12.12 Ok finaly girls got their move to 16L root pouches and straight inside the tent. I mixed them nice "soil" with 50L all mix 15L worm castings and 40L of coco coir. I mixed those and gave a good first watering with BiiRhizo, Root Juice, alg a-mic, acti vera, grow, tarantula and voodoo juice. Then I placed netting. I'm gonna use it trellis style not bending much. Planning to keep as short veg as possible, so as soon as I'm happy with their size I'll flip to 12/12. Less than a week I think. Second watering I gave "pre flower" nutes which are listed above. I'll go with those without Nirvana and carbo load untill I'll flip to flower. I use these bottles of advenced nutrients that I have but I won't be buying more I think. Exept NIrvana, Tarantula and Voodoo Juice. They look little droopy maybe because little getting used to new homes but they good now already. Also 600w HID coming to replace 26w LED is kinda shocking at first. But yeah seems like awesome genetics, fat healthy leafs and same goes to stems. 💪 Ok coming back at ya next week, maybe I have flipped when we'll back..hope I wont flip too much 😜😅😝👺👌 HAHappy growing! 👽

These ladies are solid and filled with tons of orange hairs. The smell is like no other of citrus and fresh cut wood. One week then I am going to flush her.

Well I finally got the new pot pro system up and running with a little spare time today. The plants are of to a great start although I can already see there is going to be a learning curve on the watering and the need for a second bubbler manifold and pump. Merry Christmas!🎁🎄 🎅

Day 58 of flower, and I've officially started the flush! Overall, I'm really happy with how things are looking, but I’m a bit gutted about all the larf below that isn’t getting good light. A lot of the lower growth is going to end up as cookies, but it’s a lesson learned! Next time, I’ll be more aggressive with removing small, weak branches and focusing on the main colas. I’m also planning to flip around day 40 of veg while they’re still small since this Gorilla Glue stretches like crazy once it hits flower, Excited to see how these buds ripen over the next week and the colors they bring!

Week 3 January - 9 January 6 January - feeding day

Day 129 Flower 67 Remaining 10?!? WOW! lol they keep plumping up. most have slowed down but some of the colas are still noticeably growing. The plant on the right is quite a bit different then the other two. much shorter and has different looking colas. much more rounded. Also this plant has lots of white hairs on the main colas. Is this a sign they are still growing? how come the other 2 only have a few white hairs and this one is loaded. another distinction is that this plant hasn't really started fading yet. it has a few purple leaves but doesnt have the fade like the other 2? weird? why this plant so different. I'm quite nervous still but its all good, its just because its foreign to me. most the trichs are clear but theres a growing number of milky ones and the odd amber one. this is for the top colas i've been watching. I'm stoked to see the harvest. theres 24 yo yos in there holding up these massive colas! The flush should be any day now. I'm still confused as to know when i'm a week out and to start the flush?!? I understand harvest is when mostly milky with a few clear and amber. I cant believe the crystals on these ladies. its absolutely insane! also sticky as all hell, amazing! Wonderful harvest! Plants were very dense and frosty and smell was super strong. I made sure to wear gloves so my hands weren't sticky the rest of the day. Very happy with this strain, it seemed to produce quite a bit of dense frosty bud. Nice deep purple leaves at the end. Will update with a smoke report after a 6 day dry, 30 day cure in my Cannatrol.

Purple urkle has done an amazing job in her stretch and not to compensate the 2 lower plants I raised the light as should as they’re powerful these ts1000’s and I wouldn’t of wanted to cause any unnecessary stress BUT I today did raise the pots to canopy level and well if a stretch occurs I’ll just train through the 2 scrogs and keep them level as I have the elders in there that were on week 6 or so when I started these other females! The grape ape I trimmed away weak stems and had a litre accident and snapped one but in experience it will just as act as a topping and provide the energy and make more mains! I love how great the dynomyco showed how different it is when used! So much bud sites so much strength so much vigor! Win Win! Mars hydro lights both ts1000’s are at 100% and doing more than there job! All bud sites are healthy and thriving! And remember this is my first grow with less boosters to see how it fairs to see if there’s a yield difference and at this point I see no difference except for flower start! Stay tuned! Weedweedsexpress seeds are a must as you can see! Big plants big yields full of flavour and aroma and super strengthened always. Wait until the end 💚🌱

Aug 30: it’s still hot (too hot at peak for photosynthesis) so lots of water, watering outside of growbag, etc to cool things off a bit. Sep 1: almost ready. Found a dried leaf and a spot of bud rot which was immediately removed. Main tops are almost ready and I’ll start harvesting this one later this week. Sep 2: buds are looking pretty ready (at least the tops) and the pistils changed colour last night. Heatwave is now past and now we’re into a couple days of smoke from fires in the NWT. Sucks, but at least this is the first serious smoke here this year. Sep 4: decided to do a chemical flush this year. Great buds last year but didn’t burn well because of excess P in late flowering. Considered another flush product but looking at the MSDS sheets that stuff had ‘editic acid’ which is an obscure but acceptable name for EDTA. That is a very strong chelating agent which will remove salts effectively but I’d rather avoid it. In contrast, Final Flush from Grotek has potassium sorbate (generally recognized as safe food additive) and good old citric acid which is a chelating agent but not as strong as EDTA. Similar products but citric acid is more gentle and the plant still gets some potassium. Sep 5: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you follow up with a far red light.

Heeeere we go! Sorry for the late update! This is when I start the flush! I believe the plants are pretty much ready at this point and doing this will just improve the final product! Doing this took me a good chunk of time, mostly because I didn't know exactly how much of water I was going to need (it was a loooot 😫) and how hard/tiring it was to pH it as well. In the end my calculations were off, as I needed far more water than what I had (lol) so I didn't manage to do a full flush... but I still managed to lower the amount of salts and residues to a "decent" level (around 850 to 1500 ppm). I also used flawless finish so I suppose than even when I didn't use enough water that solution alone was enough to help! Besides that the rest of the week was quite calm and relaxing.
