🗓️ WEEK 5 / DAYS 29-35 (flo) 💧 There were no changes to the nutrient solution this week, maintaining EC 2.0 - pH 6. My main action has been topping up the reservoir with 5 LT of this solution every two days. 🌱 The stretching phase concluded this week, with the plant reaching her final height: 69 cm. She is now focusing on filling out her flowers, and her foliage is taking on a noticeably darker hue, typical for the later stages of flowering. At this point, there's less active work to do; the focus shifts to maintaining stable environmental parameters and ensuring the pH remains in the correct range to avoid stressing the plant.

03.03.23: Started in glass of water in a dark warm area for 17 hours when the seeds sank. 03.04.23: Then put them in a damp paper towel for 24/48 hrs in a dark warm area. Checking on them to keep them from drying up. 03.05.23: Seed taproots were 3/4 inches and were ready to go into the pots. I then poked a small hole into the soil with my finger and carefully put the seeds in and gently covered them with dirt. Then sprayed a little water onto them and then covered them with a dome to keep them humid. Now we wait until they pop out of the ground.

Stretching has officially stopped as I haven’t seen any vertical growth the past few days, so all growth must be going into buds therefore I did some super cropping to even out the canopy. I have some yellow marks on the leaves which I’m guessing it’s a nitrogen deficiency due to giving the girls only 700PPM throughout flower, I’m happy with the growth although I think the trichomes are less sticky compared to my last grow, I can only blame myself as I should have given her 1100PPM from Day 1 of flower. Overall though there are bud sites everywhere, so many that I decided to buy a new light as I don’t think these buds will fulfil their full potential with mars hydro, with this new light my tent light spread is completely even so I have high hopes for this grow. Some other phenos are purple at this stage so I will most definitely be buying more runtz muffin seeds until I find the purple pheno that I can clone. Still currently feeding the girls 2 litres in the morning and 2 litres before the lights turn off. Considering adding molasses as a third feeding depending on how the growth goes.

4e semaine de floraison les bud sont beau et résineux elle on une odeur tropicale/exotique/haze/ assez présente super agréable, jaurai du la rempoter mais c'est une sativa qui a la trik comme pas possible jai donc pris le risque de traiter les racine au bactérie ensuite propolix ensuite bactérie. Comme j'ai facilement accès au racine je surveille qu'elle ne bruisse pas je sais que je vais perdre énormément en poid mais la taille est incroyable si je ne n'aurai pas fait le LST en mode banzai + les taille successive je pense que la plante ferait bien 2.20m en pot de 7L . En balcon c'est pas idéal le baobab de 2metre on va donc faire une exception pour cette fois La.plante devien chiante avec l'engrais elle a besoin de beaucoup d'engrais et beaucoup d'azote surtout en mis flo jai donc mis un peut de supermix de plagron par griffure et du bat guano en 10 et 5gr par griffage

Another smooth week. I did some light defoliation and a bit of lollipopping to tame the jungle, mainly removing leaves that were shading bud sites or blocking airflow through the canopy. I’m hoping the Hyperion stretch is finally done, because I’m right at the space limit. I had to run the light at 80% to manage height and keep the main tops around 50k lux (and under 60k) to avoid stressing them. I bumped feed strength up to 2.0 EC. I also added another fan down low to improve air circulation and I’m trying to keep VPD above 1.0 kPa. It’s not easy all day, especially when lights go off, so I’ve been compensating a bit by running temps higher. Not ideal to be above 27°C at this stage, but the dehu can’t always keep up. Girls are transplanted, topped and responding well. I'm going back to my old roots, so to speak, using what my girls used to have. Changed mediums to fox farms, and I mixed with coco loco soilless.

Looks like I have to dial back the nutes a bit. I'm going to give them a day or two cuz I let the reservoir get pretty low and I think that's what caused that one plant to get burnt. Once again thanks for stopping in! ✌️👊

We are in flower ! Trainwreck is doing great, the defoliation delivered the shape I wanted like always, simple training but can change the plant shape a lot. The flower stretch went super well, I think she will stretch a bit more but should be almost done. I cleaned the lower branches completely to avoid any problems down below, better airflow and less risk for Pm etc. Still not using any nutrients, all living soil from Sonnenerde.

Turning I out amazing this one 👌🏻 She's small but she's gonna pack it on. So glad i never scrapped her haha Smell is ridiculous already. It's so pungent when you get up close burns ya nose honestly 😂 But has that beaut citrus when you touch the frosty leaves. Can't wait for these next few weeks

Casey's Rollex OG has been making progress. I believe the pest problem has been resolved. I did a good defoliation on her today to open her up more. I plan to switch to flowering in a week. Everything is looking fairly good at the moment. Its been a busy week in Fat Zappa's Garden, hence another late update. I am no longer concerned about the gold patches on the plants, there has been a little more since the past update, particularly around the edges of some of the leaves but not much at all and it certainly doesn't appear to be anything serious so my fears have eased much in that regard. The three older ladies in this grow are coming to the end of day 32 as I type this update, and have grown into fairly big plants over the past week or so. Despite having low stress training applied every two or three days they now stand around a foot tall. Not quite as tall as their Fastbuds label mate, the Wedding Cheesecake I am growing in Canna Coco and the same dry amendments, which stands an inch taller than these three sisters, but then she is nine days younger. These three girls are certainly more fuller plants though, and the past few days have seen the white hairs begin to appear, particularly on the bud sites, which have also began to turn light green, and the stem on one of these girls begin to turn more 'vine like' in texture. Remaining on a schedule of about 2.5 litres of dechlorinated, aerated water of PH 6.4, day 28 also saw the garden revitalised by their usual tipple being replaced for an aerated compost tea of 2 cups of Worm Castings, 2 tablespoons of Alfalfa Meal, 2 tablespoons of Kelp Meal, and 1 tablespoon of Bat Guano in a cheese cloth bag, and placed in a UK 5 Gallon bucket with 2 tablespoons of Molasses mixed into the dechlorinated water I had aerated for 24 hours, and then brewed it for about 26 hours. It may just have been a well timed coincidence, but I do feel like the plants have shown a spurt of growth since receiving it, particularly the runt of these Mrs Banners, who received her first session of low stress training on day 30. Prior to this spurt of growth I was not going to perform any LST on her cos she just seemed way to small but has really filled out in the past week, although remains a very short specimen compared to her sisters, and the Wedding Cheesecakes who are 2 days younger than her. I am starting to think something may have gone awry when I mixed my soil up, as the two pots which I struggled to germinate the initial seeds in, one which failed completely, have not seemed to thrive as much as the other four plants. When I mixed the initial mix into the 5 Gallon pots I did it in two batches, yet filled the all the pots a scoop at a time along a row so it does seem strange. I think next time I will mixed the medium with the dry amendments and castings a pot at a time to gain more control and see if things improve. Also, in preparation for feeding the compost tea I did have a trim around the bottom of the larger plants as watering has become more difficult with all my wires and tucked leaves etc, which I immediately regretted, but actually, like I say, the plants seemed to have had a boost over the past few days so I am happy no harm has been done. The lights are now running at the full 450w and set to around 25 inches from the top of the canopy. I have also increased the airflow through the intake fan, the canopy fans are both on high, my two 40 watt fans are now running on medium, and my AC Infinity T6 turned up to three on the OFF setting. My heater and humidifier remain on full on the environment has remained stable despite the ramping up of the light to full blast. Lastly, day 32 began with a top dressing for all these plants, with the larger ladies showing signs of pre-flower. They got heaped portions of 1/2 cup of Worm Castings, 1/3 cup Dr Forest Organics 284 Bloom, and a table spoon of Dr Forest Organics Veg dry amendments which I mixed in as best I could with all my LST wires etc, and then watered at PH level 6.4. I'd like to mix the PH up a little more between 6.2 and 6.8 but it always seems to come out 6.4. I will endeavour to update the pages for the two Wedding Cheesecakes as soon as time allows. Germinated for 24 hours in a glass of water, 48 hours in a paper towel and then I planted them into biodegradable seedling pots. Northern Lights looking a bit ahead of the Dosidos seeds but that was expected I’ve grown Northern Lights before and they sprout real quick. One of the Dosidos’ first true leaves is looking a bit wonky but we’ll see how it goes I suppose.

Scotts OG de Rare Dank, nos esperabamos una OG Kush típica poco ramificada y con corta flora, pero nos sorprendió que era bastante mas Sativa y ramificada! Se estira muchisimo en el cambio de fotoperiodo. Cogollos no muy compactos pero muy dulces, terroso, kushy, pino, cookies.. Muy vigorosa y muy buena para hacer clones! No soporta muy bien el estrés, altas Temperaturas o tierras con alto ec... Tiende a ponerse violeta con el frío

Today 23/07/22 We are two days into week 5, never talked about nutrient or water’ problems I had some leaves with few yellow marks but very small one beside that I always saw my plants green and happy, here you can see the scrog I set up yesterday not sure if this will work better but I think will help the branches grow further from the others increasing the light they riceve! I made it myself I will order one for the next grown when I will get my grow box! The watermelon is already flowering but the northern light no so today I started feeding the plants with different preparations.. I kept on giving the grow booster with a bit of bloom booster and viceversa for the watermelon! If you have any tips anything you think I’m doing wrong or you see it’s not ok let me know I don’t grow in a box I grow between the curtains and my window so the environment wasn’t always the perfect one
