This week the new growth of the plants transitioned from looking relatively healthy to droopy and yellowed. I wasn't sure what the issue was at first and thought it might be light stress. After more research, I determined that I had what looked very much like a zinc deficiency, which is almost always a symptom of over-watering, which is the most common mistake for new growers, i.e. "Me". I had assumed that adding a good amount of perlite to my soil and using smart pots would prevent me from running in to any drainage issues but I guess not. I was up to 1.5 liters per plant when I realized that it was too much. I also realized I was misreading my syringe which I use to mix nutrients, and that i had been giving only 1/10 of the liquid nutrients that I thought. I'm super embarrassed about the mistake but I'm going for full transparency here, so there it is. Course correction takes places after day 31.

Hey now, was a pretty good week for the Sour D, I didn't really make any changes as far as the nutes, still at EC of 1.6, with water from my dehumidifier, then cal mag, then maxi bloom powder, then liquid kool bloom. Only real issue I had this week was on day 58 I noticed her leaning a little bit, and I went to move her pot, and she almost toppled over. It really scared the crap out of me, so that is why you now see all the wire tires wrapped around her base. Definitely something I will be more mindful of in the future. Still dealing with high temps and humidity, but my dehumidifier has been a real Beast. I will also add that when I open that tent, the smell of Diesel Fuel, and Lemons smack me in the face like a 2x4. I have never smelled anything that pungent before. I am amazed at how well my Terra bloom carbon filter is doing, although I am sure it helps I have an 8x24" inch filter and Infinity T8 exhaust running on the lowest possible setting in my tiny little tent. Really hoping for some thick and sticky flowers! Thanks for checking me out and and Blaze On....

Ztrawberriez auto is growing great. She is on the end half of her bulking. She has about 2 weeks left. Everything has been going great. She dud good for a 1 gal perlite grow. 8/10: Seeing great growth now..lots of branching. I actually fed them yesterday, but didn't update...several have popped some pistils and pretty much the rest are about to, and I'm out of bat guano, so I went ahead and gave them Open Sesame so they'd have more P available over the next several days. 8/11: I rearranged the garden a little. Moved all four #10's to the right side, the #4's are mostly in the middle...very branchy..the others, mostly to the left are the #2's and maybe a #3. The big plant on the lower left is an auto, as is the runt, and the plant at lower right. The "fern-looking" plant is actually a Jacaranda Tree (blue fern tree)...it's about to get kicked out... 8/12: I did a little training on some of the bushier #4's today. I don't have much space to work with, but I was able to do a little to encourage a race for apex dominance. There were enough pistils on them that I decided to switch the week to "Flowering." 8/13: I fed them today with ONE and added Open Sesame, Silica, Signal, and Sweet & Sticky. I sprayed them all with Axiom (Harpin proteins) and Boom Boom Spray right at dark. 8/14: BAM! They are poppin pistils left and right now...lotsa lovely little cotton tops.👍 8/15: Day 15 since the flip to 12/12..good progress. The #2's and #10's are stacking up and stretching pretty well and the #4's just keep bushing up.

Day 53 of flower today. I filled the reservoir from empty and stopped using the macro. I replaced it with General hydroponics Ripen at 5ml a gallon. Everything is frosty and smells good. As far looks I like the RC the best and the PE the least. I'm going to end up with a sheet ton of it out of the 3 so I hope I'm wrong! 😆 I'm going to do a lower defoliation mid week to get more air flowing. RH is stable but I just want to be careful 🧐 being this close to the finish line. This is definitely one of the easiest runs I've had. It seems PE is pretty maxed when it comes to nutrition but LMC and RC could take a bit more. My PE phenotype is super stretchy compared to them as well.
