Most of the week was spent setting up the hydro grow. Needed to build a DIY chiller since air temp in our grow room is hot, and water needs to be a good deal colder. Fridge from kijiji, garden hose, fittings, and submersible pump all in were under $100 but knowing what I know now I'd likely go with a thermoelectric chiller (DIY, with power supply and temp controller) next time around. Looking forward to tracking metrics and seeing how it goes :). Seems there's a lot of contradiction in terms of level of nutrients recommended, max water temperature, using H2O2 to boost water temp that can keep algae and rot at bay, etc. Got my hands on some Hydroguard via Amazon... despite local shops saying you can't get it in Canada... so I'm going to go with that instead of H2O2 to start, despite water temp getting up above 21 C (70 f) during the day. Fingers crossed. Update - keeping water reservoir tank under 20 C now by using reflective bubble wrap insulation on the reservoir itself and pipe insulation as well. It's a 10 C difference from the room temp, so I'm SUPER pleased with that.

These plants got off to a slow start, as I can tell by the pony tail root system. They were scrawny little plants from the get go. I believe due to a couple reasons. Colder night time temperatures in my tent and in the reservoirs, creating anthocyanins as a cold defense which has given them some color. Talk about the smell of blackberries. Did I say Blackberries! I’m not one to throw things out so I gave them some love and patience. You can tell these girls are fighters. Check out the resins drops in the second video. That's why I rated Blackberry a 10 was because of the resin drops. Can't wait to grow again, expecting larger yields.

So yeh this weeks been good. This is the first flowering entry even tho they’ve been on a 12/12 cycle for about a week now because I wanted to at least see pre flowers before I started the flower entries. I now see a few but not on all plants. Not long tho I suspect. Everything is going great. These are the tallest plants at the mo and they are just preying too the light. They look so beautiful. I did lollipop them and spread the growth nodes out quite a bit with LSTing and they’ve responded beautifully. It’s such a relief coming from photos to know i can make a couple mistakes if I like and if I don’t make any my god do they reward you and respond well!!! I’ll be going back in at day 42 of flower to tidy up again but they are good for now 👍

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

Start week 7

Started off week 2 with heavy defoliation // they took it like champs // they instantly started to fill the space again // back right corner is still a bit behind but the rest of the canopy looks crisp 👌🏼 End of week 2 // kolas starting to form up // currently 27° at 60% // gonna lower the temp to 25 very soon // also collecting the water every day and then water them daily // gonna start using green power phosphor booster in the next week

It’s bern roughly two months these guys have been growing! Lst’d Both but untied the gg because I wasn’t sure she was benefiting from it so I’m going to do it over. These ladies (I hope) will start their flower journey next week when I revive my new flower tent 😎..stay tuned for some epic buds..I hope!!

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 PURPS ARE HERE TO STAY OH YAY!! Thinking about changing the title of this diary to that right there.. Like i said last week, purps are here to stay, nugs are 100% all purple though leaves are green. The smell has really come in this week. In spain we call this the Cali aroma, that high grade aroma. 😂 Kind of bummed that the buds aren't as big as I imagined but then again I wasn't expecting the purps so yeah, you get what you get I guess... They are getting a bit denser, so that's nice. Things are running smoothly.. In flower I use Enzymes once every 10 days or so to help out with the roots.. That's it.. hope you like the content. Ultimaaa semana!! O eso quiero esperar jaja No ha sido facil, y la mimosa no le gusta compartir el espacio con geneticas mas grandes! Una planta que come mucho y no pude dar con la tecla para su mayor bienestar. Sin dudas voy a volver a cultivarla, tiene un olor muy frutal con toque a gas(diesel) al menos yo le siento. Tratamos de bajar ec en esta semana y ya comenzamos a lavar con flawless que viene cargadita.

Grow diary 11 stage 7 Day 61-70 This is the size of plant I was expecting from all 4 strains and the way I had trained them. She has come on quite a bit over last 9 days, she is the 3rd furthest along.
