a week , bud production is coming along nicely but i really hope she swells up alot more before she ripens up , but so far so good with absolutely no problems at all and looking a picture of health as are they all ,

This plant has been my strongest/largest from the gate, so no surprise she was my biggest yielder! Incredibly strong/resilient from the start, however everything seemed to just go right for this plant. Lots of defoliation and attention helped cultivate dense medium-large nugs that certainly pack a punch! Very flavorful, and amazing aroma. I will definitely be growing this strain again!

Bit more eventful of a week this one. Just going about my normal business when I was checking them over making sure all sex organs were female. Noticed that something seemed amiss. I took me a bit to figure out why one of my girls hermie’d, but a bit of thinking back brought something to the forefront. I had not had the 3rd and 4th pieces of shelving, and since I had the shelving upside down, I had to balance them on the edge with a piece of wood. I had rearranged my plants after watering, and did not make sure each one was steady, when I went to open my tent on probably day 27 or 28, i saw one of my babies had fallen off the shelf and was crushed up against the wall of the tent at a 45 degree angle! I was like NOOOO sunflower not you!!! So at least I know why the darn thing did what it did. I removed it from the others as soon as I noticed. Wanting to see the root structure I chopped it at the base of its stalk. The whole pot had very healthy roots so that was good to see. Was still having trouble with the plants seeming to reject the cal-mag and other nutes I was giving it. Only had pool ph strips. Yakno, the ones that only have a range down to 6.2….. More on that next week.

Okay growmies here we are at the end of our PURPLE LEMONADE by FAST BUDS. It was such a pleasure to grow, i learned so so so much this run that will help me through the rest of my adventures. The beginning was tough as i am new i over watered and did not ph the water and what i mistake. But its okay i learned. She bounced back like nothing and produced these HUGE, THICK, DENSE BUDS!i remember the panic i had week 2-3 and wanted to scrap all of this and start over.... thank the weed gods i didnt because look at this masterpiece. I always said in the passed weeks comments i hope my ugly duckling becomes a beautiful queen. And here she is. She was SOOO HUNGRY AND THIRSTY! Over 5L a day guys..... and not a SINGLE drop would come out of the bottom.... over a all a pleasure and amazing grow. I will for sure grow again and again. I would love to Try this out door or in a 10L pot can probably get this beast to be the size of a 5x5 easily! She responded so well to LST and topping... slowed it down but it was so worth it guys lmao.... like honestly OVER HALF A POUND!!!!!! GROWMIES! I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU ALL SO SO MUCH! Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. Late flowering, Sativa. 💦Watering : 2L/plants/48h -grower Master Floraison + Enyme -grower Master Floraison + pk 13/14 -grower Master Floraison + Cal/Mag

She is truly a banner! But sadly she was a male at the very beginning of flowering and not after sadly I did not successfully removed all pollen sacks and so she seeded here and there! Some branches more than others, I removed all those! She seeded the watermelon candy too here and there....not a total disaster but could have been bad...Next time I will discard those very pronounced early and keep those who have only few flowers at set! The phenotype i have is very lightly scented, sweet faint grape. She sparkles with trichomes! I am thinking she does not smell much must be weak thc content...but been reading and they say terpenes and the not the same! You can have little thc and high terpenes and resin contents in Mj! And vis versa!

These all got a new home in the 4x8 just letting them settle in to the new pots and recover from training before I flip them. The pots are already proving to be better than the radicle bags these dont leak out the side so I can water faster but still have the same airflow. They also havnt made a mess in the tent leaking out dust like the other ones.

Day 70, end of week 10, about 6 weeks into flower for the OG Kush, and everything goes smoothly ✌️🏽😊 The plant keep putting on some weight and size, and starting to give signs that she's about to finish! 😋 Trichomes seem mostly cloudy, although there are some clear as well, i have a feeling I'll start see amber in the next week... So tomorrow I'll decide if its time to start flushing or not. For me deciding when to start flushing always seems like the hardest choice to make during the growth cycle 😅😂 Anyway this monster plant looks great! buds are cover in resin all over, and the weight start to feel good. This phenotype is very different then a classic OG Kush when it comes to the bud appeal, as fast-buds describe the buds as rock hard (like a classic kush should be), The buds on this phenotype are more open in structure....🤷🏽 They still looks amazingly frosty and delicious though 😋 So, next week, harvest or not, we shall see😎✌️🏽🌱
