Welcome back at week 6 in vegetative stage of my Sensi Amnesia feminized by Sensi Seeds. She does great and almost the whole 60x60 space is filled with the 8 new mains. I will give her one more week and a defoliation in a few days. I am amazingly happy with her and can’t wait to start flowering stage. Day 44: defoliation Day 47: I flipped the switch to 12/12 ! I'm a little late on the update, super busy. Everything is still looking good. I took 2 of the smallest clones down as a sample. Other than slightly harsh due to quick dry is was good for early. Definitely looking forward to full maturity!!! I figure they have another week and they're done. I can smell the wine and the trim already 😁❤️😁 Happy growing everyone ✌️🍀✌️

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Hey guys, Into week 10. I have only water the ladies once since last update of the usual 50mL of molassas to 5gal of water pH to 6.2. Water each plant about 6-7L each. They are getting thirsty fast. We had a few thunderstorms roll through the area and watered the shit out of the plants. So couldn't stick to a normal watering schedual. Plants are very bushy! Flowering will start mid/late August so I have possibly 1-2 more times I can top the plant. There is a plan for next watering for another round of defoiliation and topping. We will see... Hope you guys are enjoying the updates. Plant is comming along nicely!

With no doubt these plants have not produced much more quantity and density of buds due to the 2 serious mistakes I've made (those who have read the weeks will know what I mean). However, I can say that I am happy with the production obtained given the mistakes made. Between the 2 plants, the one that has produced more and generated the most dense buds has been the Gorilla with the Man-lining technique applied, it has also loosed a bit less weight drying than the non man-lining one. In comparison with the Money Makers with which they have grown the result is the same. Both Gorillas have each produced more than any of the Moneys comparing them 1 to 1. Also buds are a bit dense than the moneys, but none of them is really desde at all. *****ESPAÑOL***** Sin duda estas plantas no han producido mucha mas cantidad y densidad de cogollos debido a los 2 graves errores que he cometido (quien se haya leído las semanas sabrá a que me refiero). No obstante, puedo decir que estoy contento con la producción obtenida dados los errores cometidos. Entre las 2 plantas, la que más a producido y ha generado cogollos más densos ha sido la Gorilla con la técnica de Man-lining aplicada, y también ha perdido un poquito menos de peso en el secado que la otra. En comparación con las Money Maker junto a las que han crecido el resultado es el mismo. Las Gorillas han producido cada una más que cualquiera de las Moneys comparándolas 1 a 1. Así mismo, los cogollos de las Gorillas presentan un pelín más densidad que el de las Moneys, aunque realmente ninguna de las 4 plantas ha generado cogollos densos del todo.

While it may only take a little knowledge to get started, It seems that this may take a life-time to perfect (doubt I'll ever make that category, but I will certainly try). Your efforts to supply the data storage alone is more than enough, but you the fact that you dont stop there and constantly try to improve the experience even more makes this my favorite community to to share on. And then lastly, but certainly not least, a heartfelt Thank-you to Royal Queen Seeds for your branding/research while making these seeds available to people like me. It gives me confidence in knowing that I am working with great genetics before I even start my grow. ---------------------------- Germination Start and incubation period 3/12/24 to 3/26/24 Transfer Day to Veg Day 6 3/27 to 4/2 Germination: First note was about the appearance of the seeds. They were smaller than I am used to seeing, but no damage or deformities and look to be in good shape. Germination took 14 days from dropping in water to transplanting into 1 gallon pots. 23hours in a glass of 6.3ph room temp RO water. 2 cracked open a little and I placed them both in paper towels wet with the glass water and pasted to the sides of the glass for 2 days then checked, no progress. So I freshened the water then waited another 2 days and checked, little to no progress. Then checked again 1 day later and finally was able to move them. One looked fully ready and the other seemed less ready. I placed in rapid rooter pods and closed with toothpick tips. 1 popped out of the pods in 1 day but the other did not. So I gave it 1 more day and started my spare seed. After 4 days of water and towels I replaced the dead pod with a growing sprout. Transplant occurred on 3/27 Veg Day 0 to 6 1gal hard tall pots. Transplant went well. The sprouts are smaller than I would like and seem to be stubborn in growth to start but hoping htat changes with soil. One pod was overgrown in the pods and Im hoping it doesn't reflect in the overall plant production. Video: Transplant ease. Transplant to 1 gal pots: I am using a 50/50, 50%perlite/50%soil with a .5lb of dolomite lime and a .5ml of flora micro added to .5 gallon of RO water (Im mixing 2 gallons of soil total so the water to soil ratio is 1/4 of the total medium volume) to achieve a soil tested ph of 6.4. I am using a 50/50 soil/perlite mix because I plan to use these in auto pots. I also used about 1 cup of the same soil mix water to pour around the plant after transplant; you can see how the perlite rises to the top where I did this. I sprayed two domes and covered - I plan to leave covered for the first week. Feed: I kept them under the domes and sprayed every day that I didnt feed them, to keep humidity up while I let them find water in the soil. By the end of the week I took the domes off and took pictures. Feed this week was another 1 cup of 6.3ph water 5 days after transplant. Feed plan next week will increase the amount to 2 cups of plain-no-nute water with about 4 days between feeds. I want to see the water run through so if I need to use more than 2 cups I will. The idea is to water deep and through, but then make them search for more before the next feed, hopefully spreading the roots out while doing it. Veg Plan: I plan on 8 colas for each plant. So that will be 3 topping days and a total of 7 cuts. I will want to cut the first time on day 21 if I have 5+ nodes. I will transfer to 5 gallon auto pots with-in 1 week of the first topping. Once I have 3 nodes of new growth past the first topping, I will top those two branches to the first node again. (that's 3 cuts total by this point) Then, after 3 new nodes of growth after that, I will do a last topping on the 4 branches. (4 new cuts added to make a total of 7 cuts and 8 colas) I will train the branches using LST/HST with tie downs as soon as I can after the first topping day to help maintain the branches growing where I want them to. I will also introduce an adjustable tomato ring after they have settled into the 5 gallon forever pots to provide support and mobility Hopefully all goes well, and I will have 1 to 2 weeks of growth before flip after week 8. I think it sounds more ambitious than it really is, but if you follow this journal, we will see together.

All looks good after the slow start i had lst planned, but since the nodes are short i'll keep it this way. first signs of flowering is visible too now, very eager to see how she progresses

Flowering – Week 10 | Day 67 (Week 15 overall) Quick update focused on the Future #1 plants. At this stage, everything is developing largely as expected, with no major surprises. The two Future #1 plants show slightly different levels of maturity, with one being a bit further along than the other, but this remains well within a normal range of variation. Overall, the grow is running very stable. There is currently very little intervention required. The routine mainly consists of watering roughly every four days and allowing the plants to continue their natural development. For now, the plan is simply to keep observing and give the plants the time they need to fully finish. 🌿

We’ve hit week five of flowering, and things are getting really exciting! 🌸 The plant is now covered in trichomes, and many of them are already turning a milky color—such a great sign that things are progressing perfectly. The buds are starting to look really frosty. ❄️✨ I’ve been following the BioBizz week 6 feeding schedule, as it’s almost time to flush the plant—just 2-3 more weeks to go! 💧 I’m getting more excited each day as we move closer to harvest. Can’t wait to see how everything finishes up! 😁🌱

I am no longer going to be using the fox farm nutrient line not for any other reason than I just want to switch it up and go with something else before I go into flower. I'm not saying fox farm if a bad line, I just want something different. I feel fox farm is the line you go to when your first starting out and buying from Amazon, not downing anyone I've done it myself we've all been there and it works well for the price. But if you get their full line including Bush doctor and all it gets to be a bit mutch. I haven't went that far yet because of that, I don't want to feel like I have to buy 12 different nutrient solutions and when you do you find out you really only needed 5 or 6. Its for this reason I've decided to go with the Mills line of bottled nutrients their line up is 6 solutions total they are a bit pricy for the 6 one of the bottles being $120.00 US alone, but I'm also a firm believer in you get what you pay for and every resource and review I've seen makes me have high expectations for this nutrient line. Updates soon to come over the next few weeks as I have been currently flushing my plants for the past 2 days getting ready for the new neuts. I flushed with just straight water ph 6.0 the first day and again the next day (today Jul 25) and once again a few hours later with cal mag, silica and a little bit of recharge to help hold the plant over until I feed the new neuts and help ease them in as well. So far so good... removed most of the lower branches at the very end of the week...let's see the improvement in the week to come...also with the stronger branches that where removed tried my hand at cloning again( y not see if I can get more trees) just have to wait n see
