The girls have survived another week ❤️ I did a light defoliation and have been monitoring the RH closely. We have had a very damp week here, and the RH kept climbing and had my fan working hard. They are starting to plump up and fill in 😋. They have also started to slow their drinking habits, instead of watering every three days, it has moved to every 4 now. Just a couple of weeks left, I think I will be harvesting these over Christmas 🎄, and will have some great bud ready for the new year! 🎉🎊🍾

The plant is ok, we are near the harvest. Because she is the smallest , she drinks less than the others plants I have. Also I've done some research for my problem, and I'm gonna wash the buds. I have read a lot of opinions and all the people that at first were sceptical, say that now they doing it all the time, so I'm gonna try it! If the flavour and the overall experience is good, I'll do it also on my gorilla. And what's your opinion on "bud washing"? Let me know in the comments! Here the weather is gonna be bad for the next days so I'm a lil worried because I'm so near the harvest and I'don't want to fck up things now. Harvest time for Divine storm. Not much to say about this strain, except this is my last time growing it. July 11 update, 84 grams dry weight. Same taste and smell as before, a wine taste with a bit of fruit.

This one's going faster then thought, it's an autoflower on 12/12 from seed, so the yield isnt expected to be really high. The seed on 18 hours schedule would finish in around 6,5-7 weeks I've heard that it's going to be the same on a 12/12 schedule 😀 ofcourse that will lower yield too. But.. for buds in the fourth week since the first signs of flowering hairs all looks good, feeding is on the max with an EC of 2.38 ! Light is 100w chinese cob on 220v on the sides 2x 50W - 12V, both powered at around 35 watts making 170 watts together ( to compensate the short time schedule of 12/12) I'm kinda new to autoflowers, I heard about small yield, I'm aiming towards 30g/plant dry bud, I'll be happy with a wet weight of 200grams for the whole plant.

Week 8 and the Tart Pops girl is looking frosty and fragrant — sweet candy terps with a tangy twist filling the tent. Buds have packed on some serious weight over the past two weeks, with dense colas coated in a thick layer of sticky trichomes. The colors are starting to show hints of purple and pink under the sunlight, giving them that “dessert shelf” look. Pistils are about 70–80% turned, and trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few clear still hanging around. Feedings are being tapered down, and the plants are cruising into their final phase before the flush begins. Estimated harvest window Day 63–70 (Week 9–10) depending on trichome maturity. A few more days to let those terps peak and resin fully ripen before the chop. The Tart Pops are almost ready to live up to her name — sweet, sticky, and seriously tempting.

I started germination of 2 Amnesiac Automatic beans on 01/01/2021. HAPPY NEWYEAR! I am germinating them using rockwool cubes and a humidity dome. I pre moistened my plugs with ph balanced water to 6.4 . Than enlarged the pre made holes using a wooden dowel. Than sowed my 2 beans into the holes. I then ripped a small piece of rockwool off each plug and mulched it up. Than lightly filled in the holes using the mulched rockwool. Than it was into the humidity dome to marinate, and complete the germination process. Will likely take roughly 4 days to get some sprouts. Starting my adventure with Spliff Seeds Amnesiac Automatic. After they emerge I will get the plugs planted into 5 gallon pots to rock and roll. Cant fucking wait! Some background information on my experience with Amnesiac auto. I grew 2 of these ladies in one run. This variety stayed in veg for 6 weeks before it made the transition to flower. Produced 2 super branchy plants resulting in a mighty full canopy. Obviously resulting in quite a large yeild. Buds were relatively dense but super chunky! Fat colas were in an abundance. Plants were great height roughly 3 feet, and Not super stretchy. Strain responded well to lst and had no stunting as a result of light bending and manipulation. Very easy going in the nutrient department. Had no trouble at all meeting their dietary needs. Buds were very resinous and unleashed quite a euphoria! I was VERY impressed with the first run. So let's see how the second run goes.

Flowering goes good, also found the possible reason of slowy grow of one of the plants.

Starting the week healthy after a week of recovering from nuit burn. Strong growth continues and added a 3000W LED in the middle. Lights as far up as possible and raised the reflective curtain to capture the escaping light. The tallest tops do not appreciate the speed two of the fans. Lowered to speed one and added an oscillating fan to move air below the canopy.

This is a test-grow of Barbarian, a cross of AK-47 from Serious Seeds with Barbara Bud from from House of the Great Gardener (HotGG) made by Mat, the head-breeder of HotGG, in Canada. I had the honor of getting three test seeds at the Cultiva-Tradeshow in Austria and could not wait to start them after I got home. The two test-plants were grown on soil under HPS and alongside my normal grow of AK-47 plants inside a big Secret Jardin tent and fed with Advanced nutrients.

Day 63. She is going down, my fastest ever big healthy plant. Looking at first waves 3 numbers, I think it's not even 2 ounces plant, it's f@cking THREE !!! ;)))))))))))) Day 71. Pheno #1 New floral notes took place. Still sweet and fruity, but the gas has dissipated. Great density and bud size. Pheno #2 Sour citrus dominated by lime aromas. Good density Beautiful buds covered in trichomes Probably the keeper Pheno #3 Bananas, pineapples, damp earth Biggest buds but not the stickiest Pheno #4 WOW!!! Huge aroma switch here!! GASSY af. Turns out to be my fav for the terpene profile. Not the most vigorous/productive one tho. Gas/sweet/exotic wood Pheno #5 Tropical and hazey Needs more delarfing Definitely more on the sativa side.

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Looking for some bud swelling to kick in!! Bud Fusion being introduced this week. Into the last phase of feeding during flower now. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Still continuing to play with the light intensity and seeing how the girls react to my environment conditions when pushed harder. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail…..
