Back on track today is Day 35. In the past I have fed lightly I dont like burnt tips but with the variety of strains in this grow with the co2 I bumped it up a little. Some strains like the Polar Vortex 6 are much more sensitive than some others so it was unavoidable. Other than the tips they are all doing pretty well. The Cherry kush mints in the 4x8 in my eyes is clearly a beast it had the shortest veg time and caught up to most of the big girls. Also its development has been impressive with a unique terp profile at this stage. The sleeper is the garlicane 5. I've grown most of these once or twice before but with the upgrades and the co2 that one has developed nicely and looks like it will put on some serious weight. Things will start to heat up over the next couple weeks. See my IG for some promo codes @bangdangbuds

March 27, 2019: For the most part everything is moving along nicely. The CBD Medi Kush has taken off in the flower room. She is 30 inches tall now and showing lots of nice bud site development. So far I have to say I'm impressed with how things are going in the flower room. The organic methods appear to be working very well. The plants all look super healthy, no signs of any deficiencies and the leaves are all the perfect shade of green - not too dark and not too light.

Doubled the CalMag dose this week and changed the nutrient solution. The degrading of the already yellowing leaves slowed down and I removed them today. Buds are looking real tasty and I think two more weeks until harvest. Trichomes still clear so fingers crossed. Sticky as f but sadly no purple so far 😕

Day 44 - March 25, 2021 Started noticing a couple gnats in our house. It's been warm outside and they are starting to come out. Unfortunately saw some in the room as well and can only assume there are many more feeding on the ladies. Gave foliar spray using Bee Safe Organicide. Gave all the girls a thorough haircut today and worked on trying to get canopy under control. Vegatation was very thick. Doesn't look like deficency issue with F7 is spreading. Continuing to watch for any changes indicating the problem is still ongoing. Gave foliar spray (1:00AM): * Bee Safe Organicide Watering: 03:00AM-3:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 11:00AM-11:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 7:00PM-7:10PM ~0.33 gallons per pot Reservoir: * tested 10:45PM * 2.21 EC * 5.9 PH * 73.94F (with ambient temps being higher, res temp is higher as well) * ~13-gallons remaining before topping off * Added ~5-gallons (solution mixed 3/24) (11:00PM) * 2.16 EC (after topping off) * 5.9 pH (after topping off) * 73.40F (after topping off) * ~18-gallons remaining (after topping off) Lights: * Gavita LEDs On 20-hours (8:00AM - 4:00AM) ** 8:00AM Lights On (100%) ** 1:00AM-4:00AM (Reduced light intensity to 50% for foliar spray) * Gavita LEDs Off 4-hours (4:00AM - 8:00AM) * UV Bars Off 24-hours Air control: 69F-82F (80F AVG) (Lights On) 66F (Lights Off) 50%-65% (56% AVG) humidity (Lights On) 60%-70% RH (Lights Off) ~1181PPM CO2 (Lights On) ~690PPM CO2 (Lights Off) Day 45 - March 26, 2021 Didn't do much in the garden today. Tucked a couple branches under trellis netting and that's pretty much it. Hoping will have the trellis on each cage filled out by next weekend. Nutrient deficiency with F7 seems to be resolved. New growth not showing any issues. Found a dead gnat on a leaf. Bee Safe foliar spray seems to have done the trick. Continuing to keep close eye out for pests. Mixed of nutrient solution (11:00PM): ** 50-gallons RO water (0.06 EC) ** 10ML h2o2 per gallon ** 5ML Botanicare Cal-mag+ per gallon (0.54 EC after Cal-Mag) ** 0.5ML Mills Nutrients Vitalize per gallon ** 10ML Mills Nutrients Basis A & B per gallon ** 4ML Mills Nutrients Start-R per gallon ** 1.25ML pHup per gallon (bring PH from ~5.1 to 5.8) ** ~2.02 EC ** 5.8/5.9 pH Watering: 03:00AM-3:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 11:00AM-11:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 7:00PM-7:10PM ~0.33 gallons per pot Reservoir: * tested 11:30PM * 2.16 EC * 5.8/5.9 PH * 73.94F (with ambient temps being higher, res temp is higher as well) * ~10-gallons remaining * Didn't top off today Lights: * Gavita LEDs On 20-hours (8:00AM - 4:00AM) ** 8:00AM Lights On (100%) * Gavita LEDs Off 4-hours (4:00AM - 8:00AM) * UV Bars On 8-hours (12:00PM - 8:00PM) Air control: 69F-82F (81F AVG) (Lights On) 66F (Lights Off) 50%-65% (60% AVG) humidity (Lights On) 60%-70% RH (Lights Off) ~1268PPM CO2 (Lights On) ~620PPM CO2 (Lights Off) Day 46 - March 27, 2021 Did some more pruning to remove thick foliage and open up nodes. Continuing to tuck branches through trellis. Expect will be ready to go into flower in apprxomately a week. CO2 tank ran out and co2 levels dropped to 330PPM for the first couple of hours of lights on. Replaced tank at 10AM. Watering: 03:00AM-3:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 11:00AM-11:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 7:00PM-7:10PM ~0.33 gallons per pot Reservoir: * topped off with ~18-gallons * tested 9:30PM * 2.06 EC * 5.9 PH * 73.94F (with ambient temps being higher, res temp is higher as well) * ~20-gallons remaining Lights: * Gavita LEDs On 20-hours (8:00AM - 4:00AM) ** 8:00AM Lights On (100%) * Gavita LEDs Off 4-hours (4:00AM - 8:00AM) * UV Bars On 8-hours (12:00PM - 8:00PM) Air control: 69F-82F (80F AVG) (Lights On) 66F (Lights Off) 55%-70% (64% AVG) humidity (Lights On) 60%-70% RH (Lights Off) ~1397PPM CO2 (Lights On) ~330PPM CO2 (Lights Off) Day 47 - March 28, 2021 Didn't do much in the garden today. Deficiency issue on new growth is continuing to newest nodes on F7 and is starting to show in F6, F2, and F3 as well. Also noticed a few leaves with small tip of nutrient burn. Flushed F2, F3, F6, and F7 until runoff EC was equal to input. F1,F4, F5, and F8 look good but will flush those tomorrow as well just in case. Flushed with: * RO Water (starting EC 0.05) * 0.5ML Mills Nutrients Vitalize per gallon * 5ML Cal-Mag+ per gallon * pH 5.8 * EC 0.53 Watering: 03:00AM-3:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 11:00AM-11:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 7:00PM-7:10PM ~0.33 gallons per pot Reservoir: * tested 8:30PM * 2.06 EC * 5.9 PH * 74.48F * ~13-gallons remaining Lights: * Gavita LEDs On 20-hours (8:00AM - 4:00AM) ** 8:00AM Lights On (100%) * Gavita LEDs Off 4-hours (4:00AM - 8:00AM) * UV Bars On 8-hours (12:00PM - 8:00PM) Air control: 69F-82F (79F AVG) (Lights On) 66F (Lights Off) 55%-70% (65% AVG) humidity (Lights On) 60%-70% RH (Lights Off) ~1312PPM CO2 (Lights On) ~1292PPM CO2 (Lights Off) Day 48 - March 29, 2021 Flushed F1, F4, F5, and F8 until runoff EC was equal to input. Also found 4 of 5 fan leaves with Calcium deficiency over the last couple of days. Runoff is PH 5.8 and EC is 0.78. EC in runoff has been very low. I'm pretty confident it's not a PH issue at this point. Seems plants are rapidily soaking up the nutrients in the water. I also found 8 or 9 fan leaves with slight nutrient burn a few days ago. Nutrient burn seems to have tapered off and haven't noticed any spreading. Going to try adding an additional watering to the schedule to see what happens. I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch. Defoliation: * Removed quite a bit of fan leaves suffocating nodes. Girls are 10lbs lighter. Despite the nutrient issues, the girls have been filling out fast. Did a timelapse over the past couple days and can see significant growth in a short period. Gave Foliar Spray Foliar Spray: * 1 Gallon RO Water (EC 0.08) * 10ML CalMag+ per Gallon * 0.5ML Mills Nutrients Vitalize per gallon * PH 6.0 * EC 1.19 Watering: 03:00AM-3:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 11:00AM-11:10AM ~0.33 gallons per pot 8:00PM-8:10PM ~0.33 gallons per pot Reservoir: * tested 11:30PM * 2.06 EC * 5.9 PH * 73.40F * Topped off to approximately 20-gallons Lights: * Gavita LEDs On 18-hours (10:00AM - 4:00AM) ** 10:00AM Lights On (100%) ** 11:00AM Reduced intensity to 50% for foliar spray ** 12:00PM Increase intensity to 75% ** 1:00PM Increased intensity to 100% * Gavita LEDs Off 6-hours (4:00AM - 10:00AM) * UV Bars On 8-hours (12:00PM - 8:00PM) Air control: 69F-82F (77F AVG) (Lights On) 66F (Lights Off) 55%-70% (67% AVG) humidity (Lights On) 60%-75% RH (Lights Off) ~1574PPM CO2 (Lights On) ~880PPM CO2 (Lights Off)

The grow began with great anticipation for these two legendary strains: 420FastBuds Blue Dream and 420FastBuds Moby Dick. Both strains demonstrated strong initial vigor, living up to their reputations. After planting, the seeds of both Blue Dream and Moby Dick sprouted quickly, with healthy roots emerging after just 32 hours. This rapid germination was a promising sign of the robust growth potential these strains are known for. At the 44-hour mark, the seedlings were introduced to their first light. Both Blue Dream and Moby Dick responded well, showing strong early development. The stems appeared sturdy, and the initial leaves were vibrant and healthy. With such a solid start, the grow journey for Blue Dream and Moby Dick is off to an excellent beginning. The fast germination and quick adaptation to light suggest these plants are well on their way to becoming the potent, resilient specimens they are famed for.

🍰 Lava Cake – Final Harvest & Smoke Report GrowDiaries | Week 8 (Harvest & Cure) After months of dedication, lessons, and love, our Lava Cake journey comes to a close — and what an ending it is. Both phenotypes reached maturity beautifully, wrapped in dense, resin-coated buds that carry the unmistakable aroma of sweetness and spice. 🌱 From Seed to Harvest — A Journey in Full Bloom Our Lava Cake journey began from seed with two unique phenotypes, both full of potential and personality. Week after week, through careful nutrition, TrolMaster monitoring, and endless observation, we watched them evolve. From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. Her rich terpene profile brings waves of sweet baked goods, layered with berry and grape undertones inherited from her Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies x Grape Pie heritage. When smoked, she’s smooth, creamy, and sweet, leaving a lingering flavor on the palate that feels like dessert for the senses. The effects are deeply relaxing, melting away tension and replacing it with calm contentment. This isn’t a beginner’s strain — her high is potent, steady, and full-bodied. A few tokes are enough to drift into a deeply peaceful, happy state. Perfect for evenings, rest days, or moments when the world needs to slow down. ⸻ 🌬️ Curing — Grove Bags & UV Glass Jars After trimming, buds were stored in Grove Bags, which naturally maintain humidity between 55–62%, eliminating the need for daily “burping.” These innovative curing bags use a one-way humidity membrane, preserving terpenes and color while preventing mold. Alongside them, we used black UV-resistant glass jars — perfect for long-term storage, protecting cannabinoids from light degradation and keeping aromas fresh. Together, these methods allowed the buds to cure into perfection — firm, aromatic, and bursting with flavor. ⸻ 🔥 Resin, Hash & Full Spectrum Bar All trim from the grow — not just from Lava Cake — was collected to make a full-spectrum bar using simple, natural heat extraction with hot water in a glass bottle. The result was a potent, sticky, terpene-rich concentrate that perfectly captures the soul of the garden. ⸻ ⚖️ Final Yields • Pheno #1: 144g dry • Pheno #2: 99g dry Both phenotypes displayed amazing bud density and structure. In fact, their sheer weight caused a few branches to snap under their own mass — another reason that influenced our harvest timing. These were heavy girls, through and through. 🌿💪 ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude & Reflections To everyone who followed along — thank you. To Zamnesia, for the genetics and inspiration, thank you. To the GrowDiaries community, the supporters, the doubters, and everyone in between — thank you for being part of this experience. And above all, thanks to God, because without Him, none of this beauty — not even the smallest seed — would exist. Growing Lava Cake wasn’t just about cultivation; it was about connection, learning, and the sacred patience of nature. ⸻ 🌀 Closing Thoughts From seed to smoke, these Lava Cakes have been a story of flavor, resilience, and soul. Despite challenges like heat and bud rot, the final result was spectacular: frosty, aromatic, powerful flowers that embody everything beautiful about this craft. As we light the first cured joint, we celebrate not just the harvest, but the journey itself. Until the next grow — stay curious, stay kind, and keep growing. 🌱💚 Thank you to everyone who followed this run — your support, questions, and shared passion have been part of what made this project so rewarding. The full smoke review will follow this harvest report and will be presented in 4K on YouTube, where we’ll document the aroma, flavor, burn, and overall experience with both phenotypes and the pressed hash. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Fast Buds LSD-25 Auto I’m pretty sure I mixed up two seeds. This is definitely going to be purple and looks like most of the other LSD-25 grows here. It’s budding and quite a heavy drinker. It’s also spreading out in the areas over the other plants. I think I’ll only use the shower for 2 plants at a time in the future

Evening fellow growers hope you all had a great weekend. Massive shout to James @RQS for supplying the beans for my current grow. ⚠️ I add photos as the week progress so please stop by and check out the progress. Day 29 the start of week 5, we have started to flower so I will add some flower nutrients this week. Really happy with how these 2 lady’s are progressing. Very bushy low riders. Let’s see what this week brings. Day 31, watered today, upped the amount in water too 1 ltr as these girls are growing. Also added bloom into the mix. I will take some current photos either later today or tomorrow. ✌️ Day 32, just leaving these ladies to it. Low riders 👊🏻✌️ Day 35, the end of the first weeks flower. The front one is nice and short with an even canopy the back on I topped and haven’t really done much else with as didn’t want to stress her anymore. She is loving life. Watered with plain water last night will most probs give another grow feed then onto the bloom. Been rather cold the last few days so hopefully they will be ok. ✌️ Once again thank you all for stopping by and showing the love. ✌️

Alles läuft weiterhin rund. Ich habe zur Vorsicht eine Gelbtafel eingebracht. Da hängt nichts dran, was mich natürlich freut. :)

Very impressive vigour with this strain. Now that the roots are expanding and water activating nutrients, between week 3 & 4 is where I would expect to see exceptional growth. Very happy to date. I will have to select topping or LST sometime this week to keep her on par with the others.

Plants doing well, my humidifier can’t keep up for more than 10 hours now so if I forget to fill it up before work or bed I’m fucked and some of the leaves get destroyed. Overall doing well, been LST the past couple weeks with fim last week. Just added the scrog net today in hope of more LST and I hen canopy support in the future. Might do 2 scrog layers
