Todo y habiendo unas temperaturas en el exterior de 0ºC en el interior se está bastante bién. 😋 Así de primeras diria que esta luminaria me parece de lo mejorcito que he tenido nunca, reparte la luz como ninguna otra penetrando mucho mejor. Otra es la comodidad para bajar o subir la potencia y la posibilidad de añadirle un controlador que monitorea la temperatura de la sala de cultivo, el fotoperiodo y la intensidad, así como la atenuación de potencia. Esta semana cansado de ir bajando o subiendo la potencia del extractor durante todo el año he decidido probar un SMSCom Smart Controller. De esta manera espero no sufrir tanto por las subidas ni por las bajadas de temperatura. Muchas veces son las que por A o por B descuido el interior y casulamente son los dias que el tiempo cambia repentinamente. Un primer foliar con Delta9 para que se pongan fuertes para lo que les viene.

It's seems that Athena finally stopped her stretch and hoping that Xena will follow her sister very soon. Buds are gaining weight and size rapidly. Lots of nice colours and tonnes of trichomes on those buds already. Week 10 Dec 18-24 Dec 18-19 Mainly observation. Xena is still stretching like crazy. both girls are developing beautifully. Dec 20 First watering for this week. 7.5 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH's Athena 6.2 Xena 6.3. Dec 21 Due to lack of light at lower parts of conopy decided for another selective defoliation, lowered a bit tallest branches with colas dangerously close to light by tieing them to netting. Couple cm will make a huge difference here. Could not clear well at the back wall of the cabinet due to limited access.I'm very happy with final result. Tag 25: Umtopfen der 4 Schwestern in 11 l Air-Pots. Ich habe Bio-Bizz Coco mit ca. 20 % Perlite gemischt. Auf jedem Boden der Airpots habe ich ca. 5 cm dick Blähton (Plagron Euro Pebbles)als Drainage und bessere Luftzufuhr an der Unterseite des Topfes eingebaut. Von 6 Pflanzen, die 4 ähnlichsten und gesündesten ausgesucht. Die Blattfarbe ist schon „sehr“ grün😁, daher wurde in dieser Woche die Düngezugabe etwas reduziert. Ich werde es diese Woche beobachten und wahrscheinlich nochmal reduzieren. Die Mädchen benötigen nicht viele Nährstoffe. Sie entwickeln sich optisch eher Indica mäßig, klein, runde Blätter und buschig.....wir werden sehen. Die Temperatur schwankte zwischen 19 Grad in der Nacht und 25 am Tag. Die RLF schwankt zwischen 45 und 55 %. Heute werden die Ladies getoppt, dass gehört jedoch in die nächste Woche.... also dann mehr dazu ✌️🏾

Finally it's harvest time! I really can't wait for this strain to finish drying...it smells so delicious... Gave them only water with some clean fruits which is basicly humic acid for 10 days not because of some 'washing' just because i want to reuse some of the earth to keep some of the established beneficial bacteria and want it drained of most fertilizer Actually i don't believe in 'washing' ...i don't wash my garden tomatoes too...neither did i with my outdoor cannabis plants that grew in the ground and i found no evidence of any difference in harshness or taste Next week some update with final weight and of course a smoke report

So… 12 cuttings, 2 are toast right off the bat. 3 have rooted, 1 of which was transplanted into 3 gal pot and the two 8 day clones will stay another day in the humidity dome in veg tent (now known as Planck). My flowering tent is called Einstein (don’t judge me!) 😂 I have the vs1000 at 25% in Veg tent and sf4000 at 100% in flowering tent. I decided that I want feminized seeds from one (2) of these ladies so I’m going to pick two clones, one to get hit with colloidal silver to make pollen sacks and the other to get pollinated. Since both clones are female they don’t have the Y chromosome so they can’t make male seeds (although you could have a herm I guess and not know it. Maybe? Dunno) When the colloidal silver disrupts the plants normal flowering process it makes the plant make pollen sacks but doesn’t change the DNA of the plant so you are only getting XX from the pollen. And the recipient plant is also XX so the resulting seeds are only female. If I’m wrong please correct me…anyone!! What if I pick two clones from same mother?! Hmmmm. Also got to be careful to not pollinate the 7 in the flowering tent (Einstein). Plastic bags over the plant? Separate tent enough? We will see… I’m naming the clones that root after famous female scientists I admire. The first one is Ada, after Ada Lovelace, who was an English mathematician and writer, chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage's proposed mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine. Almost at harvest. This is the last week of feeding then on to flush. I have it an extra week as I said before was not really satisfied with the overall performance of drip hydro. Buds seem to small and not dense as other nutrients I’ve used. I will definitely run drip hydro again see if I can get better results. The real test will be at harvest after weighing. Topped this little herercane on day 11 and she is starting to grow some little branches. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon. Other than that just playing the waiting game....

Lights running 60% Planning next week to turn on undercanopies

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. The plant grows well, it stays in the sun in the morning and evening, the rest of the day indoors with a LED light. The days are sunny, with light wind, the temperature is slightly below average. I use decanted water. In a few days I will transfer it completely outdoors

Questa settimana c'è stato un po' di rallentamento dopo il travaso.nella foto sono al giorno 42. Una di loro dovrà andare via, sono in un box 90x90 (3×3) e ci sarà un'altra settimana di vegetativa, per poi essere messe in un vaso da circa 12 litri (3 gal). Già 5 mi sembra saranno troppe, in caso una riceverà una defoliazione sia prima che dopo la fioritura. Vedremo. Buon cultivo a tutti ✌️. Giorno 45: travaso in vasi da 8,5 litri. Tra due giorni darò una pulita alla parte inferiore dei rami, eliminando i rami che non raggiungeranno gli altri apicali. Di 6 piante ne ho tenute 5. 1 afghan skunk in alto a sinistra nell'ultima foto.1 dos si dos 33 in alto a destra sempre nell'ultima foto e 3 industrial plants. Great week in growth. I started to use side led light and turning table, as on video. Now plant has light from top and all sides. Size of some leaves is XXL. Plant is not very fast in maturing, but very strong in structure.
