Hi Growmies, My apologies for the delayed update, but work life balance got a bit out of wack recently. Anyways, water was changed on time and general maintenance took place. Continued with very light defoliation to really guarantee that all the shoots get equal light exposure. She is turning out to be a real beauty and literally no Scr.O.G was necessary due to her natural structure. Buds are already forming very compact and dense to touch, something that’s always a good sign ;) Since this is my first proper DWC grow I am actually quite impressed by the root growth and the resulting nutrient uptake, as well as vigor in plant growth. Is it btw just me or is this website getting slower, buggier and laggier by the day? Videos won’t upload, weeks don’t reflect, diaries won’t update….

She started to stack up, in week 10 I will give her Overdrive and keep Big Bud. I think to cut off few fan leaves before she start fattening up

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Growing this popsicle cake definitely had its ups and downs. What started out looking like a dud of a seed turned out to be something pretty spectacular. Stacks the buds nicely to fill up the whole colas, super frosty, with an un godly stench of sweaty dirty socks. Still in the curing process but definitely has a heavy indica punch!

This plant plus one more started to wilt earlier on in the week, I figured it was probably time to transplant seeing as they had been in the solo cups for 2 weeks. After transplant plants seemed to be happy again. I introduced amino acids this week as well. They are getting the grease spray and drench program

WEEK 6 This Black Runtz is growing at a vigorous pace and has handled all training perfectly so far. I’ve topped her to 16 shoots, and she’s developed with a very even structure. Overall, her growth has been quite stretched up to this point. I’m hoping she won’t get too tall later during flowering. Everything still looks really promising and gives hope for a great bloom phase. Next week, I’ll switch the lights to 12 hours to initiate flowering. This week, my lamp ran at 500 PPFD, and I watered once with plain water and once with nutrient solution.

Hey everyone! Another week has flown by for the Stickies, and as usual they haven't slowed down one bit. Flowering sites are multiplying nicely across all plants. Two of them haven't developed the thickest stems yet, but it's still early days and plenty of time to see how things evolve. On the feeding side, I raised the EC by another 0.1, as runoff EC was consistently coming in below input. Plants are handling it perfectly. The box has a clear boss this week. Despite topping, LST and even super cropping on some of the main stems to keep her in check, she's hit the 1 meter mark and shows no intention of stopping, making the canopy uneven. She's being watched very closely. VPD keeps dropping as the dense canopy pushes humidity beyond what the current dehumidifier can handle. If it stays consistently above 65%, I'll be adding a second unit for the final weeks of flower to ensure tight, dense and resinous buds at harvest. First pistils appeared over the last couple of days. Bud formation is officially underway and I'll be supporting it with Big Bud. I love this hobby. At this point it's a full-blown passion, bordering on obsession. Happy growing everyone! 🙌

This is such a long week ! It has been raining heavily for 5 days (like non stop raining ) which causes the humidity in the room to rise and the temp dropped fast. Not so sure if the red stem was caused by the temp drop or not. The humidity level rose to 85% which worries me very much . Even the small dehumidifier doesn’t seem to help. This could potentially causes me more problems such as bus rotting . Let’s hope after the rain the RH is going back to normal. For this week really nothing much but i will have to increase the PPM level of the medium cuz i can see a lot of bud sites forming up but struggling to get dense LOL 😤😤 “BUT” i can’t adjust the PPM now because i broke my TDS meter by dropping it into the water . Silly me ! I want to give a piece of advice for you guys out there , NEVER buy a non waterproof TDS meter .Just think about it , the equipment is a water measurement tool but it is not waterproof . Trust me , just buy the waterproof ones so you don’t have to reinvest again 🚫🚫 **I am in week 4 of flowering is it weird that i can’t see any trichomes yet?**

In the third week of the cannabis flowering stage, I have been working to reduce deficiencies. I used PK 13-14 for the first time at a very low dose. Humidity is consistently at 55%, temperature is maintained between 23-24 degrees Celsius, and I am following a 12-hour light/dark cycle. 🔄 I welcome any tips!
