# Frosted Guava Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B 🌱❄️ ## Germination Week | Another Frosty Beginning Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome to another new journey. As some of you may have noticed, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters. This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week and keeping everything organized from seed to harvest. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To create an honest, educational, and complete record while sharing observations, successes, lessons learned, and everything in between. Today, we begin following Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B. A sister to the previous phenotype, sharing the same roots but carrying her own unique story waiting to unfold. --- ## Two Sisters, Two Possibilities One of the most interesting parts of growing multiple phenotypes is watching how similar plants begin their lives almost identically and then slowly reveal their differences over time. At this stage, both Frosted Guava sisters are showing exactly what we hope to see: Healthy germination. Strong emergence. Good vigor. Healthy color. A solid start. But every grower knows that the real personality of a plant often appears later. That is part of the reason I enjoy documenting each phenotype separately. The similarities are interesting. The differences are where the surprises usually hide. For this run, we're following Frosted Guava Auto from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. Throughout this diary, I'll explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System To begin this run, I once again used the Cannakan germination system. For organizational purposes, the autoflower section of the project was germinated using my second Cannakan unit, while the photoperiod section used the first. The methodology itself remained exactly the same. Simple. Organized. Reliable. The seed was placed inside using only plain water. No nutrients. No additives. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours a healthy taproot had emerged and the seed was ready for planting. Exactly what we hope to see from healthy genetics. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that often appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seed immediately?" The answer remains simple. The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of life. Inside that shell are the energy reserves needed to establish roots and begin development. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves exactly as intended. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. Nature has already prepared the rest. --- ## Coco Starter Plugs Like the rest of this project, the seed began life inside a coco starter plug. The plug was fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability. Once germinated, the seed was carefully inserted into the plug and placed inside a humidity dome. The dome remained useful for only a short period. Within less than 24 hours the seedling had already emerged and was ready for the next step. At that point, she was transplanted directly into a small container filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions remained intentionally simple and stable. Temperatures stayed around 26–27°C. Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. Rather than keeping seedlings inside extremely humid conditions for extended periods, I prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle. The objective is adaptation. Not dependence. Airflow remained extremely gentle. Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft. Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels at this stage. The goal is healthy establishment rather than rapid growth. Once properly established, this girl will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of development begins. For now, healthy roots and healthy growth remain the priorities. --- ## First Observations Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far. Fast germination. Healthy taproot. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: A healthy beginning. At this stage every seedling remains an unwritten chapter. A tiny plant carrying months of possibilities inside it. That mystery is one of the reasons growing never stops being exciting. --- ## Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks we'll follow Frosted Guava Auto Pheno B through every stage of development. We'll document: - Root establishment - Early growth - Environmental management - Watering practices - Structural development - Flowering progression - And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype chooses to reveal Because every seed deserves the opportunity to tell its own story. Exited to try one of fastbuds newer strains! Was hard to decide over this and Banana Purple Punch but I went for Cherry Cola Auto this time!

Good week, she's cloudy so I'll be chopping at the end of the week.

Started some LST midweek all 3 ladies coming along great no problems so far

She has got about as fat as she will get now. Now flushing ready to be chopped in a few days or so. Giving off a very nice smell. Really can't wait to smoke this.

So I had absolutely no ill effect on the plants at at all moving from the green buzz veg feed too the house & garden soil a&b feeds, I did not even given them a water only inbetween the two, I also went straight in with 50% the recommended dose stated on the house & Gardens bottles this switched happened the day before week 5 none showed any signed of defects or deficiency intact they exploded into life over night and then every day after that, I have been using the green buzz fast buds as a folar spry appied too the leaves of the early flower formation after lights out, They seemed too love that too and I also kept the note roots going in, I also started too apply C-RESULT at the fullbl dose stated on the bottle, The plants live this stuff if you have not tried it do it, I am not sponcered by c-result I was given this by my local grow store, It brings all the nutrients straight too the roots it states, All I know is this stuff triggers the plants too suck the pots dry in 24 hours, So make sure you have your feed bucket fully in order before adding this stuff as a mistake here could cost you, But get it right and in 24 hours these little autos doubled in size, It states too used week one of flower only and smells like a sewer lol I have today day one of week 6 Started too add house & garden Bud XL at half strength too increase next week and also I added there top shooter at 1ml per liter of water as 7 as I plan too removed all chemicals exactly as of day 1 of week 7 leaving me week 9 clean, I did not top any of these girls, I am training all the shooting tips too my scrog netting the best I can due too very limited space in the grow space, And am praying for some of the promised purple leaves on the fast buds Web site, I has on lemon pie this round that is 2 weeks behind the rest due too non germination but I am wondering if a staggered planting each plant exactly one week behind each other would give me a little more canapé space and the treat of harvesting a plant every week, Using the skyline 1000 only I did not too any of these autos 2 x strawberry cheese cake 2 x lemon pie 4 x fyah Sounds like a plan too me, Thanks for reading

Day 68 - 21/11/23 OG Kush is doing her thing nicely! Trichomes are looking 50% cloudy with some amber domes peaking. She's showing me a bunch of different colours!! every other nug has a different look, different hue! Once the medium dries up a little more, Im gonna start the flush. it's a waiting game now 23/11/23 A lot more cloudy trichomes today. OG Kush was flushed until substantial runoff. We're getting close!

Guys Shes looking very good but I am noticing that she is kinda short and I believe she got stressed out after all the techniques we applied on her, I think I will only go with LST/HST and defoliation for next time with the auto flowers, I think they don't have enough time to recover and I think we get to see it here because otherwise she would have grown like the cream Mandarine, she is an XL but not looking like that tho. Everything else is good, either that or too many nutes and she got locked out with nutes which I don't think so since she is giving nice smells and flowers and the main trunk got many compact buds forming sites, I just think I need to let them be since auto genetics are too delicates to fuck with, specially this strain not all the strains responds equally, in my experience amnesia, grapefruit and even cream Mandarine XL are warriors, they will resist and recover fats but this lady os very delicate and need to be trates carefully, we did a lot of experiments on this one and I bet the high is wicked bomb just the fact that will produce ultra high quality bud but not as much as you would expect im guessing 15g dry bud top and probably 40 wet but I will let you know at the end, I think I am going to harvest this girl in about 4-5 weeks from now what do you think? Nothing but colas on all 3 this is going to be a big harvest. Another 2 or 3 weeks max.

I repottet the plant from 5 to 11 liters at day 8. I tried to provide as little stress as possible, by cutting out the bottom of the 5 liter pot, placing it in the 11 liters and then filliung up with earth. Once it were stable, i removed the rest of the 5 liter pot. Sadly i did not have enough coco, so about 30% of the mix is organic soil. I also changed the light hours to accommodate heat. Experienced underwatering on day 12, so i fed 1 liter of nutrient solution and then fed ph 6 water till it came out the bottom of the pot. Upped watering from day 13 to one 0.33 ml nute feeding in the morning, and a 0.33 ml ph water in the evening

Week 8, the last feed! Defoliated to let more air flow and light penetrate down into the lowers of the plant. Bud's are insanely sticky, plant is covered in frost, the pics don't do it justice.

Black cherry gushers got trashed because she had mold. i took a clone cutting tho i will do a diary just for her once i get her to root. Gorilla cookies is making a great comeback!!

Empezamos semana preocupado llebamos unos dias a mas de 35 grados y mucho sol! Y han aparecido hojas secas creo que falta de nutrientes por culpa del calor y sol directo las dejare ala sombra Final 7 semana de vegetacion! Esta santa sativa de dinafem es mas complicada de llebar de lo que pensaba espero que pronto se vea mas sana y fuerte
