These girls continue to develop but not really swell. I have a lot mixed feelings right now about these girls. They don't have the strong blueberry smell I was really hoping for. So maybe I'm just setting the wrong expectations. They do smell good but not the sweet as of right now. Having said that, they continue to change in smell so I might get what I want. They have really changed over the last week and due to this I started viewing the trichomes. They are looking fairly developed for six weeks. We'll see what happens over the next days.

This plant was the first of the 4 to come up, it also basically exploded out of the shell in the germination process. While she was still in water I could already see green leaves lol. She’s really plugging along. This is a cross made by a friend of mine and is the first time it’s being grown.

USB FANS -- Small usb fans at the end of ducting are effective intake air filters. HOWEVER the fans are cumbersome the wires are a pan in the as. design 2 part clip gravity 4 inch wire. twists thru fan . ONE tlong up the tube for balance other to CLIP on to duct. 3am clips are good new designs emerging. fasting all night so I can work and get new ideas. fans are a go, we have a new design using clips, no external wires. the load bearing usb wire is safe, not load bearing to the connections just the cable, its perfect.. What a fantastic grow, this has now overtaken another plant thst was started 2 weeks before this F1, the growth on this plant is phenomenal !! Buds look like they have started to form nicely, as this is an auto i have taken to try and tuck levlaves in to open more light to buds below as I do not want to defoliate being an auto. Still amazed at the speed of this strain and already looking forward to next week's update for you all. 🌱

Crazy and extremely variable wheater this week but what a runner! In 7 days RG passed the oldest "special kush # 1" growing 2 centimetres a day. Perfectly healthy, I decided not to top her. Starting LTS. Smell will be a problem later.

The fun is starting! Lots of pistils popping on her and she’s stretching! At this phase when I see sites I foliar feed with liquid manganese, 1 ml per gallon, and do this one time, after week 3/4 when I really see trichomes I don’t foliar feed anymore I also am using a bunch of new nutrients for this run that I honestly did a lot of eye measuring once I got it down lol, so feel free to ask any questions and I’d be glad to fill you in! I used every ingredient from silica to microbes and enzymes, sulfur, molasses etc, I felt like a mad scientist this run lol

Day 35 - All still growing very strong, both plants that aren’t being mainlined are very short & bushy but have a lot of bud sights! This strain has taken very well to mainlining as well, the double mainline is up to 8 tops now and doing great! Thank you to everyone for following & make sure to check back for daily updates! Day 44, 30th of October 2020: Here we go I am back from holiday this girl grew a lot. The first 6 pictures before LST and the rest is after picture. I switches the light to 12/12 from tomorrow and leave her in darkness for one day from now. She has got already some smell also... ;) I have ordered and extraction fan kit so with filter it will be used soon. Next week starts more intensive fertilization as well :) Let's start to flower hahaha :) Happy Smokes ;)

Day 63 ( again!): Well folks it had been a very busy week in the room with harvesting and preparing for more. The #2 Gorilla is drying nice and slowly in around 15°c cool air and has now been joined by the #1 and #3 Gorilla girls too. They both surprised me with the amount of buds tucked away below their canopy and although not the tallest plants , they should yield ok for it. Their buds were rock solid and so pinapple scented and tasting !. I nipped a small side off a few day ago to sample #1 and it was so sweet and smooth. wow a nice hit too. roll on cure and jar time. ....the pics don't do them justice up close but hopefully you can see the likeness to GG4 in their make up as opposed to #2and 4 #4 Gorilla girl is now at day 63 so ready for the end now. I will leave her a day or two more then put her into darkness for her pre trim oil push. I did nip chunks from her stem in a few places to hsrrsss her a little to also push some oils, hopefully this will pay off. Sweet Cheese has finished well too now. her main bud is thick amd very solid. She leaves a sticky finger and diesel stench like nonother strain can.lpl Her time is also now. Hopefully the next time we see these two ladies left , they will be trimmed for the dry. There is a berry kind of hit to it though only weak at present . I am pleased she yielded what she did and seeing how much shrinkage I had, worried me for a short while.lol Her trim was not a manicure due to the nature of her buds being Berry looking on drying and so much frost to keep the tiny leaf pieces left in , very active.lol so here are her stats 63 Day flower 50.60g (2.1oz) Not to be sniffed at for her size at all. 1st week out of the veg tent, post 1st defoliation. I like to do all my major training in Veg to prevent further stress in flower. I cut all lower fan leaves off and any unnecessary bud sights (ones that I know will not get any light) - Keep in mind these bitches STRETCH & grow massive fan leaves which block out almost all the light to lower sections of the plant. So you will have to remove leaves, how many is up to your preferred method.
