Good day to all my friends and visitors here on GD. Decided to finally finish this diary, I took my time with his one ;) Now we cut the second POGP auto plant, the first cut you can find in week 17. The plant from week 17 weighted 660g. wet, this one finished at 1,85kg. wet. The girls where autoflower but thanks to me starting this grow in cold day temps (14 degree Celsius) the started flower really late, maybe that's also the reason for all my problems with this strain during the grow?! The two plants where different phenotypes, the smaller one (from Week 17)though small had nice hard flowers, the bigger one as the only plant from four I grew during the growop started foxtailing. Both of them branched nicely the smell was quite strong and awoul xD like gasoline and something rotten, it smelled so bad i checked a couple times under microscope for any signs of mold in the flower and to my suprise I found nothing. Thank God later during drying the smell would subdue to a more generic "hazediesel" smell -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SE7000 done it's magic with this grow as with all my other grow ops. As you can see at the beginning of the video, the Gorilla Punch was infested with spider mites at the end. I sepereted her directly outside the greenhouse. High time to harvest them before something worse happens… After 67 days in total from seed to harvest she got cut off👨‍🌾 it is dried in a cardboard box in the cellar at about 20 degrees Because of the spider mites there were some rotten buds, maybe 2-3g i have to cut off. It was definetly the smallest plant of them all. The bud rot is caused by the plant herself... nearly every bud was produced directly at the stam buds directly at the stam.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a safe weekend. I currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. I did hear from another grower that Medic Grow does sell a controller that has this feature for $300. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. The flowering is developing well, but my substrate is too draining, I have to water very often

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

The dolomite lime top dressing seems to have helped my PH and calcium lockout issue, no new brown spots...i moved both plants into the tent this week from the veg room, they're now under a Philips 315watt (3100k) CMH..i'll add a second Phillips bulb come flower.. I won't be feeding for the next few weeks, I suspect the roots are just now getting out of the Promix and into the good stuff :)

Week 1 sretch and lollipopped

13 Weeks total including 1 week flush. Super easy to grow, LST her from the get go and she responded well. First time growing autos and all very easy Smells incredible! Very fruity, The yield looks pretty good, no scales tho but will try to weight when dry. Big heat issue during flower which fucked a lot of the girls, her included, so I think the yield would have been bigger but we got a nice amount in the end Have trimmed her and put in a box to stop light getting in with strings holding her up, hopefully will dry ok as others are still going so can't hang in grow room as per usual Will dry for a day or 2 until stems snap, then into jars for curing there after UPDATE: Dried for 4 days - small nugs fully dried, larger still a little moisture inside, have jared with a Boveda in each jar to help maintain moisture levels in the jars and are popping jars twice a day if not more for 10 mins or so a time. Dry Weight in jars @ 49 grams total, I expect it to go down a little but not much, really happy with the yield amount Smoke wise tastes nice but know a few weeks in the jars will really open her up :)
